  1. After disabling SIP i installed RTL8187L MAC OSX 10.5 Driver Package (UI ver. 1.5.7) downloaded from Realtek site. ? Then had to run?chmod -R g-w RTL8187l.kext/Contents/Resources to skip the following error when running kextutil -t -v RTL8187l.kext: ? ? File owner/permissions are incorrect (must be root:wheel, nonwritable by group/other):? ? ? ? Resources? ? ? ? English.lproj? ? ? ? InfoPlist87l.strings?Once i fixed the permissions i called the following command kextutil -t -v RTL8187l.kext and got the following error:?Defaulting to kernel file '/System/Library/Kernels/kernel'Notice: /System/Library/Extensions/RTL8187l.kext has debug properties set.Diagnostics for /System/Library/Extensions/RTL8187l.kext:Warnings:? ? 2. Thanks a lot Kyndder!! ? Yes i'm on a real macbook air 13'' 2015 and would like to be able to load drivers for an USB WiFi anthena with a rtl8186l chipset. After disable kext signing security, do you know where to find working drivers? Maybe i'm wrong but, to me, it looked like those driver i installed were designed for older OSX versions. ? Thanks again! ?
  3. Should this work for Wisacom HP-1000 (rtl8187l chipset)?
  4. Does anybody know if WISACOM WS-HP1000 (rtl8187 chipset) should work with Mac OS X El Capitan on a Macbook Air 13'' 2015? I've download and installed the drivers from Realtek (also the ones posted in Download section) but although i can see the Realtek app icon in the app menu, the wireless card still isn't working. I've run the following command getting the following error. I'm wondering if maybe i can edit the signature or the kext file(s) to make it work. Does any one knows? Thanks in advanced!! cd /System/Library/Extensions Extensions kextutil -t -v RTL8187l.kext Defaulting to kernel file '/System/Library/Kernels/kernel' Notice: /System/Library/Extensions/RTL8187l.kext has debug properties set.
