I worked on this machine for about 2 years so far, using mavericks. Now I've just decided to upgrade my system to el capitan, so I created both the clover usb disk, using your zip archive, and el capitan, but when it says "boot from OSX Base System" then a forbidden logo appears and the system shuts down. I created el capitan usb key using the dev method on osxdaily, because my iMac runs snow leopard and the standard method is not supported on 10.6. Any ideas???

UPDATE: Ok the there's an issue with config.plist in your Clover_3320_preinstall.zip, because the problem persists with mavericks too. Booting in verbose mode it says "this version of mac os x is not supported on this platform"

UPDATE 2: the problem is with SMBios in config.plist!!!

UPDATE 3: ok, I fixed config.plist by commenting some keys in SMBIOS (latest version of clover is able to set up everything for you if you provide the ProductName) and the system reach the installation, this is what I edited:

<key>SMBIOS</key>
	<dict>
		<key>#BiosReleaseDate</key>
		<string>04/22/11</string>
		<key>#BiosVendor</key>
		<string>Apple Inc.</string>
		<key>#BiosVersion</key>
		<string>MBP81.88Z.0047.B0E.1104221557</string>
		<key>#Board-ID</key>
		<string></string>
		<key>#BoardManufacturer</key>
		<string>Apple Inc.</string>
		<key>#BoardType</key>
		<integer>10</integer>
		<key>#ChassisAssetTag</key>
		<string>MacBook-Aluminum</string>
		<key>#ChassisManufacturer</key>
		<string>Apple Inc.</string>
		<key>#ChassisType</key>
		<string>08</string>
		<key>#Family</key>
		<string>MacBook Pro</string>
		<key>#Manufacturer</key>
		<string>Apple Inc.</string>
		<key>#Mobile</key>
		<true/>
		<key>ProductName</key>
		<string>MacBookPro8,1</string>
		<key>SerialNumber</key>
		<string></string>
		<key>SmUUID</key>
		<string></string>
		<key>Trust</key>
		<false/>
		<key>Version</key>
		<string>1.0</string>
	</dict>

after this, everything works like a charm with el capo

Excellent, thanks for letting us know :)

Good afternoon, I just wanted to ask you: what does the file "ssdt-1" perform on your laptop?
that controls?. I want to understand your guide better. I understand the function of the ssdt.aml file, but I could not understand the function of the ssdt-1.aml file. thanks

Hello @m.gbt
First of all, congrats on the tutorial, very well written and detailed.
I know that this topic is old, but I´m new on the Hackintosh world and have the same Ultrabook and wanted to give it a try.

Working perfectly including updates :D

Thanks,

Gustavo

24/01/18 - Just a quick update... Purchased the following: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301703894402 (ATHEROS AR9285 AR5B95 802.11BGN PCI EXPRESS HALF MINI WLAN CARD AW-NE785H - W006), replaced the Intel Centrino, applied the kext enclosed with the Kext Utility and working perfectly :)

Cheers
