  1. macOS Mojave was just released in 24th September 2018. This is the major release by an Apple because the UI of Mojave is completely dark. Requirements for this guide : Intel based processor laptop/desktop USB stick 8 GB or higher A working mac or hackintosh Internet Connection Preparation: Download macOS Mojave To get a working Mojave installer onto a USB flash drive it must first be formatted into a scheme that allows for an EFI Partition. Afterwards the the Mojave Installer is ready to be placed on the USB drive using is Terminal. Step 1: Formatting the USB Drive. You can format the USB flash drive using two way: Disk Utility Terminal 1.Disk Utility: **Insert Flash Drive **Open Disk Utility **Select the Flash Drive on the left column **Click Erase Set the following settings: Name: Mojave Installer Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Scheme: GUID Partition Map **Click Erase **Click Done upon finish. 2.Terminal **Insert Flash Drive **Open Terminal And Type Following Command diskutil list Then # repartition /dev/disk1 GPT, one partition # EFI will be created automatically # second partition, "install_osx", HFS+J, remainder diskutil partitionDisk /dev/disk1 1 GPT HFS+J "install_osx" R Note:- In my case,my sub flash drive is /dev/disk1, You can check for available drive using command diskutil list Step 2: Transferring the Mojave Installer to usb flash drive via terminal. If you using Disk Utility method to Formatting the USB Drive,then using this command. In Terminal.... First edit and replace Your USB Drive Name. sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Mojave Installer --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app --nointeraction Then.. After finishing the process.In Terminal [Recommended] sudo diskutil rename "Install macOS Mojave" Mojave Installer ....................................................................................................................................................... **If you using Terminal method to Formatting the USB Drive,then using this command. In Terminal.. sudo "/Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia" --volume /Volumes/install_osx --nointeraction After finishing the process.In Terminal [Recommended] sudo diskutil rename "Install macOS Mojave" install_osx Step 3: Mount EFI Partition Step 4: Download Clover EFI Bootloader Step 5: Install Clover EFI Bootloader to usb flash drive. Change Install Location and select your usb flash drive select "Customize" Check "Install for UEFI booting only", "Install Clover in the ESP" will automatically select Check Themes The defaults for Drivers64UEFI.efi are recommended Step 6: Moving Kext You need to download the kext which matches with your system and copy the kext to USB EFI /EFI/EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other/ Download: Replace your EFI with this modified EFI<<<<<

A Patched SSDT-PNLF.aml AppleBacklightFixup.kext Lilu.kext WhateverGreen.kext Preparation: Download this following elements A Patched SSDT-PNLF.aml, AppleBacklightFixup.kext,Lilu.kext,WhateverGreen.kext For Backlight|Brightness.zip <<<<< Installation:*Mount EFI Partition...."Lilu.kext" and "WhateverGreen.kext" install to system/library or EFi/efi/clover/kext/Other"AppleBacklightFixup.kext" install to system/library or EFi/efi/clover/kext/Other"A Patched SSDT-PNLF.aml" install to EFi/efi/clover/Acpi/Patched After Install: Open Terminal and Paste this following command In Terminal sudo kextcache -i / After process is complete, then reboot. **If the Brightness | Backlight not working Open Terminal and paste this following command one by one. In Terminal.... sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/ sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo touch /Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / After process is complete then Reboot.[Recommended] All Done...

If you want to be able to use all your USB ports and USB 3.0 speeds you will need this patch.You can use 3.0 USB flash drive with 3.0 full speed. Instruction: 1.Go To Efi/efi/clove config.plist 2.Open config.plist with clover configurator or plist editor pro 3.Go to config.plist/Kernel and Kext Patches/kextsTopatch 4.Select the “+”/Add Then Copy and Paste Following Line: Name*: com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI Find* [Hex]: 83FB0F0F 83030500 00 Replace* [Hex] : 83FB0F90 90909090 90 Comment: USB 10.13.4+ by PMHeart Save config.plist
