  1. A minor backend issue was causing the Online Users display to stop displaying data from time to time over the last few days. IPS produced a patch, which I applied this evening, so that should be fixed now. SC
  2. Just for fun I made a little Word Cloud of the comments left here so far. Don't worry my posts don't count as entries - much as I'd like them to. You of course can comment as many times as you like, but only one will count as an entry. So party on
  3. @ki6inev @kvdragan @jacky5293 @jameze This is where you need to leave your comment! If you don't comment there, you are not in the competition!!! Someone created this topic in error, and its causing confusion - locking it now.
  4. @zephar No worries - I got your back - unhidden now
  5. @jamezeHit and a miss You need to comment on the above topic to enter, creating a new topic here will not count.

  7. Just upgraded to version 4.4.3 - so we are one again running the latest and greatest version. It seems to have gone smoothly - did some quick tests in the areas most affected by the changes - but if anyone finds a problem let me know. SC
  8. afaik, people have had some success modifying ATI4600Controller.kext and adding the device ID (0x954F1002) Select "Show Package Contents". Check if the info.plist shows the Graphic Card PCI ID of ATI 4350 model . If its not there add it, then save the plist and install the edited kext with Kext Wizard. Hopefully someone with more experience than me will weigh in here, but I think that's worth a shot anyway. SC
  9. Ok, we are finally back on the upgrade path. The forum is now running the very latest version of IPB. More good stuff on the way soon. SC
  10. http://incrediblethings.com/tech/angelbird-cf-cards-fastest-durable-memory-cards/ Dedicated data recovery team at Angelbird if things go wrong, and they will even put your logo on them if you ask. Anyone have experience using these? Perform as expected? Worth the price? SC
  11. I have been debating whether to unhide this or not, and I think I agree with noname. I have tested the mega.nz link and the download went fine. Unhiding article now. SpecialCircumstances
  12. The background shows insanely mac but he says osx86 - so sort of a mention ^^
  13. The astute among you will have noticed that we did not in fact update the forum software as planned. I put a hold on the update because I saw a number of bug reports on the IPS forum and wanted to be sure we don't run into the same problems. The upgrade will happen sooner rather than later - maybe to version 4.4.2 - but stability is more important than new stuff right now.
  14. Linus mentions us at 1:55 I would love to hear peoples thoughts on whether or not he gives a good description of the Hackintosh Community, as well as his method for building a hackintosh. SC
  15. @animoinc Glad to hear your issue is fixed, but you should consider telling us how you fixed it - That way other people who land here via search can get some hints to solve their own issue.
  16. Yes It should be available for you now. Thanks for pointing out the issue. SC
  17. We will be updating the forum software shortly. Its not a major upgrade, just going from Ver. 4.3.6 to Ver. 4.4.0 The release notes are here if you are curious https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/ It will happen quietly in the background some time next week without any planned downtime, but I thought I'd keep you all in the loop. SC
  18. Hi RockinU2, Thanks for taking the time to point this out. We recently lost the staff member who deals with this kind of thing, and I am currently scrabbling to take up the slack. I will most likely delete the article today, after I've done a little forensics as to why its here, with broken links to the embedded images. I don't think your Safari is to blame here, the download limit should be approx 17.5 TB as discussed in the link below. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3512847 It is certainly not our aim to drive any user towards paying for downloads anywhere. Edit:Article now removed
