  1. Version 1.0.0

Sorry, that's a little late but at least here it is!
  2. Version 1.0.0

Patched as usual. Credits to fantomas and netkas.I just have one exotic card, not all of them, so, before stating "it does not work" please check if your ID is in both plist.
  3. Version 1.0.0

This time ATIRadenX2000.kext should be correct. Not sure about AMD48000Controller.kext though. All credits go to netkas and fantomas. Original kext enclosed in zip package. Give it a try!
  4. New version uploaded QE_CI_Exotic_Patch_10.12.4.zip
  5. I checked the package I uploaded. I have a 4830 card so I cannot test them with neither 4850 nor 4890. Weird, as everything seems ok. I patch it in the same old way: 1. added 0x944c1002 to AMD48000Controller.kext's Info.plist 2. added 0x944c1002 to ATIRadeonX2000.kext's Info.plist 3. changed 0F83A2000000 with 909090909090 as shown in enclosed pic. Steps 1 and 2 should fix resolution while 3 fix the framebuffer. Be sure you don't get a kernel panic because your cache is messed up. Anyways, the package contains original kexts; if you have issues you can place old kexts back in S/L/E. PS just realized I messed up Info.plist with some id's. I upload a new version, if you want to try it.
  6. Version 1.0.1

Couldn't find it yet, so I patched it myself. The enclosed kexts work for AMD/ATI Radeon HD 48xx cards. All credits go to fantomas and netkas. Enjoy!
  7. Version 10.12.2

At every macOS update fantomas spoiled us a brand new version of AMD patch for the so called Exotic Cards. I don't know what happened this time but until now I cannot find the upgrade for 10.12.2; I patched myself successfully the files so I am happy to share my work. I added same ids I found in his 10.12.1 Info.plist. Let me know if my patch works for you as well. All credits goes to fantomas and to the people whom he gives credits to.
  8. As explained in this tuto http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296949-tuto-qe-ci-exotic-patch-via-clover/ by fantomas the patch is quite easy. 1. open with a TEXT editor /System/Library/Extensions/AMD4800Controller.kext/Contents/Info.plist change <string>0x94401002</string> with your ID, which in my case (ATI Radeon 4830) is <string>0x944C1002</string> 2. do the same with /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonX2000.kext/Contents/Info.plist 3. Open with an HEX Editor (I used HexFiend which works pretty good) /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonX2000.kext/Contents/MacOS/ATIRadeonX2000 replace 0F83A2000000 with 909090909090 4. Obviously replace originals with patched version n right place (/S/L/E/) with correct owner and permissions. 5. Rebuild prelinked Cache with touch /System/Library/Extensions Reboot a couple of times and you are done. I attach my patched files but it won't work for you unless you share my videocard (HD 4830); otherwise binary patch should still be fine but you need to change id in both Info.plist QE_CI-10.12.2_4830.zip
  9. For the first time I don't need it Thanks fantomas patch on the fly is working fine and I just upgraded without any issue!!!
