  1. I'm looking for answers too. I have a Toshiba Satellite L645D with almost the same hardware: The difference is I have an HD4200. So far I've had no luck with iatkos S3 V2, which refuses to boot.
  2. I was able to get it installed with the required kexts and everything, but I was only able to get it to boot via Safe Mode. Any reason why it hangs? I tried FakeSMC and that didn't help the power Management kext issue. It hangs after that and gets no further. I went back to a well known Tiger distro on the nx7400 (JaS 10.4.8 spoofed to 10.4.11 works flawlessly with it, and the only issue I had was the 440x Ethernet has no driver in addition to the audio muting itself on boot sometimes). My only fully functional hackintosh with the above distro (iATKOS S3 v2) is my Compaq Presario SR5262NX minitower (Pentium Dual Core 1.8 GHz (E2160), 2 GB memory and a 945GL iGPU), which only lacks a driver for my Netgear wireless card. I look forward to hackintoshing other old PC's in the future. What better way than to start with a couple PC's that are one of a very few to be nearly fully Mac compatible from the early days of hackintoshing, right?
