Question

This is so frustrating usually i work stuff out myself but im really stuck on this one ive tried everything. I can only boot lion with my usb which has chameleon on it. Ive tried several bootloaders on my hard drive and all fail to find the bootloader cuase i get a black screen saying.

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: GPT

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: test

boot0: error

I have used MB{censored}, Chameleon standalone, and the latest ive have now is chameleon wizard and yes i have read a similar topic on here (http://www.osx86.net/10-7-lion/12769...oot-error.html) regarding this error i followed thoose steps and no good. The system doesnt seem to recognise the bootloader its driving me nuts.

My specs are

4G Mem

i7

650 Gig hard drive split into 2 partitions one with Mac lion and the other windows 7

Do you have another HD to test with? Is the HD Controller set to AHCI in cmos? you said MB{censored}, do you mean first U{censored} then MB{censored}?

I installed my os with myHack and used my hack to install chameleon and when i boot up i get that error. The mac partition is definatley active and i have also tried chameleon manual install and pkg still doesnt help. ive been at this for like a month now lol

Assumming you have the Latest Bios/firmware on your Computer, and that you are using the latest {censored} files (U{censored}/MB{censored} Lion Edition) I would try to boot in safe -x and verbose -v in the startup parameters, you may need to add things like -busratio or pcirootuid, acpi, maxmem... etc to startup as well. If it was me i would wipe the drive reformat the drive guid/hfs journald etc... and install all from scratch using uni. then run multi in easybeast (nonDSDT mode) with chimera, be sure to add the necessary kexts for your system reboot, If there are errors, try the boot parameters and watch to see where it fails. do the process over until you find have added all of the extra kexts that you need for it to boot (I would turn off cpu energy saving settings, and work on that last) Keep notes of exactly what you do so you can document later. It does seem that you are trying to do multiple thing at the same time out if fustration (Cameloen/chimera) etc.. so the notes are important so you don step on yourself.
