  1. Hi ? This is my notebook:??http://www.asus.com/...specifications/ Asus N56DP A10 4600M 2.3Ghz 4GB Ram AMD Radeon HD 7730M & AMD Radeon HD 7660G 500GB HDD USB 3.0 And a installed windows 7 on it. I used myHack 3.3.1 and Mountain Lion 10.8.3 and made a bootable USB. Every thing is ok and i can see installation with GraphicsEnabler=No flag. I want to install OS X?on a partition,?without losing any data?and without format whole Hard Disk and without installing windows 7 again. Now, i format a partition to HFS+ type. What should i do now?
  2. Okay so I'm working on my first Hackintosh and I've come to a bit of a problem. I've been following this guide to install Lion on my AMD machine even though im installing Mountain Lion (http://www.macbreaker.com/2013/07/a-look-at-amd-hackintoshing-mac-os-x.html) . When ever I use MyHack it always "fails to retrieve install.mpkg". So instead i made a bootable usb with DiskMakerX and ran U{censored} with it. I copy my AMD kernel to the root of my USB as well as the MB{censored} Mountain Lion folder too. It installs correctly but I cant figure out how to replace the original kernel with my AMD kernel. ? I've tried what the guide said to do, (rm /Volumes/"Name of hard drive"/mach_kernel), but i get the error saying that its a "read-only" file system. If i boot into single user mode i can sudo remove files from my bootable flash drive but i'm not too sure if i can remove files from other devices since im booting from the USB. I've tried pluggin the HDD in a SATAtoUSB and changing permissions of the files but I still dont have "Permissions" to do so. I cant boot up from the HDD once the install is done, since it has the wrong kernel. ? ? Am i missing something? ? ? im booting from flags: npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No -v ? ? ? and here is the amd kernel. and i am renaming it mach_kernel when replacing the original http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3694-amd-108x-kernel/ ? ? P.S. sorry if this has been posted before. I've been searching everywhere for it but couldnt get an answer. ? ? ? Specs: Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 Proc: AMD FX-8350 RAM: 16GB 1600MHz HDD putitn Mac on: 250GB Western Digital Scorpion Blue Flash Drive: 16GB Scandisk Cruzer Graphics Card(s): 2 x Asus HD7770 2GB DDR5 Crossfired ? ? Edit: ?[solved] ? Don't?know why it?wouldn't let me change the kernel but i reinstalled Mountain Lion?on the USB and reinstalled it on my PC and?everything worked fine.
  3. Hi, I'm currently running a Windows 7 x64 PC with: 8GB DDR3 Ram AMD FX 4170 GPU AMD Radeon HD 7870 CPU 1TB HDD (Windows 7) 150GB HDD (Blank) ? Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard I am aware that getting OSX on an AMD machine is not an easy task, but can it be done with my setup? I am currently running OSX 10.8.3 in VMWare which is OK but lags a fair bit and lacks any kind of 3d acceleration and would like to be able to dual boot it natively alongside windows on the 150GB HDD. Thanks?
  4. When I was on 10.8, I managed to get audio working by running MB{censored} 4.6.1 and installing these two kexts Drivers & Bootloaders>Kext & Enablers>Audio>Realtek ALC8xx>Unified Device Injector>ALCxxHDA for Legacy ALC888 and ALC888b/887 Drivers & Bootloaders>Kext & Enablers>Audio>Realtek ALCxx>AppleHDA Rollback But after I updated to 10.8.3, I lost audio. I tried reinstalling the same kexts but still getting no audio. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, for those looking to get ML up and running on this mobo, try these instructions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WbIOawSY4f-67-I1qfzsuobxlWZ0xcA1fGDsTRzCrwM/edit Unfortunately, as mentioned, 10.8.3. doesn't have audio and the guide hasn't been updated. Thanks.

  6. After 3 days of searching far and wide on the internet for solutions to enable my GTX660 SC upgrade to function on 10.8.3, I have become unsuccessful. I am left with no choice but to ask for the forums' help. I need to know whether or not the (3072MB version) card is supported, and if so what is the best route to go about enabling that card to run. These are following steps I have done so far: 1) With my GTX480 card in place, I installed 10.8.3 2) I installed NVIDIA CUDA drivers (released on 3/15/13) 3) I attempted to install NVIDIA 304.00.05f02 drivers, but the installer said that my current drivers were already up-to-date. 4) I then switched out my GTX480 for the 660 in my hack. Every time I try to run off the GTX660, I get a kernel panic stating: "System uptime in nanoseconds" regardless of what boot flag I use, i.e.: -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x3000 cpus=1. I even get the same message kernel panic as soon as the Apple logo screen shows up. I need to know what current market graphics card is proven to work in 10.8.3 because I am eager to buy it and return my current 660 back. I am in the market of getting anything up to a GTX 670 and only if it is proven to work in 10.8.3 without much trouble. If anybody out there has any knowledge of what direction I should take I would gladly oblige. Thanks
Vriendelijke groet Coolmen815
  8. Upgrade from 10.8.2-10.8.3 has left me with an unrecognized GPU. Worked perfectly in 10.8.2 with edited id's (0x68f9) AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext+ATI5000Controller.kext. Now, in verbose, both kexts are failing to patch. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
