I just got a new laptop Acer 571p-6642 with Intel core i5 3337u 1.8Ghz Ivy Bridge 6GB DDR3-PC3-12800 500GB Sata Hard Drive Intel HD4000 Bios Ver. 2.17 I download iAtkos ML2 and used virtualbox with iAtkos ML2 installed to erase and format my 16Gb usb drive. I used clone copier to move .dmg to the usb and then installed chameleon to allow the usb to boot. I don't have much settings in my bios, Only Sata mode: AHCI and I run UEFI for windows and switched it to Legacy boot to install iAtkos ML2 on my laptop. It ran fine until I rebooted which displayed "You computer must restart" I then restarted into -v to see what was wrong and displayed some CPU Error 0x3 Unknown cpu and also something along with cpu power. I can only boot into Safe Boot -x which loads perfect with only ethernet working. Anyway I can get my computer working normal? Sorry I am a little new but more experienced in windows OS

The -f flag gets me all the way to the voice over speach , but then the whirlpool logo stops spinning and nothing happens after that. Adding the -v flag with the -f flag shows the text below and also gets to the voice over speech. ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start waitForService(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment) timed out Transcript Offline - Buffer Pool Allocate [18100] failed DSMOS has arrived The acpi=off -v -f shows the same text as above. I have the graphics set to uma from bios and have the wireless lan support disabled. Specs: CPU : i7 2670QM GPU : AMD Radeon 7690 RAM : 8 GB Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  8. Okay I had iATKOS S3 V2 installed onto my PC. Then I tried to update from 10.6.3 to 10.6.8 and I get kernel panic and stuff. So I said no big deal and I went to reinstall iATKOS. Now when I try to install it (I format the hard drive and everything) I get a yellow triangle at the end saying "Installation failed." And like 4 minutes before the installation in suppose to end this happens. Is there a fix to this? My specs: MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 CPU: AMD FX-6100 Six-Core processor RAM: 8192MB HDD: 1 320GB HD, 1 1000GB HD, 1 2000GB HD
  9. Can someone help me, how to configure the BIOS and customization to get it work? I installed iAtkos ML2 (10.8.2), but it just freezes while booting (in verbose mode it stoppes at detecting ethernet address), so I think, that it's the settings of my BIOS or maybe the customization. DELL 7520 CPU: Intel Core i5-3210M (2.5GHz/3.1GHz, 3MB Cache, 64-bit, 22nm, 35W) VGA: Ati Radeon HD7730m, Intel HD Graphics 4000 2x4 GB DDR3 Memory
  10. Hello, I'm new to the Hackintosh scene and I've been trying to install ML2 to my pc, here are the specs: Mobo: ASUS P5Q-SE CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 RAM: 4GB PCU: GeForce 9500GT Yeah, so, I've been trying to install ML2 to this pc via USB. I did exactly what it says on this video:iATKOS - How to make a bootable iATKOS ML2 USB Drive - Mac only - YouTube I got my USB ready using my Powerbook G4 (Leopard 10.5.8 installed). I have never installed Mac on my PC. So, I got the iAtkos file, checked the md5 of it and got the original bootloader from the website and I got the USB ready. I then went to BIOS and I set to AHCI and I put the USB to primary boot, I don't have a UEFI mobo. So, here's where the problem comes, I rebooted my PC and then when it tries to boot the USB, nothing comes up only a black screen with a white line blinking. I have left my PC for more than 5 hours yet it still hasn't left that black screen with the white blinker on it. Have I done something wrong? I am eager to install Mac on my Computer, I don't care which as long as it's working. PS: It took my 2-3 hours to restore the ML2 on my USB.
  11. Hola! Gracias!
  12. Hello osx86-Community, i'd successfully installed iAtkos ML2 on my external HDD. I tried to install Hackintosh a few times but never successful.. Now it was :-) All is running fine. Now i wanted to put in the external hdd into my computer as second SATA HDD (first one is windows 8). If i do so, my hackintosh do not boot up... it hangs while booting and shows something like this: dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID"1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key> after it, it will repeat "Still waiting for root device". Whats going wrong? If i put the HDD back into the external case and plug it into usb it works fine Im happy that it works, but it would be fine when i were able to use it interal.. Hope you can help me.. Thanks a lot. 16. Hello everyone, It has been 10 days i am trying to install the iATKOS S3 V2 and i succeeded as well, with NO CD or USB , i managed to get into the Installation screen with flags GraphicsEnabler=No busratio=17 -x -v , when i am in the setup , my track-pad wasn't working so i used the keyboard to do everything, i was having a 500 GB of HDD with 4GIGs of RAM, on the hard drive the first 2 partitions were 1: Windows, 2: Data and the third was than formatted for MAC, i didn't knew exactly which Kernels would work, so i needed help here, anyway i installed it hoping it will work, on next reboot i would have to use my iB{censored} USB to boot into the Mac, it booted but hung on the Apple logo screen and even the -x -v flags didn't helped, can somebody guess what i was actually missing? I really need help in here! Specs: Dell Inspiron N5110 (15R) Intel Core i5 2430M @ 2.40Ghz (2nd Gen. 17. This is my first week in hackintoshing, so I hope the experts here could help me I started with downloading VMWare Workstation with a ML vmx on my Acer 4820TG, in order to create a bootable usb containing iAtkos ML2 by using Carbon Copy Cloner. After it finishes, I plugged it in into my Dell N5110 (specs below). I followed the steps as shown by ahsansmiles in http://www.osx86.net/10-5-leopard/14022-dell-inspiron-n5110-iatkos-s3_v2.html. The installation was flawless, but afterwards I got a boot0 error, if I do not plug the USB drive in, which was no problem as I know I can install Chimera as soon as I get into ML2. However, after using the following boot flags in various combinations: GraphicsEnabler=no (always used) UseKernelCache=no cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1 -v (always used) -f -x -s I am always stuck at various stages of the boot, and if I do not use -v it will simply show me the please restart your computer screen. Any idea where I have gone wrong or missing any steps?
  18. Alright, so I posted about a day ago about not being able to get the resolution to work. I have since figured out that the resolution does indeed work, but I'm not sure how to get it to work. When I booted into the OS, the screen was black, but I had a feeling it was working so I used the shortcut keys to take a screen shot, and what do I know, the resolution was perfect! Here's my dilemma, I'm not sure how to get the screen to boot correctly and not into the black screen that it always does. I'm 100% positive the resolution is compatible now, it's just a matter of getting past this one minor error. Any help at all would be amazing, thanks in advance! BTW I am using Intel HD 3000 Graphics, and iAtkos L2 updated to 10.7.4.

  24. Hey, I have a PC with a Windows 8, and now I want to install Mac OS X (in special Mountain Lion or Lion if I can, but Snow Leopard is good too). I have AMD Phenom X4 9650 2.3 GHZ, 8 GB RAM, ATI 7770 1GB, I want to know if I can install one of these version of mac on my system. I tried iAtkos ML but when I insert the USB into PC my pc got frozen. And I thoght anyway there is a kext for AMD but maybe only for some AMD, mine is pretty old and I think don't work, and I don't know how to insert a kext. I tried Lacedaemon's method (http://acert0sh.weebly.com/portal.html) , I asked him and he said that work on my pc (Snow Leopard), and I have a problem, I asked him but he didn't respond, He didn't visited the forum from 4 days. I got retail version of Snow Leopard (10.6.3), and I'm stuck at "Step 1: Installation" at 6 and 7 point. After I drag OS in Source and USB at Destination I hit restore and I wait, after finish, I can see Installation Wizzard on my USB (I can make a video if you can't understand), is something like installation is replaced on my usb and chamereon, and some files are erased. What is wrong? Why I didn't make step 9 "9. uncheck erase Destination (duh!)" ? I don't have this option on disk utility (Lion 10.7.5) I hope you would understand what I wanted to say, if not, I can make a short video. Please reply. Thanks. Or there are a method for my pc to install Lion or ML tell me please.
  25. Hello my friends, I successfully installed iAtkos ML2 on my PC: GA H77-DS3H Intel Core i5 3570 (HD 6970, I also tried with onboard Ivybridge GPU) 8 GB DD3 Ram I used Windows 7 to burn iAtkos on a DVD. I managed to install Mountain Lion without any complications, but when I restarted my PC once it was done, I wasn't able to boot it properly. It always stucks at the spinning cirlce with the Apple logo on top of it. So I tried some bootflags that I found on the internet (without actually knowing what I was doing there). None of it worked for me, except booting in Safe Mode (with "-x" boot flag)... Please help me guys, I'm desperated and don't know what to do :-)
