  1. I really can't remember well. Can you tell me what's your problem, exactly?
  2. Yes, there. Type -s -v, then press enter after selecting your Mac partition.
  3. Updated to 10.9.2. Had some troubles with nvidia driver, now everything works fine. ? ?
  4. I don't know if I were using patched kexts. There were the one included in N{censored} 10.9. I've already updated to 10.9.1 and got no problems at all. I got my video working again, but I still can't get 3D acceleration: dashboard renders on CPU, Finder flashes when opening in list mode, etc. Also I've noticed that "About this Mac" shows me no displays, although the graphics card is detected correctly.
  5. It boots, but it seems that I've lost nvidia driver and acceleration. Also, I can't boot without -f -F flags. It booted fine in 10.9.1 without these flags. What can I do?
  6. ? I think I got it working again, by using a patched kernel.
  7. I'm having the following problem and I can't seem to get rid of it: My updated hackintosh gets stuck at "Waiting for DSMOS". After a while being in that state, the HDD turns off (I can hear it) and the machine doesn't do anything else. I've tried everything that I read in the Internet (moving some kexts, adding an updated FakeSMC, GraphicsEnabler=No) but everything I do doesn't work. The thing is that the machine doesn't get stuck, I can still press the keyboard and get feedback on the console, but the boot process stops at Waiting for DSMOS. ? Any ideas are appreciated! TY! ? [sOLVED]! ? I've found nvidia kexts from here: http://www.{censored}.com/graphics/112968-nvidia-hardware-acceleration-issue-after-mavericks.html#post690838 Downloaded them, updated web driver, and noweverything works as it should!
  8. It works now. Thank you! ? But now I can't like your post! When I try to like it, it says that I've reached the quota, even though I haven't liked a post before.
  9. Hello, I made this account in the summer and since then I haven't being active. I wanted today to edit my profile, to enter a location a date of birth, and a picture. I managed to link my profile with twitter and put the picture from Twitter in it, but I had to talk with a moderator to make changes to the rest of the profile, because I can't see where I can modify them. ? This is what I see in my user control panel: ? Thank you for your patience. I don't know if this is the way it's meant to be, @Lacedaemon told me to report this.
  10. Yes. I am planning in buying another 8GB RAM module, but the price grown with 25$ at the model that I have right now. I bought the first stick in summer, at 75$, now it costs 100$. For what I am doing right now ( I use Photoshop more than video editing), I don't require more RAM. Also, i've lowerded the RAM latency from 9-9-9-24 to 8-8-8-24.
  11. I want to tell you about my first experience with Hackintosh. ? Last week I've successfully installed N{censored} Mavericks(10.9) on my computer. Let me tell you about my config first and then we'll talk about more: ? Processor: Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.2GHzMemory: 1x8GB Kingston DDR3, 1333MHzMotherboard: ASRock B85 Pro4Videocard: MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Twinfrozr III OC, 2GB RAMHarddisk: 1TB Western Digital 7200rpm, 320GB Western Digital 5400rpmSSD: Kingston V300 120GBMonitor: Benq GW2250 (22")Case: Segotep SG Z2Additional info: Hama AK 200 keyboard, Microsoft Wireless Mouse 600, a Bluetooth dongle that looks like this.? After that, I've updated to 10.9.1 from Appstore. then the sound started to make problems. I've disabled the front audio from BIOS and installed ALC892 from MB{censored}. Now the sound works properly and it's more powerfull than in Windows.? The videocard works perfectly, with nvidia web driver. OpenCL works, video power management works OK, but only before "turbo" freq is touched. After 1.12GHz step is used, the GPU clock doesn't go down to 324MHz, but it stays to the maximum non-turbo freq: 1.03GHz. Animations are working well, except a little framedrops when maximizing (by using the green button) the windows. That's frequency independent. It occurs at 300MHz or at 1.03Ghz. My fonts look fatter. I have used Windows and Linux, and in the same sites, the fonts are clearer. Example from Hackintosh: Sleep works, but it takes 30 seconds to turn off the computer, and another 30 to wake the monitor. The first to go to sleep is the video card, and the last to wake is also the video card. It boots faster than that, so 30 seconds to wake it's a little to much. (darkwake=10 doesn't do much) I can't make iMessages to work. I still have to struggle a bit, but I think I can make them to work. ? TL;DR: N{censored} Mavericks updated to 10.9.1 from App store. What works: everything except iMessages. Appstore, iTunes, bluetooth, video card, sleep ( if 30 seconds isn't too much to wake ). ? If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. ? LE: Added some benchmark pictures.
  12. I'm having the same problem. ML3U. i5 4570 Mobo's chipset is B85 8Gigs of RAM Only different thing is that I have an Nvidia video card, not ATI.
