115 downloadsHere you can find my complete set of kexts. They are separated in two folders. After installing RTGNICv2.0.6For10.7 I had to manually remove RTL8169 kext, because sometimes I got KP, not always, every third or fourth time. For Bluetooth you also have to add this to kext patches in CLOVER. Without this BT works OOB, but with additional kext and this patch, BT works even after cold boot and after sleep, no issues ever again. Credits http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2925-bluetooth-firmware-uploader/ Name: IOBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport Find: 0F850701 Replace: 0F840701 Comment: Fix Bluetooth 30 seconds delay patch For audio and mine is ALC269VB Device ID 28 I had to change igain from 90 to 0 in info.plist and install kext straight to S/L/E, you HAVE to remove AppleHDA kext before that. DONT FORGET sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions after installing KEXTS please I am using easykct pro and neer had a single problem. WIthout igain fix I had static noise after every boot. This is voodooHDA kext and all credits goes to him ofc, except for changing this igain thing, and that can do every better trained monkey like me Audio is working excellent, headphones and MIC on apple headphones is working, didn't test mic port on laptop to be honest, but BT headphones and everything else works fine. Other kext as stated goes to 10.12 folder or Other, in clover kext folder, for some strange reason I keep both of them synced and populated with same kexts I dont have factory installed WiFi-BT card, I bought separately AR5B95 ( AR9285+AR3011) Ah yes, for some reason I am using ELAN touchpad, no prefpane, but it is working as it should. Dear friends, after a lot of troubles, I did it. I managed to install fully functional Sierra on this notebook. Will upload all required files very soon, as soon as I get some free time. It is clover on UEFI kind of installation. First of all I had to flash BIOS with moded version. I did this at least 10 times without any problem, so for me BIOS flashing is not risky at all. Only thing to do in BIOS is to enable UEFI booting. OFC If you do some damage to your notebook it is your fault only. https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-BIOS-MOD-FOR-DELL-N7110-UNLOCKED-UEFI-BOOT Still working on everything to work and once i am done, in next few days, I will post step by step guide. So far I only have MIC not working and I have to disable nVidia in DSDT and SSDT ( it will take some time for sure ) For a start I wil insert drivers folder which you have to put in Kext folder in EFI partition. For bluetooth to work after sleep and cold boot you can do this from http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2925-bluetooth-firmware-uploader/ For Clover, add this to kext patches instead: Name: IOBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport Find: 0F850701 Replace: 0F840701 Comment: Fix Bluetooth 30 seconds delay patch With credits to TimeWalker for the patch idea. and bluetoothfirmwareuploader has to be installed in S/L/E followed by sudo touch System/Library/Extensions. Regarding Ethernet, there is pkg driver which works excellent on 10.2.2, but only with 10 Mbit full duplex - you must set this parameters manually from advanced settings in network prefpane. 56 downloadsDear friends, here is mine N7110 dsdt patched for installation on Sierra, I didn't tried this on other versions of OSX but it should work on EL Capitan at least, my wifi card is AR5B95 AR9285+AR3011. BT is working OOB, WiFi is working with toledaARPT kext installed with easykextpro and always followed by sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions I will post my clover folder and kexts also. Everything is working like a charm. I also found Mieze FE driver but for some reason only original Realtec driver is working good for me. There is only 10Mbps but it is full duplex at least :). Sleep is working too ( hey, a lot of probooks doesn't have working sleep ) UPDATE - New version soon, I am working on disabling nVidia Optimus via DSDT and SSDT, and DSDT will be patched for ALC269 Device ID 28.
