  6. for sure! here you got my complete EXTRA folder 5750g.zip (8,30 MB) - uploaded.to
  7. @langerik: lol thats what i call good luck;) so your system is almost set up for the first round. i dont know if the 540 and the 520 have the same driver id's but you can try it out. yes it worked for me but it is not clear to me when it starts to work since it is a switchable gpu. there also is no driver software with settings to control it like it is in windows yet. i turned it off because of the noise and the heat this thing made, it is working permanently in my case. if you got a good dsdt you can patch it with chameleon wizard, just locate the downloaded patch file with it and patch your dsdt. it is very easy

Here y'all got everything that made my 540m work! Notice to make your system work and have it backed up on a separate partition before you start installing this exotic videocard. The secret of it is not to have the perfectly right kext but the right dsdt set up. patch your dsdt, delete all other kinds of graphics kexts and install the geforce kext. Additionaly you can install the geforce bundle and the cuda driver. Anyways, if you are not into working with applications that need a lot of graphic resources, stick to the integrated graphics card, since the geforce heatens up quickly and its just a needles overuse! by MacodMan
  9. @langerik: installing the gt540/520m is not that easy, you have to fix the problem by patching your dsdt. do you have sound, chipset, trackpad etc working? To all my other bros ridin on a limped geforce 540m. put some swag on it with this: Geforce 540m_Kext Bundle - Downloads - OSx86.net
  10. it really works, it used to have a kernel panic when i set graphics to switchable in bios but after deleting some unrelevant graphics kexts it is even listed as 2gb ram second graphics device
  11. i solved it get another distro, not iatkos but N{censored}. just google it
  12. As it is said on the title... Which Notebook? Which BT controller? Which kext/method? cheers:very_drunk:
  13. hey whats up guys, i finally made it and installed the mac osx lion 10.7.3 successfully on my acer aspire 5750g notebook! now it's optimizing time and one of my problems is that my system is taking too much time while booting up. i will record the booting process and post it later, but now i have not enough time for this, since i am sitting in a lecture right now;) are there some kexts that can be deleted? what other methods do you guys have to boost up the booting process? here are my specifications etc http://www.osx86.net/notebooks/16462-diary-maconizing-my-acer-aspire-5750g-end.html This is my chameleon.boot.plist <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Default Partition</key> <string>hd(0,3)</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1024x768x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Hide Partition</key> <string>hd(0,5)</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>darkwake=0</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </plist>
