  1. Hi, I've been out of touch with all this recently and was wonder which board to buy for an E5400, now that P45 boards are discontinued Also the most straightforward (easiest) installation method for Leopard and Snow Leopard Many thanks Marco
  2. Apparently, Gigabyte themselves are making their bios more OSX86-friendly http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=212968
  3. Anyone seen this over at InsanelyMac http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=210994 What do you think? Marco
  4. On Tuesday, Apple won a permanent injunction against Psystar following summary judgement in favor of Apple's claims of copyright infringement and violation of the DMCA. (court document PDF). The court orders that Psystar is now prevented from the following: 1. Circumventing any technological measure that effectively controls access to plaintiff's copyrighted Mac OS X software, including, but not limited to, the technological measure used by Apple to prevent unauthorized copying of Mac OS X on non-Apple computers; 4. Manufacturing, importing, offering to the public, providing, or otherwise trafficking in any technology, product, service, device, component, or part thereof that is primarily designed or produced for the purpose of circumventing a technological measure that effectively controls access to plaintiff's copyrighted Mac OS X software, including, but not limited to, the technological measure used by Apple to prevent unauthorized copying of Mac OS X on non-Apple computers; 5. 5. Have you ever met such a f***ing pompous, self-important nazi on a forum? ------------------------------------------ Re: EFi-X Won't boot by Daimaou on Mon Nov 30, 2009 11:08 pm? Edis0n wrote:This restart problem happened to me too, the solution is to reset DMI pool by modifying the hardware of the computer, by, e.g. removing a HDD. After the system boots, you can shut it down and reinsert your HDD... Good luck, Edis0n. Is this the official way to fix the Reboot Shutdown problem to EFi-X and Snow Leopard ? Or just a workaround ? Re: EFi-X Won't boot by Edis0n on Tue Dec 01, 2009 9:36 am? If you don't want help, don't ask for it. Consider this a warning for your attitude. Ban is around the corner. Good luck, Edis0n.
  6. Mr EFi-X, I mean Mr Mavrik, has just anounced that Ancient Gate will be coming 'some time in 2010' (who said ASEM didn't have ETA's? ) Anyway this game is the sequel to Ancient Update Server, which I know you've all enjoyed playing so it should be worth checking out
  7. I'm not a violent person at all, but Edison is a c*** - I'd really like to punch him

  10. I've been trying to buy an activation code by credit card (anyone else received one yet?) It wouldn't accept my card - avs mismatch whatever that is - wouldn't save my delivery address then complained delivery address doesn't match. I submitted a request for support to buy a bloody activation code using their online form...'your request cannot be submitted at this time' Not good
  11. http://store.psystar.com/rebel-efi-preview.html The plot thickens
  12. That's sad, but more sad for you or your wife?
  13. My understanding is EFI-X does support XP, but only on a FAT32 formatted drive If you have XP on an NTFS drive then you only have the F12 option outlined above
  14. Flic's method is probably best place to start and develop things from there
  15. Daimaou is an EFI-X fanboy, nay sycophant, praising WD, and ASEM generally. phoning them up for chats and telling us all how promptly they answer the phone and how well-informed they are More to the point Daimaou chastises people for talking about their chameleon solutions and demands people talk of EFI-X and only of EFI-X. He demands that we all remain postive about ASEM etc etc In my view no apology is required
