  1. Thank you for your reply. I fixed the problem somehow. I tried many things (deleting NVRAM, clearing cache, changing def etc) but not sure which one fixed that problem. If that happens again I will try you suggestion first...
  2. Possibly I did something wrong with clover configuration when I was trying to edit CustomUUID/MLB. now every time I open my hackintosh a black screen with the mouse pointer appears then a message is being shown "You shutdown your computer because of a problem". this is slowing down the startup. I've tried restoring my previous good installation but no luck. Even formated EFI partition and re installed Clover and re configured it. Otherwise everything is ok with this system. I'm running 10.11.3 (restored with 10.11.2.. no luck). I'm attaching a .txt file with the report (pasting the first part here). please help me....... report.txt Anonymous UUID: 808D883C-BE23-8878-65A7-E09D12FEB5DA Sat Jan 23 10:38:40 2016 *** Panic Report *** panic(cpu 3 caller 0xffffff7f849d976c): pmLock: waited too long, held by 0@0xffffff8003020761 Backtrace (CPU 3), Frame : Return Address 0xffffff8113dc3cb0 : 0xffffff8002f2ad21 0xffffff8113dc3d30 : 0xffffff7f849d976c 0xffffff8113dc3d70 : 0xffffff7f849ca1e9 0xffffff8113dc3e60 : 0xffffff7f849c95b4 0xffffff8113dc3f20 : 0xffffff800301898e 0xffffff8113dc3f40 : 0xffffff8002f41deb 0xffffff8113dc3f90 : 0xffffff8002f42330 0xffffff8113dc3fb0 : 0xffffff80030116e7 Kernel Extensions in backtrace: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement(218.0)[EDFD877E-7459-3DC0-9E64-F07AC3112BC6]@0xffffff7f849c7000->0xffffff7f849f1fff BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Boot args: dart=0 nvda_drv=1 Mac OS version: 14F27 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Wed Jul 29 02:26:53 PDT 2015; root:xnu-2782.40.9~1/RELEASE_X86_64 Kernel UUID: 58F06365-45C7-3CA7-B80D-173AFD1A03C4 Kernel slide: 0x0000000002c00000 Kernel text base: 0xffffff8002e00000 __HIB text base: 0xffffff8002d00000 System model name: iMac12,1 (Mac-942B5BF58194151B) System uptime in nanoseconds: 56235634112 last loaded kext at 13619047593: com.apple.driver.AppleOSXWatchdog 1 (addr 0xffffff7f8588f000, size 20480)
  3. That didn't help... Note that with clover boot OSX detects DVD drive 'Connection Type' as Internal which I don't want. I want the DVD drive to be detected as an externally connected device.
  4. I'm using Yosemite 10.10.5. I have an Asus 2014L1T DVD drive connected to the internal SATA port. When I enable Hot swaping from BIOS and boot with Chameleon, OS X detects the drive as 'External' and everything goes fine. Though it says burning unsupported but it works actually. But when I boot with clover, it is always detected as an internal drive and Ejecting with F12 works. But the problem is the disk tray gets stucked when ejected (using F12 or physical button). ? ? is there any way fixing this? or Making OSX detect it as External? I need to use the clover. System info: ? MB: Gigabyte GA H61M S2PV Bios version: FH ? ?
  5. I have no idea how to do that. Can you give me more detail? One more thing.. I'm already using voodooHDA for internal ALC887.. Am I be abble to activate both sount cards this way?
  6. This kernel panic is occuring sometimes (not always). It seems the KX audio Driver is causing this kernel panic. How can I get rid of this? (Photo attached) System Info... 7. MB: Gugabyte GA-h61M-S2PV CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 GPU: (MSI) Geforce GT 740 2GB GDDR5 (Using nVidia web driver and CUDA driver) RAM: 6GB DDR3 1333 MHz Monitor: 19 Inches VGA (Connected to GPU's analog port) Assuming GE means GraphicsEnabler, I'm using GraphicsEnabler=Yes.
  8. It seems everything is working fine except display (VGA) EDID is incorrect. Login screen is 800x600 (Ugly!!!) every time I boot (boot screen is 1280x960 which is fine).??It is not causing any serious problem but I would love if there is any way fixing it.?
  9. I've managed to fix the proplem by injecting extracted VBIOS from the card itself. Now it shows "NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 2047 MB". [ UseNvidiaROM=Yes & VBIOS=Yes in org.chameleon.Boot.plist ] I'm a newbie mac user so, can't really say if QE/CI is working or not. If there is any method to check that plz tell me.? I can play chess smoothly and screensaver (tested photo mobile, Holiday mobile and few others) is also working. Thank you..
  10. I've installed yosemite on my system. But the problem is in About this mac, info about the graphics card is not proper. I'm using GraphicsEnabler=No...
  11. Thank you very much for your reply. I have done a little bit of digging and now I understand that I have to use a HDMI to VGA converter if VGA does not work. As my video card has only DVI-D ports, DVI to VGA is not going to work. Thanks again.
  12. I want to install Yosemite on my system. My hardware has been verified as Yosemite supported. My GPU is nVidia GT 740 and my monitor has only a VGA (D-SUB) connector. I have read somewhere that installation may have problem (blank or gray screen) with the VGA connector. It is also said that VGA output does not work at all in OSx. ? Is that true? if yes, what should I do? Would a DVI-VGA converter work in this case? Please, tell me more if I am missing something.. ? Thank You...
  13. Thank You.... And also sorry for spelling mistake
