Nvidia GT 730 by KemalALKIN - Major Hint! - Please Read !

Full speed performance for plase change smbios.plist file:

Change mac type to MacPro5,1 because:

Edited speed lines in AppleGraphicsPowerManagment.kext ; MacPro5,1lines.

Delete This KEXT :

System --> Library -->> Extensions ;

AppleTyMCEDriver.kext because:

Start with MacPro5,1 = kernel panic | solution = delete this AppleTyMCEDriver

And switching very very fast no freeze in tab switch for fast speed = delete this folder in System --> Library --> Extensions AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext

" This driver only all Nvidia GT 730 GPU Models "

Note 1 : Resolution & refresh rate change perfectly work and glass menubar = %100 working your Nvidia GT 730 graphic card.

Hi KemalALKIN, great work--I am using PNY GeForce GT730 [10de:1287] card but cannot boot to desktop at all, in Mavericks 10.9.5. Was considering to return/sell this new card. Does your driver support this card? If yes, perhaps I can try upgrading to Yosemite... but my mainboard is not recent... Did you make it work only for Device ID 0x0f02 ?

Not working here either. My card identify as ?0x10de:0x1287. I got the kext to load with kext-dev-mode=1 and editing the plist (adjusting the device ID), but no further luck (still stuck in a sluggish 1024x768)... Web driver from nvidia + nvda_drv=1 manually installed (installer does not work) does not work either. I haven't found much lucky people with that model yet.

?

Any hints appreciated.

?

[note: from install, graphics driver have been backed up, as well as the problematic kext listed by OP].

OK, I think I understand this thing better. This kext update is merely a plist change of the original AppleGraphicsPowerManagment.kext, as pointed out by this diff of the plist:

- <key>Vendor10deDevice05e2</key>+ <key>Vendor10deDevice0f02</key>?

Whereas the problem with the GT730 [10de:1287] is not a throttling problem per-se, but a lacking support of driver altogether. Am I correct ?

FWIW, I ended up being able to successfully install nVidia WebDriver-343.01.02f01, and my system now works fine.
