Clover boots from USB only

Recommended Posts

Hi.

?

I've got a problem with my hack (without dsdt) booting via clover.

?

SSD has a GUID partition table.

?

HFSPlus, HFSPlusUEFI drivers were installed on a OS X partition.

?

So I can boot the System only when my SSD connected via USB )) I see a menu of drives (os x, recovery etc.)

?

When I switch my SSD via SATA (AHCI) I see a gray screen with common information 'bout system and no bootable disks like this

?

?

(sorry for quality, I've found this screenshot using' google))))

?

So what can I do more to solve this problem?

When the boot process?takes you directly to this screen, means that by some reason, DUET couldn't

find any valid EFI boot option...

?

This may be due to many things, I/O error, filesystem error, unsupported filesystem, wrong file name, etc...

?

But as you told that when you plug your SSD at an USB port you are able to boot, maybe the EFI boot option

may be attached to a specific device path, for example, of your USB device...

?

You have two alternatives...

?

1st. > Try to reinstall Clover...

?

2nd. > Through DUET's GUI, using the "Boot Maintenance Manager" option, navigate to the /EFI/CLOVER folder and select the?CLOVERX64.efi file...

?

By doing this,?CLOVERX64.efi will be the default boot option at your next boot and consequently solve your issue...
