  1. First read Here and then read here
  2. try removing it to see what happens but you will not have audio. but the best thing here is to do a clean install, not sure if could work but you can try nawcom modusb method to install: Preparing the nawcom ModUSB: - You will need: 1. the retail snow leopard DVD 2. a pendrive / external HD 8gb+ - Prepare the USB 1. format your pendrive / external HD to Mac OS Extended Journaled 2. Restore the retail DVD to the pendrive / external HD (with disk utility) 3. download and run the ModUSB, an tell the installer to install it on your pendrive / external HD that you just restored with the retail dvd. now you should have your pendrive / external HD ready to install. installation. 1. set your bios to AHCI mode. save settings and restart. 2. plug you pendrive / external HD and boot from it. it will load for a while, then the installation procedure will come up just follow instructions. it will automatically detect your hardware and select the kexts you'll need, and add the ElliotForceLegacyRTC.kext to avoid the bios loose your configuration.
  3. i will recomend to do a proper retail install of the os, because cloning an existing one from a real mac its not the right way. maybe this guide help you. good luck.
  4. apparently the issue is with voodoohda, wich install method are you using?
  5. give it a try. i won't give you a KP, and remember Hackintosh its all about trial and error most of the time.
  6. just change the name of com.apple.boot.plist in /extra to org.chameleon.boot.plist that is the file that tells chameleon what to do when booting. so the decided to change the of the file. and the newer version won't work with com.apple.boot.plist
  7. try that one, i used to use it on another build, but if it fails let me know
  8. Try this, first update the .html"]Chameleon Bootloader to a recent version. then remove any injector/EFI string that you are using and add this flag to org.chameleon.Boot.plist (newer versions of chameleon uses org.chameleon.Boot.plist instead com.apple.boot.plist, just they changed the name) <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string>
  9. Give it a try to the EvOReboot.kext. put it on /Extra. can use KextWizard to install it, very simple/handy app to install/repair permissions. Good Luck!
  10. 1. first try the SleepEnabler that posted Kynnder (its a variant of SleepEnabler for user experiencing issues with it, made by 3rr0rist) 2. Try the one that i posted (its the original one made by Nawcom) if you try "1" and "2" and still having the restart issue then try EvOReboot, put it on your /Extra/Extensions. Good Luck!.
  11. did you tried SleepEnabler.kext? , install it to /extra/extensions. reboot and try sleep. note: - if kernel panic occur after this, boot with this flag pmVersion=0, and delete sleepenabler.kext - every time you update the system you will need to delete sleepenabler.kext before updating and reboot. because if its loaded during an update it causes kernel panics. - every time you update the system , you also need to update the sleepenabler.kext to the current system version. (for you now with 10.6.7 you need sleepenabler 10.6.7) older versions will not work. ex system 10.6.7 with sleepenabler 10.6.6 that will not work. the version of the sleepenabler MUST MATCH the current system version.
  12. \ <-- the cursor for me when i'm installing it, blinks for about a minute or more (be patient), before it enter the installation procedure. try the last kyndder recommendations and let us know.
  13. Why dont you give it a try to Nawcom ModUSB, its a very easy and comprehensive usb retail method. dont know why you are running into troubles... your board is 100% compatible. Preparing the nawcom ModUSB: - You will need: 1. the retail snow leopard DVD 2. a pendrive / external HD 8gb+ - Prepare the USB 1. format your pendrive / external HD to Mac OS Extended Journaled 2. 2. plug you pendrive / external HD and boot from it. it will load for a while, then the installation procedure will come up just follow instructions. it will automatically detect your hardware and select the kexts you'll need, only deselect the VoooDooHDA. and add the ElliotForceLegacyRTC.kext to avoid the bios loose your configuration. ----- Once installed download the DSDT Auto-Patcher, and select your board model and patch it. it will create a file named DSDT.aml, put it on your /Extra folder, restart. and you should be done.
Necesitaras: 1. DVD Retail Snow Leopard 2.
