  1. Hello, I have an Amd Athlon II quad core processor. I can boot into MacOS 10.6 using ModCD (based on Chameleon RC5 r726. However, when I try booting MacOS from the Chameleon bootloader that is installed on the OS, my computer keeps restarting. The bootloader starts up without a problem, but a soon as it gets to the loading circle on MacOs boot screen the computer restarts. Can anyone explain why this is happening, and how I can fix it? Many thanks! With kind regards, Corbin P.S. If I can remember correctly, I believe the error is a CPU halted error.
  2. That didn't work either. Incase it helps, my computer has an AMD processor.
  3. What do you mean by "Install it on the old installation"? Are you talking about reinstalling Mac OS, or what?
  4. I'm dual booting Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6.7. I have Chameleon RC5 (I've tried r699, r7xx, and r750) installed on my Mac partition. I have used EasyBCD to add Mac OS to the boot entry. The only thing that shows up is the Apple boot screen without the loading circle below the Apple logo. When I ran it in verbose I didn't see any text on the screen. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? By the way, Modbin's ModCD and the Empire EFI bootloaders work. I would also like to use {censored}'s nVidia drivers because I have a GeForce GTS450 graphics card. Thanks for all of your help. Corbin
  5. The file is extracted as the name "AppleNForceATA_Snow" should I rename it to "AppleNForceATA"? Does it even matter what the kext is named?
  6. Today I installed Mac OS 10.6.3 retail on my PC using AppliArt's tutorial (http://www.kexts.com/desktops/9746-guide-os-x-10-6-amd.html), but my USB devices are not being detected; They don't show up in the System Profiler or Finder. I've tried installing kexts, and that doesn't help either. It's possible I could be installing them wrong. Can someone help me fix this problem? Thanks in advance! I have a HP Pavilion p6210y with a Galaxy GeForce GTS 450 graphics card. By the way, I have not made any modifications to the original Mac OS bootloader or kernel. With friendly greetings./Mit freundlichen Grüssen. Corbin
  7. Thanks for this guide. I was about to give up with Mac OS. I had tried almost everything, and when I saw this it looked promising. I tried it and the install was successful. Now, I need your help with the video card, sound, and maybe network (if possible). I have a nVidia GeForce GTS 450, but I can't get it working. I've also had no luck with the audio. My sound card is a ALC 888S. Finally, I highly doubt I can get internet working. I have a Linksys WUSB100 wireless adapter and a Linksys AE1000 wireless adapter. Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks! With friendly greetings/Mit freundlichen Grüssen. Corbin. P.S. I forgot to mention that USB devices aren't recognized.
