  4. Version 1.0

    1,257 downloads

It was posted by congvuong1502 : http://www.osx86.net/view/2732-smart_battery_no_need_dsdt.html It occured lots of kernel panics for my HP DV7 while booting. So i changed AppleACPIPlatform.kext with my own. Installation: 1- Backup and Delete all kexts about battery (voodoobattery.kext, AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext, etc.) 2- Install the files. (S/L/E) 3- Repair permissions and rebuild kext cache. 4- Reboot As congvuong1502 declared, no need to edit DSDT. For me, it is worked with DSDT or no DSDT. It was tested with HP DV7 but i think lots of laptops are supported. If it causes kernel panic, start the system with -f -s -v flags and install your old battery kexts which were backed up. 5. it is ok for my HP DV7 with my own AppleACPIPlatform.kext. i will upload it. thanks congvuong1502. no more voodoobattery
  6. Hi dude , i ll ask for advise.

firstly, there is no "stable" kext for idt 92hd75b3x5. i try some solutions for it but all of kexts that i tried didn't work. finally, i found a kext builded by BigMacPlz on x86.net (Link: http://www.osx86.net/view/2291-lion_idt ... _kext.html )

it works with too much kernel panics and also, adobe flash videos' sound crashes.

i also try some applehda but they didn't work.

    1) are there any kext for idt 92hd75b3 that works with Lion 10.7.3

    2) if not, how can i patch it? both applehda or voodoohda

    3) can "editing dsdt.aml" help me?

    thanks for everything

    IDT 92HD71b7

it's been posted by BigMacPlz on this link: http://www.osx86.net/view/2291-lion_idt92hd75b3_hp_8540w_audio_kext.html yes, 92HD75B3 works but with some errors which are not stable working with adobe flash content (e.g. youtube, vimeo, etc.) that mean while watching flash videos online the audio crashed but system sounds are still working ;moreover, it causes too much kernel panics after the boot. i think AppleHDA solutions for IDT will be more stable but i couldn't find any patches for idt hda 92hd75b3x5. i try to patch a applehda but it didn't work.
  11. i tried it and after installation, KP on booting. i tried with the flag -f about 5 times but the system wasn't load. then, delete it by the help of -s flag. my audio that is idt 92HD75B3 has not working since upgrading to 10.7.3. and i also update the kernel with darwin 11.3.0 which is downloaded from osx86.net. are there any suggestion? or anything else.

  13. finntriel, that's a great job. before, i used a kernel that is for i7 but the multi tasking was awful. thanks to this kernel, while rendering a video from final cut, i can render another video from after effects and surfing on the net. thanks
  14. did u read the installation manuals? or you may try to use a new copy of the dvd. did u read the installation manuals? or you may try to use a new copy of the dvd.
