Hi, I have tried several kexts for ALC662, but I can't get it working on Asrock 4Core1600-GLAN with ML10.8.2. Tried many versions for ML which I found on this website. I see sound card, but only in STEREO mode, I can't select multichannel, and I can't hear any sound. I have tried analog and digital output too.

Can someone help me ?

Hey mans, sorry my english bad and limited.Apple Hackintosh Support = Better Support Gigabyte Motherboards = %99-90 and low support other systems.Example = Intel CPU + Gigabyte Motherboard - Nvidia GPU :pNot working systems = try http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=1961 or / and use lastest voodoohda example: 2.7.4 version...Note: Voodoohda driver = some times kernel panic and delete applehda !! - no delete = kernel panic...

quikblonddelete your voodoohda and other sound and mic. kexts and use my uploaded this drivers (for this driver alc662 revision 1.0 (a) ).note: sound drivers no create keyboard problem...note2: some gpu drivers (enablers) some times create problems with sound kexts (gpu kexts+sound kexts)...and if my drivers no work your pc - delete your sound kexts and use other sound kexts:voodoohda 2.7.4 or new version (use lastest)or use legacy alc662 kext :http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=1961note: voodoohda drivers some boots kernel panic problem...

After installing it using the KB{censored}, the audio works but the booting takes a very long time. When im in the login screen, I can't use the mouse. Also when im typing the password I can't see the dots (can't see it typing). But if I blindly type the password and hit enter, after a long time (about 20 seconds), it goes to the desktop. How to fix this?

THpubsYou use new bootloader from onehalfkiller.com and in installation select customizion (modules kernel patcher select) and install. Then disk utility fix permission your mac disk and run kext utilty and reboot.Note: I boot time 15-12 seconds with sound and other kexts...

Installed the latest bootloader and still it doesn't work :( The biggest issue is, it gets stuck in the login screen for nearly 2 minutes!

Here's a screenshot :

Before it displayed the last line (the ethernet line), it took a long time (several seconds (like 20 seconds...)). After that I get the login screen. Before I installed audio kext, I installed the network kext and it worked fine. Didn't got this delay before with the network.

After this boot screen is finished, it gives the mac login screen. In here, I won't et the mouse pointer. When I type the password, I can't see the password. But if I type the password (i can't see the dots, nothing is happening) and hit enter blindly, it will go to the desktop in about 2 minutes! But the sound is now working!

THpubsUse only applehda and delete hdaenabler and alc662 kext and use dsdt edit for alc662 with my applehda kextfor edit:Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { 0x09, 0x05 }) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x06) { "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x01 }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x0C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {} }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } }(add your dsdt table with dsdt editor programs...)
