  1. Is there any wifi/Bluetooth card that will work completely that will but fit in the wifi slot in my notebook and is both compatible with my notebook natively and Mac OSX? I have a Atheros card that worked pretty with my old HP notebook (HDX 16t) and Mac OSX, but it is too big to fit in the wifi card slot on this notebook.
  2. I cannot seem to find out if this card also includes Bluetooth?
  3. I was wondering if anyone can tell me which one of these will work with my HP DV6t-7000 Quad Edition (Ivy Bridge) 2012 model notebook please? 4. I am having SO many problems with this as well I have almost the exact same specs, except for the my Nivida GPU. Here are my specs below. I lost the one and only USB 2.0 port when I had a USB drive plugged into it. While rotating my notebook I banged the USB flash drive on the sides of my desk and snapped the plastic piece inside the USB port clean off. 3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3 GHz Intel HM77 Express Chipset 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M (1GB DDR Dedicated RAM) Bluray player/burner 3x USB 3.0 "SuperSpeed"/ 1x USB 2.0/HDMI/VGA/RJ45 Eithernet Port/Headphone-Out (Stereo)/Microphone-In Multi-Format Digital Media Card Reader for Secure Digital cards & Multimedia cards HP TrueVision HD Webcam with integrated Dual Array Digital Microphone (High Definition Low-Light) 4x Beats Audio? 5. Has anyone here had any success with iAtkos ML2? I got it installed successfully once. But I could not get back in after I rebooted and I have not been able to since. Does anyone know which combination of settings to select in customization that are best for a HP DV6t 7000 Quad Edition? My spec as far as I can tell are identical to the original post. I will post them again for anyone that does not feel like going back to the first page. 3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3 GHz Intel HM77 Express Chipset 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M (1GB DDR Dedicated RAM) Bluray player/burner 3x USB 3.0 "SuperSpeed"/ 1x USB 2.0/HDMI/VGA/RJ45 Eithernet Port/Headphone-Out (Stereo)/Microphone-In Multi-Format Digital Media Card Reader for Secure Digital cards & Multimedia cards HP TrueVision HD Webcam with integrated Dual Array Digital Microphone (High Definition Low-Light) 4x Beats Audio? 6. Hey Ajnozari, any progress with your guide? Does anyone know where you can still download the first iATKOS ML? I cannot seem to find it anymore and I cannot get seem to get the one I have to install Mac OSX anymore.
  7. I just copy and pasted the kext into the installer from a Snow Leopard installation and it worked. All my partitions came up in the installer, including the windows one. I selected a lot of options in "Customize", I don't remember which ones anymore. Mountain Lion installed just fine, I booted and played around in Mountain Lion for awhile. The webcam worked and lots of other things. I didn't make any changes other than to change the wallpaper. Restarted, booted into Windows and copied over my files onto the Mountain Lion main partition, so I could make changes when I got back into Mountain Lion. Unfortunately I could not boot back into Mountain Lion. So I formatted and tried again, I forgot what selections I made from the first time. Every time I tried I would get a successful install, but Mountain Lion always freezes up after I type my password on log on screen. I thought the kext utility only makes changes to your Mac OSX installation, does also make changes to anything with Mac OSX file system as well?
  8. Thank you that worked really well. It installed fine and I was able to bet into in just fine. I rebooted and I cannot get back in. So I tired other settings and nothing works. I am looking very forward to your guide ajnozari.
  9. I have followed the directions to the letter from both Macbreaker.com and the official iAtkos website when creating my iAtkos ML2 installer. With either guide my drives do no show up in Disk Utility or destination selection screen. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I have already tired U{censored} and Bridgehelper.
  10. That would be nice, I tired again and I accidentally used an older mutlibeast. I am not sure what I did but I got "grey startup screen" to list/load my actual RAM modules (both of them) and both GPU's. It would only boot into a black screen and I could never resolve the issue. I am looking forward to your guide.
  11. Actually I managed to get a DDST close to my system and extract a mostly working one and obtain what I would consider a working DDST file and also found a good SSDT and SMBIOS (Macbook Pro 9,1) for my computer. And a few right kexts that allowed me to boot into Mac OSX "cougar" in normal mode with graphic enabler off. I still could not get it to boot without the USB drive. So I decided to remove the other Mac partition where I store all the files I use and somehow ended up deleting all my partitions. I am currently recovering the data, then I have to transfer everything I recover to another HDD, format, partition, and try all over again. Everything was working except video, audio, and the card reader. Oh yeah I replaced the mach_kernel with one on this site and that is also what helped a lot. Only complaint even though I used the SMBIOS from the current MacBook Pro in the "about Mac" would say Xeon something processor with double my processing speed.
  12. So I tried this: Gigabyte P55-UD3 - Downloads - OSx86.net I placed it in both my Extra folder and the main directory and it worked. I could boot into Safe Mode only without cpus=1. Some kind of power management kext (I didn't get the name) was preventing from booting normally. I will try again in a bit. Also when ever I use a DSDT file that is very similar to my hardware I can boot in safe mode and get to the log on screen. But I think it freezes since I cannot use the trackpad or keyboard. Since I do not know how to post files directly here is URL link where I got it. olarila.com ? View topic - Help on Patching DSDT I did some research and found out I have HM77 motherboard and QM77 is almost identical, this DSDT file even has the same CPU as mine. Notice that it finds and and identifies my CPU, but later on in the boot process it say unknown cpu configuration or some (I will get back to you in a bit again on that) Also notice it says it cannot find my smbios and SSDT file even though both are in my Extra folder. And yes you can still see I can only get it to boot from my USB key. Here is this most recent one, it finds the smbios file, but it getting it from the USB key, which I never changed or update the files on there. Any idea what is going on?
  13. I actually am not interested in Lion because it does not support Ivy Bridge, Intel 4000, Nvida GT630m and USB 3.0. I was only trying to use it at the time because Mountain Lion was not out when I started this thread. If I could I would like it moved to the Mountain Lion section and have all post related to Lion deleted. I have an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230, last time I checked it is not, and probably will never be, supported by Mac OSX. When I get it everything working outside of Safe Mode I will purchase the correct Atheros card that I need. Which I am not even sure which one that is at the moment. I have one from my last HP notebook that worked fine (HP HDX16t with Atheros AR5BXB92 card) but it is twice the size of the Intel Centrino one. Current Wifi/Bluetooth Card. Current Wifi/Bluetooth Card compared to the old one. Size of current Wifi/Bluetooth Card compared to a US Quarter. Oh the Tech Era guide, I tried that a few months ago to the letter. The installer would freeze up at the welcome screen and I could never get it to work.
  14. Here are some photos of what is going on when I use two different bootloaders. Chameleon v2.1svn r1820 is the only one, and only from my iAtkos installer USB key, I can boot into Safe Mode with -v -x cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No. With just -v and GraphicsEnabler=No; I can only get this far: With Chamera v1.11.1 r1394 with -v -x cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No I get "Still waiting for root device". With -v GraphicsEnabler=No I get this: I am using iAtkos ML with 10.8.2 update with Multibest 5.2.1.
