About This File

This is the battery kexts which is working fine on my 10,7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion. It shows accurately the percentage of the battery charged or discharged.

AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext

AppleACPIPlatform.kext

let me know if it works on not. But, remember to remove (or,backup the original kext) before using this kext otherwise it might not work. I removed the original kext from S/L/E and put the kext in Extra/Extension.

it works fine on asus X66IC but this AppleACPIPlatform version (1.3.5) it makes the laptop run slower than the the original one (1.6) it comes with ML. when anybody else thinks the same thing?

This works awesomely when it wants to but can sometimes give kernel panics on boot (like half the time I go to boot my Samsung 350V5C AO-8 This gives me a Kernel panic). Any solutions? I've tried repairing permissions etc. Other than that, cool Kext!

Hi, I installed these: 3169-AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext.zip, 3169-AppleACPIPlatform.kext.zip on my Lenovo E430 and after restart I have kernel panic:
unable to find driver for this platform:\"acpi\".\n"@/sourcecache/xnu/xnu-2050.48.11/iokit/kernel/ioplatformexpert.xpp:1514
