About This File

Hi,

Here is the driver for the Fn Keys of new Asus Notebooks with _UID= ATK and _HID=PNP0c14 which has been modified by myself from the hokoffy source(insanlynac) and linux source code.

The working FN keys are:

Code:
Fn+
F1 Sleep
F2 WIfi/BT
F5 Brightness Down(10 Values) - No Animation
F6 Brightness Up(10 Values)
F7 Backlight
F8 Video Mirror
F10 Mute - WIth Animation
F11 Vol Down - WIth Animation
F12 Vol Up - WIth Animation
Multimedia keys(Arrows)
Pause/Play, Next and Previous

Fn+Num Lock- Brightness Down(16 Values) With Animation
Pause/Break- Brightness Up(16 Values) With Animation

My kext is compatible with the every asus laptop with _UID=ATK and _HID=PNP0c14 (Case sensitive) in your dsdt for ATKD Device. If your name is in different case then edit in info.plist file inside the kext and try.

Hoping that it would work for many.

Tried with Asus G53JW (change device match according to my DSDt) and it loads in console and says ATKD device found, but none of my Fn keys works, weird...

hi, in asus n53sv notebook it doesn't work. My dsdt has this section : Scope (_SB)

{

Name (ATKP, Zero)

Device (ATKD)

{

Name (_HID, "PNP0c14")

Name (_UID, "ATK")

Name (ATKQ, Package (0x10)

{...

so it should work.

Any help?

Mal

Me funcionó perfecto en mi Asus K43e, solo lo instalé y funcionaron todas las funciones Fn de mi teclado.

Gracias por compartilo.
