ATI Radeon HD 4650 - OS X Yosemite 10.10

About This File

Kexts for ATI Radeon HD 4650 to install with Kext Utility.

Successfully tested on OS X 10.10.

Those are the originals Yosemite kexts with only added 4650 DeviceID because no real Mac is using a 4650. So the divers are petty much stock. Give it a try! Mine works with 1920x1080 with login screen working too OOTB. So I am sure any graphic problem is not related to these kexts.

Enjoy!

Why the login screen is not working full resolution?

?

Not the boot menu with boot screen (that's fixed with config setting, adding my resolution), but the login screen where I put the password is? like 640x960 or 1024x768, and when I login it's normal (1600x1200). Tried with Chameleon and Clover but it's the same.

?

Anyone occured this problem?
?

Can you tell me how did you do the install? From usb stick to which bootloader you used, and what modifications have you done?

?

nivramdu94 also mention that he used Chimera, and it worked straight, but it doesn't work for me, so I must be doing something wrong.?

I have graphics lags with this kext, the screen is blinking, and I can't boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Also any benchmark tools (cinebench etc) doesn't see OpenGL and OpenCL devices. Any ideas?

I'm using desktop Radeon 4650 512Mb
