  1. ? It will only work with mavericks 10.9.2 - if you are using any other version you will have patch that mac_kernel
  2. ? copy mac_kernel (found in the zip) to your mac hard drive replacing the one that is already there note this is for computers that use the haswell chipset with intel cpus like the i7 running 10.9.2 only if your mac boots then you do not need this unless you cant log into imessage facetime and so on then you can try this kernel instead If you experience the mac auto rebooting at startup (not actually booting) or kernel panics at startup this may solve it ? theres two ways of doing this ? 1- via windows install macdrive so you can view mac hard drives in windows enable show hidden files in the folder options in your windows control panel open your mac hard drive and backup your old mac_kernel then delete mac_kernel (its in the root of the hard drive not in any folder) copy the modified one and paste it where the old one was ? ? 2 - via mac terminal copy your mac_kernal to a usb stick - if doing via windows make sure usb stick is fat32 boot your mac with your usb installer like you were going to install mac again when you are then install screen open the terminal navigate to your usb stick type the following replacing Macintosh HD with the name of your mac hard drive cp /mach_kernel "/Volumes/Macintosh HD/mach_kernel"
