  1. I had the same issue but I didn't have to add that string to my boot.plist to fix it. I ended up removing my NetworkInterfaces.plist as well as all devices in the Network preferences. On reboot I enabled my onboard LAN in the BIOS. Once it started it picked up the LAN first and then my WiFi card. This got the app store to accept my credentials.
