This is an updated version of http://www.osx86.net/files/file/1934-voodoohda-2-7-3-edited-for-via-vt1708s/?st=10#commentsStart Make sure to change your <key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> <string>XxXXXXXXXX</string> to yours or else it will not work. Things to note before saying it's not working: Skippy/stuttery/jumpy audio! Try calculating your busratio and then use the boot flag "busratio=xx" xx being your busratio. My busratio is 14.5 so mine would look like "busratio=145" Theres static in the background! Open up Audio Midi Setup (Applications>Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup) and change the format from 44100Hz to another. The kext isn't loading! Make sure that you have changed the string for IOPCIPrimaryMatch to your own! It's still not working! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/267905-voodoohda-common-problems/ If this works on older version of OS X let me know and I'll update the Compatibility list. I have been trying to fix the bug where you change both the rear mic, rear/front speaker with the slider. I recommend using the front Mic as it doesn't change with the volume slider.

  9. Hi there. I have a eMachines E732G laptop (Mavericks 10.9.4) with Intel Core i3-380M Processor, Radeon HD 5650 Graphic and a Realtek ALC272 Audio. I’ve installed VoodooHDA 2.8.6. Sound works 3 seconds after start playing music. I have to change the format in the audio-MIDI setup and then the sound works again a few seconds. If I chose 48000 Hz it works 3 seconds, 96000 - 2 seconds, 192000 Hz - about 1 second. I also noticed when I put my Laptop to sleep (hibernate mode 3) & wake it again, then sound works PERFECTLY. Please Help! Sorry for my English. mydump.txt info.plist.txt
  10. I wanted to edit my HDMI output on my hackintosh, but at the end I screwed my sound??. I made copy of my voodoo kext, but I accidentally deleted it when I wanted to apply AppleHDA (did not work, said no output devices found), so I decided to switch back to VoodooHDA, but than I realised that I accidentally deleted it. I tried every single one of them, but no one worked properly. ?I installed 2.8.5 (VoodooHDD ) and it gives me a sound but weird sound. Crackling, skipping... Can you please just check that attachment and see if you know what the problem is. Thanks? . ? ? P.S. I anyone wants to know what song is that it's Pharrell Williams - Happy. Zvuk00001.3gp.zip

  12. my notebook runs 10.9~10.9.2 perfectly except the sound card VIA VT1802P, which I check out from AIDA64, obviously there's no AppleHDA support for this card, but when I try the voodooHDA,the situation's like this: with the version over 2.7.3, it doesn't work at all, below 2.73, it works on 10.9, but occasionally there's a kernel panic and restarting. ? Can anybody offer me some help on this stuff?

  17. Hi all! I'm new in Hackintosh. I have created a pen with Mountain Lion using U{censored} and I have installed it in a Sony Vaio. In the beginning, all runs OK but wireless and audio don't work. I have searched a lot of information on the net and I get two conclusions. - One of them it's about the wireless card. Using System Info app I got the details of my hardware. The wireless network adapter is Atheros AR9485 and nobody can make it work. No problem, I bought an USB WiFi adapter which is compatible with Hackintosh. - The other issue is the Audio, my current problem. I have tried a lot of guides, tutorials and advices without good results. My Audio hardware by "System Info" app the following: Ven ID: 8086 Vendor: Intel Corporation Dev ID: 1c20 Device: 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller Class: Multimedia controller Subclass: Audio device But in Win7 with AIDA64 (old Everest) I get more details: Device description: Realtek ALC269 Device ID: 10EC-0269 (I think 0269 is the Dev ID and 10ec is the Ven ID) With this specs I looked for a lot of kext, with guides to modify it, etc. I was able to hear sound with Voodoo HDA kext 0.2.7.3 of MB{censored} 5.1.3 but I got random Kernel Panics when the system is going to boot. Can anyone help me with this?
  18. I have my ML system working, but with no audio. I downloaded the latest version of VoodooHDA.kext (2.7.3) and installed it. Now i am getting the following in my Console. I get the occasional snap and pop on the audio as well, but no actual sound. 19. Hey guys, I'm very new to Hackintosh-Scene and I'm now running Mac OS X 10.6.6 (64bit) on an MSI EX629 Notebook. I'm very happy with it, because absolutely everything is working fine (including things like webcam, HDMI-port and so on...). There's just one problem: The integrated microphone (located above the screen, left beside the webcam) does not work! It doesn't appear in the "Input"-tab of the audio-system-controls... The audio driver I'm using is the VoodooHDA 2.7.2 Thanks for any help Martin
  21. Hi everyone! Here's the issue I have with my laptop MSI EX720. After installing iAtkos L2 (Lion 10.7.2) everything work like a charm but no audio. The best I can get it's the sound control but without sound. Tries the AppleHDA ALC88x, it doesn't work. I've tried Voodoohda 2.7.3 and result as a kernel panic... I don't care about the HDMI, I just want to enable audio on this laptop... The computer has 4 speaker and a sub. If I could enable at least 2 of the 4 speaker, I would be happy. Thanks
  22. I decided to bring my old AMD Athlon machine from 10.5.8 up to 10.6.8 when the hard drive hiccuped and scrambled some of my system files. The install went plenty straight forward. I used a boot CD to get the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 install DVD running. Then, a combo update to 10.6.8 (v1.1, with Apple's audio fix) with the appropriate legacy kernel and kexts loaded from MB{censored} 3.9. I used DSDTPatcher, but I'm not sure the dsdt.aml is getting used. The latest build of Chameleon is installed for the bootloader. I briefly had sound working and then lost it. I went round and round trying different audio solutions until I figured out that if I turned off GraphicsEnabler (or didn't use NVEnabler kext) then VoodooHDA 2.7.2 would work (lesser versions are a bit scratchy). This box uses an SB600 chipset on the motherboard, and the ID for the audio appears to map to an ALC883. The graphics card is an nVidia 8400 GS. The problem is repeatable. If I put GraphicsEnabler=No in the plist for Chameleon, I get sound (but the video frame rate sucks). If I use GraphicsEnabler=Yes, I get full motion video but no sound (although all the controls are in the System Preferences panel and the audio device still shows up in DPCIManager). I've googled like crazy across the various forums, but haven't been able to find anybody else with such a problem. So, I'm finally posting to ask: - Has anybody seen this kind of thing before? - Does anybody know what could be a solution? - Are there other logs or operation outputs I should glean for clues? - Is there another forum that would be better to post this problem in? Thanks.
  23. Hey Guys, I installed VoodooHDA today and i noticed that the loudspeakers echo everything that my microphone recognizes. So when i speak something i can hear my voice over the loudspeakers -.- is it possible to fix annoying problem?
  24. I have installed Mac OSX Snow Leopard iAtkos S3 10.6.3 Ver.2 (Intel only) , I have a ga-p35-ds3 mb with 8 channels alc889a audio controller. On installation I checked for sound "voodoo hda". In the back panel (directly in mb) I have connected a 5.1 system, in the front pannel (from my case) I have connected my speakers. The speakers are ok, on win7 I have no problems with them. The sound works ok, the only problem is a annoying background rustling sound. How can I fix this? Anyone else had this problem? I turned to 0 the input gain from line-out (green rear) and the annoying sound vanished from my headphones. I have the problem with the annoying sound when I switch to my 5.1 system.
