In general, a Haswell laptop will work OS X 10.8.5 or better.

The HD4400 iGPU needs a patched kext as described here:?http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/23000-intel-hd4400-full-qeci-in-yosemite-1010210103/

You may want to read about other´s experiences here too:?http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296455-enabling-full-graphics-acceleration/

?

Hackintosh can not boot with two active GPUs (HD4400 and NV820m), so you must try to disable the NV graphics.

Further the SATA controller has to be set to AHCI.

If you can manage to work around these three obstacles, you should get OS X installed.

Some laptop components may work with OS X without issues, others like Intel WLAN PCI-e will be a lost case.

Thank's for your reply,

Your CPU and Mobo has no issue to run osx (most probably)

but you need a PCI_E gpu to run more smoothly. 1st gen gpu are supported but its hard to work on.so better to get chip pci-e card.

and rest will work just fine.

but you also can run systeminfo to make sure ...http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/file/894-system-info/

Wouldn't it be much better to discuss an Arrandale-based Dell Optiplex 980 desktop's potentials as a Hackintosh in a separate/dedicated thread rather than pollute an Haswell-based Asus 510L laptop-related thread?
