1. Hello guys, I'll been trying for three years now to get an legit version of Mac OS X running properly without no problems on my rig. My biggest problem is that my BIOS do not have an AHCI SATA mode. The only work around I seen is with a Dell Inspiron 530 DSDT, I don't know how to get this or what it dose. I really need help I have a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop Specs CPU: Intel Pentium Dual E2200 @2.20 GHz MotherBoard: Dell 0G679R Chipset: P35/G33/G31 BIOS: 1.0.16 4 GB of DDR2 RAM I have installed a Radeon HD 4350 graphics card I have a 250 GB SATA Disk Drive that will only be running the Mac OS X
2. I have the hazard distro of Snow leop[ard 10.6.6i installed. I got it to boot, and got my ALC275 audio working, but it doesnt recognize my ethernet network card. i used a modified kext i found online to make it see a ethernet card, but it says cable is unplugged. I have a Sony Vaio VPCF13YFX with an intel i7 740QM and an nvidia geforce 425 m graphics card. The board seems to be custom as it has intel high def audio and realtek hi def audio, but people have said it is just ALC275 audio and not very custom. I have mac osx booting froma 40 GB partiton using chamelion rc5 and win7. Is there any way i can make thse devices work: ----------------------------------------- Network Adapter Intel? Centrino? Advanced-N 6250 AGN Hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0087&SUBSYS_13018086&REV_5E Network Adapter Marvell Yukon 88E8057 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller Hardware ID PCI\VEN_11AB&DEV_4380&SUBSYS_907A104D&REV_10 Video: Driver Description NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M Hardware ID PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DF0&SUBSYS_907A104D&REV_A1 --------------------------------------------------------------- I have installed mac osx cuda drivers but i am not sure how i know it recognizes my card, it doesnt really show in system profiler. I have also tried to change vender and model id's in the yukon2 kext (hope ity would use a similar architecture for networking) but to no avail. I had to use a kext somebody suggested online and am still unsure what they did to get it to "see" me having an ethernet card. I cannot get it to recognize that it has a cable plugged into it. Do you think a DSDT patch would help? And how would i go about doing that without flashing my bios?

4. "The resolution is perfect, but the launchpad animations and the notification center animations are really laggy. The launchpad takes a few seconds so load and with no animation at all... and the NotifCent is glitching with red kinda squares in it. Minimizing/closing/opening animations work." "It means you got no full QE/CI support." I have a 1GB Gigabyte Geforce 210. This is exactly what happens to me. The only difference is that this person had Intel HD Graphics 3000. I deleted my Nvidia/NVDA/ATI kexts to install Mountain Lion and don't use a DSDT. In previous experiences on Snow Leopard a DSDT stuffed it all up but maybe I did something wrong? I've so far tried an EFI String and enabling it with OSX86 Tools.

8. Hi. Could someone help me out with patching a DSDT for my system? Here are the specs; Motherboard: Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Graphics: MSi GeForce 9400 GT 1GB Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz RAM: 4GB DDR2 800MHz I'm running a retail version of OS X Lion Thx, alphagamer1903 visit Technobot for the latest tech updates!
9. Hello, I have recently got my hackintosh laptop running and pieced everything together besides my fan issue. When starting the laptop the fan kicks on during the boot process and never stops. I have tried numberous things involving the SSDT and DSDT even boot strings. Non have seemed to matter and it is probably because I have no idea what I'm doing. I would really appreciate some assistance on getting my fan working normally. My laptop is a Dell Vostro 3450 The laptop is running 10.8 The only specs I know off the top of my head Intel HM67 chipset Intel i5 processor Intel HD graphics 3000 8gb RAM 500gb HDD If anybody needs further details or have questions please feel free to ask. I'd love to have this issue revolved so I can begin to use my laptop to its fullest.
10. I got fusion drive working and got Chameleon to boot fusion drive after some terminal command. It seems you need to put extra folder in both boot OS X partition so my question is: When you edit DSDT or change plist, do you still have to run command to copy extra folder on those partition?
11. Hello all- I have a new copy of Mountain Lion installed on my build, and everything installed like a charm except for audio, youtube/flash video (freeze after ~5 seconds), and the boot time is around 2 minutes. The install was very easy and I only needed to run the PCIRoodUID=0 to get it going. I don't have a DSDT file for my P6T and all the ones I have found through Google are for Lion or SL. Does anyone have a DSDT that will work for an ASUS P6T (It does not seem to be required, though it might help with my issues)? I have also tried numerous ktexts and Voodoo to try and get audio/flash working and speed up boot, but nothing so far.... Any ideas on that would be helpful as well. My build: ASUS P6T (not delux, premium, SE etc... Just P6T) GTX 285 2GB RAM i7 920 12 gigs OCZ Gold RAM WD Caviar Black drives Thank you!!!
12. I have working DSDT but the only thing that doesn't work is my PCI slot which I attached USB expansion card in. It works fine when booted but doesn't wake up after sleep. All other port, PCI-E wakes up except that two PCI slot. I've tried to patch DSDT in PEX3 (that is what I see in ioregistry), but no luck. Can someone help? Thanks. I've attached DSDT here and it is PEX3 that I am trying to get it fixed. DSDT-GP-Full.aml.zip

Hi I have the intel desktop board http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17374/eng/DG41MJ_TechProdSpec.pdf in a 'icubes evo' with a celeron dual core 3.0ghz processor , 2gb corsair ram The pc is really fast except when I use apps such as launchpad which sem to be graphics heavy , Im lucky its not causing panics or shutdowns but its painfully slow and dosent work properly , this is the same for flash , all the boxes flash. Can someone make a kext and guide for me ? They may even be one out there I'm not brilliant at this so any help is welcome OS : Mountain Lion U{censored} method , still using USB as boot loader (chimera) Thanks keir

18. Hello everyone, I installed ML on my ASUS X64VG and it works almost perfectly (except VGA-out for example). Now I'm looking for a DSDT that matches my system to fix these few things... 19. I cannot seem to find a dsdt for this motherboard any where, can some one help me? Ati sapphire HD 4850 Graphic card, Pentium D, 3000 mhz processor.
20. I recently posted a thread about how my trackpad doesn't work. I fixed that by using the retail version of mac os lion. However in order for me to have wifi i have to use a dsdt given by this guide Lenovo B570 - InsanelyMac Forum So without it i wont be able to have wifi, I dont know how to approach this. When I move the dsdt over to the extra folder I have wifi but it seems it disabled the trackpad and in the system settings it says no trackpad found. I am a noob at all of this. The only other hackintosh I did was for an old dell d610. I dont know how to delete the other thread. Thanks
21. Hello people, I am really happy to say that thanks to the hackint0sh community I have got most of the hardware working on my Sony Vaio VPCEB3M1E . Unfortunately though there's still some pieces of the puzzle that arent working, which are sleep, brightness control, and probably power management isn't working properly either, since I have a major battery drain with OSX. I have been told I need a DSDT patch, but unfortunately I wasn't been able to find a DSDT patch for a motherboard with the same specs or close to mine. Needless to say that I have no idea where to begin with DSDT editing since I have never really messed with it, though I'd like to understand at least the basic. 22. I have managed to install Lion on my Ultrabook and was wondering what DSDT I need and how I can find out what motherboard I have. Here is the link to my system specs. S3-951-6646 | Product Model Also if I have the driver files is there a way to manually install them? I have been a mac user switched to windows/ubuntu but miss my mac os. Thanks for any help given.
23. Hi all! This is my first post on these forums and I'm gonna try and include as much detail as I can as the more I provide the easier it'll make it for you to help me. Trying to install Lion on this system. My specs are: Asus P8Z68-V LX Motherboard Intel Core i5 2500K Processor XFX Radeon 6870 1GB Graphics Card 16GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM 640GB SATA Hard Drive I can install using the U{censored} method over at {censored}.com and I can then update to 10.7.2 using the combo update (don't want to update to 10.7.3 yet as I use Pro Tool, Final Cut Pro etc and want to ensure compatability before upgrading). I can then boot into the system using the U{censored} USB stick. I can also patch the DSDT using DSDTEditor and the Asus P8Z68-V patch from Maldon's site. I can use MB{censored} 4.2.1 then using the UserDSDT patch and System Utilities. This then allows the system to boot on it's own. However, I have no sound or network. I can get network using Lnx2Mac. But I can't get sound. Also sleep nor USB is working (but I'm gonna try the recently posted USB solution on here). I also want to use dual monitor, but only the top DVI on the 6870 is working. Using GraphicsEnabler=yes, the 6870 is identified correctly. Using 'no' it's identified as a 6xxx and the second DVI output still doesn't work. Anyone able to help me with: * Audio * Sleep * Dual monitor output from 6870 I think I then almost have a fully usable Hack. Thanks all for your help!
