  1. Hi, I have a iogear usb bluetooth module connected to my Gigabyte DS3H/I5-2500K based system, and it generally works great, even allowing me to wake from sleep, with no drivers needed. However, I've done something twice so far, not sure what, that mucks up the connection to my trackpad and magic mouse in a weird way. It appears to be connected, but the cursor movement is very erratic and unpredictable. If I lift the mouse at all while moving it, the cursor jumps half way across the screen. The trackpad is also jumpy and iffy, disconnecting and reconnecting on its own and rapidly, and tapping stops working -- only real clicks. Finally, clicking on the bluetooth menu in the menu bar takes about 5 seconds to appear every time. No idea what causes this to happen, but last night it occurred when I started Parallels and the windows machine thought a bluetooth device had been connected and took it over. Even after I disabled bluetooth devices in the windows machine, and shut it down, the devices wouldn't work properly on the Mac side, and restarting did not help. The solution, both times that this happened, was to simply unplug the bluetooth dongle and plug it back into different USB port. Hope this helps someone who is experiencing strange bluetooth behavior!
  2. At times it seems to work and other times not. At the moment it is showing up and they're working. I still have not confirmed if it's reliably there or not. I ordered another card, a SATA III 2 Internal 6Gbps Ports PCI-e Card, ASM1061 Chipset, because it was recommended by some people over on {censored}, but not sure if it will be necessary now if this Rosewill is working...I will continue to test.
  3. Hi everyone, I have a gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard and it only has 4 SATA ports. I would like to add some more, and I have a Rosewill RC-216 RAID card with 2 internal and 2 external SATA ports. It is recognized by the BIOS along with drives I connect to it, but they don't show up in OSX. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to make this card work, or another card that I could buy that would be compatible? It was recommended to use MB{censored} to install the 3rd Party SATA driver, which I did to no avail. However, when looking in the system profiler/system report, the card actually does show up as JMicron JMB363 AHCI now, with a 3 GB/s speed. Just no drives showing up in OSX. Here's a pic of the SATA section of system report: Thanks a lot
  4. Thanks for the reply. I have since decided to stop using three monitors. I deactivated my internal video completely. Three monitors is just too complicated on this setup.
  5. So what if I just add my windows drive to the hackintosh instead of making a new one? Will it be recognized automatically?
  6. I finally got my system working. The integrated video worked but the nvidia did not. Then I realized I'd forgotten to plug the power into the video card. When I did this, the video card worked fine, but now integrated video now does not work. Any ideas? Thank you!
  7. I have a gigabyte z77-ds3h and i5-2500k working fine now, but I would like to put my win7 drive in and boot to it as well. I have chameleon wizard but am reluctant to dive in if there is a chance of screwing things up, as it took a long time to get where I am now. Can anyone give me some tips on what to do? It would be appreciated...thanks!
