  1. Congratulations to @terrymardi !!! They are now the proud new owner of an Angelbird 1TB SSD WRK with a custom paint job. Let's hope he sends a picture of it in its new home SC
  2. @linicegoko All users who entered have the same chance of winning. There will be more competitions, maybe with a different format, nothing written in stone yet. For a simple giveaway picking a random winner is really the only option. Fate is a fickle friend SC
  3. Ok, Good Luck To All and thanks for participating. Locking The Topic Now. Winner will be notified by email. SC
  4. The beta should be available sometime in the summer. From what I've heard there is some focus on cross platform development, with some existing iOS apps being ported over already, and iPad apps can be ported with a little work. Also it seems it will now be possible to use your iPad as an external display. Credit to @fantomas for being first off the mark here with the news. SC
  5. I think we should end the competition tonight at midnight. Your thoughts? SC
  6. @marvin344 nope not too late You'll know its too late when the topic gets locked. SC
  7. @Yousef123 hey its ok, you can add as many different comments as you like of course only one comment counts as an entry, but multiple comments are perfectly fine.
  8. @niXta 0.000434782 is a low probability event for sure, and yet we can say with probability 1 that someone here will be at least that lucky Rooting for you with your mathematical outlook. SC
  9. @dunaldo Yes, Angelbird were kind enough to produce this one-of-a-kind version specially for osx86.net. Let's hope the winner has a nice tempered glass side panel on their hackintosh case, so they can show it off to the world.
  10. Ok, it looks like the people who were having Newsletter subscribe/unsubscribe problems are all ok now. If I missed anyone, let me know. SC
  11. Hi, @sebamac - would love to visit Patagonia some day. You have some of the best rock climbing in the world there. Greetings from little old Ireland
  12. We are receiving an unexpectedly high volume of traffic at the moment, and this might be having a few side affects. I see from our logs that a few people are having problems subscribing/unsubscribing from the newsletter. Rest assured that those requests have been heard, and will be executed eventually, even if it means I have to do them one at a time from the logs (fml ) Thank you for your patience in the meantime, SC
  13. @netdok Nice catch I can confirm the the prize really is the 1TB SSD WRK. When we were planning the competition we were thinking of giving a 480TB drive (SSD WRK ECO), then the good people at Angelbird went above and beyond and gave us the 1TB SSD WRK drive instead. More space, better performance. Forgot to amend the rules - my bad - On my way to fix that now. Thanks, SC
  14. @bbatzolboo Good Luck Your odds of winning are currently 1/928
  15. A minor backend issue was causing the Online Users display to stop displaying data from time to time over the last few days. IPS produced a patch, which I applied this evening, so that should be fixed now. SC
  16. Just for fun I made a little Word Cloud of the comments left here so far. Don't worry my posts don't count as entries - much as I'd like them to. You of course can comment as many times as you like, but only one will count as an entry. So party on
  17. @zephar No worries - I got your back - unhidden now
  18. Competition Now Closed. Thanks to all who participated and to Angelbird for the fantastic prize. The winner will be chosen shortly, and notified via email. 19. Just upgraded to version 4.4.3 - so we are one again running the latest and greatest version. It seems to have gone smoothly - did some quick tests in the areas most affected by the changes - but if anyone finds a problem let me know. SC
  20. afaik, people have had some success modifying ATI4600Controller.kext and adding the device ID (0x954F1002) Select "Show Package Contents". Check if the info.plist shows the Graphic Card PCI ID of ATI 4350 model . If its not there add it, then save the plist and install the edited kext with Kext Wizard. Hopefully someone with more experience than me will weigh in here, but I think that's worth a shot anyway. SC
  21. Ok, we are finally back on the upgrade path. The forum is now running the very latest version of IPB. More good stuff on the way soon. SC
  22. http://incrediblethings.com/tech/angelbird-cf-cards-fastest-durable-memory-cards/ Dedicated data recovery team at Angelbird if things go wrong, and they will even put your logo on them if you ask. Anyone have experience using these? Perform as expected? Worth the price? SC
  23. I have been debating whether to unhide this or not, and I think I agree with noname. I have tested the mega.nz link and the download went fine. Unhiding article now. SpecialCircumstances
  24. The background shows insanely mac but he says osx86 - so sort of a mention ^^
