About This File

Sinetek developed a 64bit kernel for most AMD cpus. Some however, won't boot with it so he developed this one. The Athlon, Athlon II and Athlon64 fall into this catagory.

All this can be found on InsanelyMac.com in the Development section. Cool Stuff, Maynard!.

I forgot the boot args: -v npci=0x2000 arch=x86_64 busratio=15

bus ratio should be equal to half the cpu speed (minus some zeros) example: My cpu speed is 3000 / 2 == 1500 so 15 is the busratio.

Just drop the sinetek_pp_kernel onto the icon for your harddrive on the desktop. It will install itsself onto the root directory of your harddrive. Then go to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist and make a copy of it, then open the original one in textedit or Property List editor and change the kernel entry from mach_kernel to sinetek_pp_kernel and the kernel flags from arch=i386 -force64 to arch=x86_64. should boot into 64bit Snow Leopard now.
