OSX files from Realtek?s site, for those experiencing problems downloading with Safari.
Most likely not all possible Realtek ethernet devices are going to work, there is still lnx2mac which may be more versatile.
The Driver was developed for Ralink Network, applied to RT309x, RT3092, RT3090, RT2790, RT2860 and was installed in Mac OS X 10.3/10.4/10.5. The version of the Driver was 220.127.116.11.
The package for 10.5 Leopard should also work for SL 10.6 (32bit).
This workaround is not perfect, better change your WLAN PCI-e card for a compatible one.
It made my old Asus WL-138G V2 work with 10.8.1 as Airport!
Install with Kext Utility and repair permissions with Conti?s myFix.
Well, another package for the common RT2870 chipset. The difference to other packages: It is working for me with 10.8 , so it wont harm anybody storing it here.
The Rosewill app is akin to the Ralink app and runs in 32bit mode. Anyway - as long as it keeps my hama WLAN-USB-Stick, 150Mbps (Part Nr. 00053135) alive, its perfect.
Kexts for usage with EeePC 1001HA, 1005HA, 1008HA and some similar N270/GMA950 netbooks.
As usual, install with KextWizard and repair permissions afterwards.
Here are the ones I used for test driving my X3100 rig.
Install 10.8 on your Mac/Hack and upgrade to 10.8.2 if needed.
Install the X3100 stuff, repair permissions, rebuild caches and clone the result to your notebooks HDD. Install Cameleon 2.1 from myHack on your HDD if needed.
Boot your notebook with -f and be patient.
To me its more a proof of concept than a usable OS.
Could be due to my small HDD and 2GB RAM though.
This is AppliArt?s guide, I translated some time ago.
Its meant for German users, who don?t like to read English text or Google translation.
Utility to find out whether your Hackintosh would run 10.8. Mountain Lion.
The UI seems to be German only, it was published by the German Mac Welt.
As this app was meant for Mac, it wont know about AMD Hackintoshes and other things.
So dont blame me, if your are told your old rig would run Mountain Lion.
The main screen says:
The three buttons say:
As you may have guessed the colours in the Kompatibel row say:
green = working
yellow = working, but no good
red = no go
This is one of the last kernel patches by Nawcom.
Legacy_kernel for OSX 10.6.8 to be used with AMD cpus.
Some newer Intel i3, i5 or i7 are supposed to run Snow Leopard with this kernel too.
The kernel does run 64bit and 32bit apps side by side.
The picture below has been taken from my Athlon-II 640, your mileage may vary.
A pity that you could not continue your awsome work Nawcom!
Although the Hackintosh community owes you that much already, your help would still be very much appreciated.
Yet another IO80211Family.kext, making AR9285 WLAN chipsets work as Airport Extreme with "n". The kext is meant for 10.6.7 only.
I have no idea whether it can be used with other OS as well.
Tarballs for creating OSX bootsticks with a 10.6 retail DVD using GNU/Linux, following this guide: http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=3380
Guide to create a bootable stick for OSX without a working Mac system on GNU/Linux.
The file was taken from the awesome waybackmachine.
Nawcom´s illustrations in the guide are missing.
Nawcoms tarballs needed to make use of the whole thing, were still on MF by November 2012. Still I decided to store them here too: http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=3383
MediaFire sadly drops files at will...
Works for my T60 with 10.6.7.
Trackpoint and Middle Mouse Buttons are enabled.
Edit: Not always though, I have to admit.
AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext from 10.6.7.
Rollback needed for some 10.6.8 or higher Hacks to be bootable.
AppleIntelGMA950.kext and AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext.
Handsome for driving mGPU of Asus Eee PC 1001HA and similar, should go into S/L/E obviously.
Taken from the 1005HA/1008HA Snow Leopard KIT.
Enables brightness Fn keys and sleep key on Asus Eee PC 1001HA and similar.
File was taken from the Coop Da Ville Kit.
Not tested, as I am using USB stuff in ML.
