  1. I cannot install OS X. I cannot because I'm getting the black screen. I don't know how to install kexts BEFORE I install mac, as that is what I need to do.
  2. ? Why 10.6.7? I'm using Mavericks... ? Also, how do I install a kext BEFORE installations, as opposed to after? I know how to install post-installation kexts, but before... not really.
  3. Sorry, I made an error. I forgot the "U" in PCIRootUID and I was typing on my tablet, so it automatically made it CPUs not Cpus. Also, there is a capital "E" in GraphicsEnabler, isn't there? ? What does PCIRoot=(1 or 0) mean? Should it be the same as the UID one?
  4. I don't have access to the link I used right now, but the source of it was 38darkness42's video on installing osx 10.9.1 on an AMD machine (I'll provide the link soon). I used the link in the description to the mach_kernel. Edit: Here is the video: ? Refer to video above for method. I was thinking similarly about the problem. I'll try that idea soon, but I forgot to mention that I tried several other combinations of CPUs=1 or CPUs=6, PCIRootID=1 or PCIRootID=0, busratio=20, -f, -v, -x, but have not tried that one. I'll do that soon. Edit: I tried that, same issue. Edit: Again, I forgot to mention something. When I leave out verbose mode, it goes to and stays at the apple logo, without displaying the famous cog. ? Also, just to make sure you understand, I am using, or trying to use Mavericks , NOT Yosemite.
  5. Ok, so I am building a Hackintosh on my AMD machine, but the error comes when installing. I have replaced the mach_kernel and follows tutorials on how to get it working, but it always freezes right after displaying the text shown in the attached image. Right after displaying that text, and I mean I had to record a video, and then use snipping tool to get the image, it goes to a black screen, and freezes (This screen is right after all the "Loading HSF+" messages). This is using the flags "GraphicsEnabler=No -v npci=0x3000". However, I have tried changing the "0x3000"?to "0x2000" and the "GraphicsEnabler=No" to?GraphicsEnabler=Yes", but to no avail. My specs are as listed: ? Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3CPU: AMD FX+ 6300 Vishera 3.5 GHzGraphics Card: NVidia GeForce GTX 460 1GB VRAM2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance Ram750W Corsair Power Supply (This is not necessary, but for the sake of completeness...)What am I doing wrong? Different boot flags? ? Any help is greatly appreciated.
