1) insert the microphone into the back of the motherboard

2) install/open LineIn.app

3) Input from: Select >>> Built-in Microphone: Internal microphone

4) Output to: Select >>> Built-in Output: Line Out

5) Click button >>> Pass Thru

Thanks man, it's seem to be OK (I only tested it on 2.0 speaker :D). But now, I have 2 issues in the console log:

9/22/12 4:35:07.000 PM kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 730

9/22/12 4:35:13.000 PM kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 5165

Do you know how to get rid of them?

in your microphone is connected to other numbering of "nodes" should be modified specifically selected for your ALC888 separately.

Make audio codec dump in Linux / Ubuntu and changed inputs on the microphone:

1) AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver >>> Info.plist >>> ConfigData (may be to change)

2) Platforms.xml

or look for another AppleHDA.kext

Acer Aspire 5920. This kext enables sound on my device, but it becomes very silent after 30 seconds. When I open System Preferences > Sound > Output and switch device from Headphones to some of LineOut and after select Headphones again sound volume becomes fine again. But after 30 seconds it becomes very silent.
