(Tutorial)Installing 10.9 Mavericks on G31 Chipset Motherboards

This method is tester on motherboards with G31 Chipset and Nvidia 8xxx series and later.
I'm not saying that this will not work on other motherboards i didn't tested it you can try and if it works post your results. biggrin.png
Things that you need - 10.9 installation image?
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? MyHack?http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Installed OS X (or you can use real mac if you have one)
1. Mount 10.9 installation
2. Open installation image and right click on install os x 10.9 and select show package content
3. Go to Content/SharedSupport and mount InstallESD.dmg?
4. Open my hack, enter you password, and select Create OS X Installer
5.Than select Create OS X 10.9 Install Disk, select volume where you want to create bootable installation and click OK
Select Browse manually and select mounted OS X Mavericks installation?
If you don't have OS X Installed than skip this step?
When MyHack is finished open USB/ and if you have working os x ML or Lion copy and replace your Extra folder to USB
- Set your BIOS to its default settings.
- Execute Disable bit: Enabled

- XD (if exists): Enabled
- Limit CPUID Max: Disabled
- Set all cores of the CPU active/enabled.
- Virtualization (if exists): Enabled or Disabled, try it.
- Hyper-threading: Enabled or Disabled, try it.
- HPET (High Precision Event Timer/PCH): Enabled
- Set all the Overclock/Performance/Turbo etc. values to Auto.
- Set the UEFI mode settings (if exists) to compatible mode
Boot from your USB and boot with flags ?USBBusFix=Yes PciRoot=0 -v
Go To DiskUtility select your HDD and select Partition Create how much partitions you want and under options select GUID Partition Table ( IT IS IMPORTANT TO SELECT GUID PARTITION TABLE THER IS NO MBR PATCH FOR NOW )
Format your HDD to Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Exit DiskUtility select partition and install?
after 15 minutes you will be asked to delete 3 kexts click yes and delete kexts?
When installation fail message comes up restart PC and boot HDD that you installed OS X 10.9
Setup your account and go to your HDD/Extra folder and edit org.chamelleon.Boot.plist
Mine is looking like these and it should work on all G31 Motherboards?

Graphics Enabler will work on Nvidia Cards only, if you have ATI or Intel GPU find enablers that works with your GPU


Install your sound,wifi,ethernet...

Open MyHack and select RunMyFix?

Restart Your Hackintosh And You Can Start Updating OS X Mavericks In AppStore?

After all Updates Is Installed RunMyFix Again and reboot


If you use Nvidia GPU download and install Nvidia Cuda Drivers http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-cuda-5.0.61-driver.html


I have M-audio Delta 2496 Pci card and it works with Envy24 Snow Leopard 64bit kext

in and out works great?
