Hi slysmith,

Wel it looks like I made a typo.

I've added 0x68E01002 instead of 0x68E11002. :P

Try with this AMDRadeonX3000.kext

Please tell if it works so I can correct V4.

Thanks

[Edit]

Updated to V4.1 for working Device ID 0x68E11002

What is your Device ID?

Which version did you tried V4.1?

Did you used bootflag "kext-dev-mode=1" to rebuild caches?

What hardware are you using?

Both kexts with the added Device ID did not load, strange.

Thank you for your answer..so..

id is 0x68f9

revision is 0x0000

I tried all your kexts...nothing

my mobo is asus p6t se but I tried also with asus p5qc, the same result

I didn't use any bootflag, no ati inject

My El Capitan is updated to the last version

Maybe the problem is the low memory detected (7 Mb!!!) instead of 1Gb

I tried also different output, vga, hdmi and dvi

You should not use any other enablers. See it as a clean install with only the modified kexts.

For El Capitan you have to use disable SIP > in Clover

BooterConfig: 0x28

CsrActiveConfig: 0x67

El Capitan only loads signed kexts. Disabling SIP is used to load unsigned kexts.

If you are using Clover you should try this method (update proof):

It has to be a clean install to work.

7Mb memory shows us that the kexts did not load.

In Clover also use inject ATI.

For El Capitan you should not use "Inject ATI" because that will give you a black screen after Sleep.

The card will show in System Info as "ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB" but who cares :P

hi Rene

sorry for the delay, I was very busy...so...as you suggested me I prepared the file config.plist but I didn't find any old version of that file...Usually I boot with the usb pen..not from the hard disk...

Then there must be an EFI folder on the USB. Inside it there will be a Clover folder with your config.plist.

Lets not spam this topic which is not about Clover.
Go on here please:

Tell me which hardware you have and what you did.
Also give me your config.plist which worked and the one that makes your PC stacks and restart.
Which version of OSX are you running?

well

asus p6t se, 16 gb, ssd 128 gb, ati5450 1gb

this is the file inside the usb that I made using clover v2.3 r3292

config.plist

I put the data you wrote before (rt variables) and saved in documents...after I overwrote the file on the usb
