Question

Hi all. I'm new in this forum. Firstly sorry for my bad english (if i'll write errors).
My question is simple. I have windows installed on my HDD. I want to make a partition and dual boot macOS sierra (or high sierra). Can i do it?
I tried to search about my component. I'll tell you all of them.

-processor: Intel core i5 480M

-processor graphics : Intel® HD Graphics

-Graphics Base Frequency : 500 MHz

-integrated : Nvidia Geforce GT 540M 2GB CUDA with Nvidia optimus tecnology (i read that optimus is not supported bu macOS, isn't it?)

- Wifi: Broadcom 802.11n (BCMWL63a)

-audio : realtek high definition audio

So i want to try it. But with dual boot, i must reinstall Win10?
Thanks for any answer you give .

bye :)

You can just make a partition for osx installation but if ur HDD is on mbr then you might need to patch installer cause osx osx now uses GPT partition tables.Other then you good to go

optimus is not supported for osx and u can disable them.intel 1st gen gpus has support for osx
