  1. I have an HP Elitebook 8460P and my USB 3 ports are not working. (Only power) I am on 10.14.3, Everything else seems to be working. Link to the zip from MacInfo Tool (cant seem to attach on site) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xkW6YDZgXzlPEcPpI4HY2iQNCroHdty6/view?usp=sharing
  2. Im going to try to put my original serial and stuff back that was giving me customer code. I cant call apple with it since its not genuine, but one of the serials you gave me was a genuine early 2011 13 inch MBP. Ill call, say thats my serial, they will look it up, as valid, and hopefully with the customer code it will work. Worth a shot i guess. Ill post here if that works, after calling if i get it activated. Edit: Called apple with the code all went smoothly with the process, gave them a valid serial... thats the key here... then validated my apple id ownership, gave them the customer code, they processed it, and said it may take up to 24 hours to take effect. Still no imessage yet after a few hours. but "May take up to 24 hours" so we will see.
  3. Same thing: Error occurred during activation
  4. That is a No go... I dont get a customer code though, but i did get activation error.
  5. EDIT: Currently running osX 10.13.4 Just updated with the update that came out today. On the Siri side of things. I did have to install VoodooHDA to get my speakers working so I assume VoodooHDA. my speakers work and in settings both my built in and line in mic inputs hear my voice. I can record using recording apps or like Skype works fine. Siri on 10.12 worked on the same laptop. But for 10.13 it just refuses to listen to me. My Mac os was downloaded directly from the Mac app store using a real Mac and made bootable in transmac. On the iMessage side of things. My apple id can use iMessage on my iphone. So it's not account banned. I even tried a real serial on my hackintosh see if it works but nope. Same customer code. But serial is for a 2012 mid macbook pro. My Mac is identifying as a 8,1 early 2011 MacBook pro. I have tried many variations of rom/mlb/serial/uuid or combinations of while leaving others empty. I have a credit card on account and have also tried changing my password to the account. Should I use the real serial from a friend's laptop and call apple with my Id/code? See if they need to "unblock" my hackintosh or whatever. Maybe my physical HP board uuid is blocked by apple I don't really know how it works.
  6. I have an HP Elitebook 8460P and i can not get iMessage to work for anything. Running osX 10.13.3 currently. No combo of serial/uuid/rom/mlb or parts there of i try work at all. I have read many guides and tried a lot of things. Is this a lost cause? or can i get iMessage working. Rehabmans guides, imessage debug, countless youtube videos, google searches. My ethernet is defined as En0 Every time i get error with a customer code and says to call apple. Dont think that would be very wise with a hackintosh serial # I dont have a legit serial number that i can use either. that was suggested before too. As a side note my siri "Works" it activates but doesnt hear what i say... I can say: "hey siri" and it will hear something like "ok" Or i can ask it to "Open downloads folder" and it responds "Hello" Siri was working on Sierra but is currently not on High Sierra. Dont know if thats helps iMessage or not but something i also noticed.
  7. working perfectly, Thank you. Although my serials and all were wiped with XX-Masked-XX.... Just generated new ones and re-signed in to iCloud.
  8. Here is the generated .ZIP Send me MacBook-Pro.zip
  9. I don't know how to edit a dsdt but I do know how to generate it and put in the patched spot in EFI. I already had someone patch my dsdt for battery % that works now. But no USB. I can zip my dsdt here when I get home. Sorry haven't checked this forum in a while. Have been on insanelymac.
  10. I have an HP Elitebook 8460P and my USB 3 ports are not working. (Only power) I'm not sure what to do to get them working. Tried MB{censored} USB 3 third party kexts and the result is non booting os. MACH reboot.
  11. I got my DSDT patched at insanelymac. this issue is now solved.
  12. I have an HP Elitebook 8460P running High Sierra 10.13.1 I'm trying to get battery status working and if I'm understanding it right I need to patch my DSDT.aml to get it working. I have attempted this and can't seem to get it to compile, always an error. I need to patch the DSDT to get battery status working even before patching, if attempting a compile I have 2 errors. Im fairly new to getting Mac running on Intel Based PCs. any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is my DSDT.aml file pulled from: EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin/DSDT.aml generated by using clover bootloader help menu, via the F4 option. I used MaciASL to attempt the edits. using battery patches from here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch DSDT.aml
