  4. I have everything working but no wi-fi, Windows displays a Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4Ghz), and can not find any driver. Anybody can help me? Thank you.
  5. Hi, I am having tough time trying to make my WIFI card Atheros AR956X work on my ASUS X556U laptop, I tried many fixes but didn't work. I made it detectable but it still can't find any networks. Is there any way I can fix this ? I attached the gen_debug output debug_922.zip, you can find it from here : https://github.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug debug_922.zip
  6. Edit: Now WiFi working using Native IO80211Familly.kext. I add (copy and paste) PlugIns kext from other PlugIns kext Hai, I'm new here So I have N{censored} OSx 10.8.5 installed on my Laptop Acer Aspire 4738z with 2.0GHz Intel Pentium. For network, it had BCM557780 Gigabit Ethernet and Atheros AR9287 (AR5B97 on Windows). I two got kext downloaded (forgot where excatly from), IO80211Family.kext and IONetworkingFamily.kext. Installed use Kext Wizard, Rebuild System Kext Caches and reboot. On System Information-Hardware-Ethernet Cards it's look like OSX detect myEtherner Card. Even in PCI Card to, it show drive installed Yes. The problem is my WiFi is installed (on PCI Card information) but when clicked "Wi-Fi: No hardware installed". On DPCIManager-Model show information about Wireless Network Adapter (802.11 a/b/g/n), PCI List show correct Vendor and Device ID. This is info.plist from WiFi kext Can someone guide me to fix this.
  7. Successfully install all the kexts and ethernet is working like a charm but wifi is not detected.. 8. Hi, guys. I’m facing a problem with a wifi/bluetooth combo card. I bought this PCI-e 1X adapter and a BCM943224PCIEBT2 (BCM43224) card, which is a common module on Macbook Air models from 2010 up to 2012. The items were bought separately, and when they both arrived I installed on a PCIe slot of my machine running OSX 10.11.5 (El Capitan) and connected the mandatory micro usb port of the module on a USB port on the back of my Gigabyte motherboard using the provided cable. The wifi is fully recognised and works effortlessly and though the bluetooth module is present on the Preferences Pane and on OSX menu bar, it simply doesn’t recognise my Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard (they both are recognised by my Macbook Pro). I tried to make it recognise something else (an AirTracks bluetooth headphone), but it was to no avail. Strangely, there is a unknown device which appears on the bluetooth panel which I have no idea what it is (it is not mine for sure, it could be from a neighbour or it simply could be an error, since it doesn’t recognise my Apple devices which are in front of it). This unknown device is shown with the Magic Mouse icon, but it doesn’t connect too and it is not shown on the Magic Mouse portion of the Pref Pane. I installed Sierra and Mavericks on a separate partition to verify if it was not simply an El Capitan issue, but it worked the same way on both: wifi fully working, bluetooth present on Preferences Panel, but nothing is recognised. I also have installed both BrcmFirmwareData.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2 following the instructions here first on S/L/E then on Clover/Kexts/10.11 folder on EFI partition and things are the same. I’m already providing the System Information screenshots showing the wifi, bluetooth and USB Hub info for you to check what is possibly wrong here. My setup is made of an Intel i7 4770 on a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H with 16Gb of ram (2x8 HyperX modules) and OSX installed on a SanDisk SDSSDA240G. I’m using Intel onboard graphics. Can you guys help solve this issue? Thanks a lot!
  9. I recently built a custom Hackintosh, and am very pleased with everything EXCEPT for one major problem; I installed a TP-LINK Archer T9E PCI Express AC1900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter and for some reason, my Hackintosh simply cannot recognize this device at all. It is a huge issue to not have a wireless internet connection, especially since my work is almost entirely done online. Here is a list of the important hardware I am using to run macOS Sierra (10.12.2):-GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 Motherboard-Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz Processor-TP-LINK Archer T9E PCI Express AC1900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express AdapterI was under the impression that this wifi adapter was natively supported by macOS X, but apparently I was wrong. Perhaps there is something I need to do in the BIOS to enable PCIe compatibility? My motherboard is currently running the F5 BIOS software, fyi. I would love to get this problem resolved, so any help is much appreciated!
  10. Version 2.0.1

File Name: TL-WN725N_v2_USB_MacOS10.8 The TP-Link TL-WN723N USB WiFi has 3 versions: V1 - using the realtek chip RTL8188SU (source) V2 - using the realtek chip RTL8188CUS (source) V3 - using the realtek chip RTL8188EUS (source) This package was uploaded specifically for V3. To check your version, check the inscription on the silver contacts of the usb wifi itself. Should appear as FCC ID: TE7WN723NV3 Took me a day and several attempts before I stumbled onto this package. This package includes: Separate Wireless Network Utility app RTL8188EU kext (for TL-WN723N-V3 and TL-WN725N-V2) RTL8192SU / RTL8192CU kexts (I seriously don't know why these are present) NOTE: This package is really for TL-WN725N-V2 but works for the TL-WN723N-V3 too (since both use the same kext) PS: Since I had a tough day getting my TL-WN723N-V3 to work, i thought i'd upload this separately to save your time. Summary: This package will... Work for: TL-WN723N-V3 (has the required RTL8188EU kext) TL-WN725N-V2 (has the required RTL8188EU kext) NOT work for: TL-WN723N-V1 (missing RTL8188SU kext) TL-WN723N-V2 (missing RTL8188CUS kext) (NOTE: user AbdullahAlT3mimy, in his comments, mentioned that it worked for him) if nothing works then try your luck here: official realtek driver download link INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Extract 2. Install (next-next-next-next) 3. Restart 4. Plug-in the USB wifi and the Wireless Network Utility should automatically appear 5. Under Link Status, ensure the bottom right button reads "Radio Button Off" 6. Go to "Available Networks" tab and connect to the required wifi network (if the SSID is hidden, it will still appear but as a nameless network. Use common sense and your wireless networking experience/knowledge to guide yourself from here)
  11. I have just recently built my Hackintosh, and managed to get the sound working, and the wifi card working. The OS I am using is Mavericks and the boot system I am using is chameleon. I have searched for solutions on the web for kexts, solutions and fixes. I am struggling so badly with this one, and I get lost on the third step after downloading source files and a compiler of some sort, and not knowing what to do with it it all. Please help.
  12. Hey guys, actually I use an atheros AR9485 wifi board, but I saw it's not supported, should I change my wifi board? For what model? There's a way to get bluetooth too?

    Asus N76VZ workaround

Hello,? ? I'm trying to understand how to patch a DSDT with my Asus N76VZ. Until now, I used to boot with an already patched DSDT found a year ago, and I can't remember where. Maybe on?http://ukrainianiphone.com/ because I called it "russian_dsdt".? ? So I already applied a lot of patch but I can't get sleep and WiFi to work.? ? ? ? Here are the problems I got :? ? - When I click the sleep button from Apple's menu, it just turns off the screen and sound, but does nothing else (even the keyboard backlight doesn't turn off). If I press Fn+F1 (Sleep shortcut), sleep seems to work but when it should turn off the fan and the power button light. With exactly the same config but with the russian DSDT, Fn+F2 work OOB (except the GUI freeze at wake up, I can only move the mouse cursor) but it doesn't from Apple's menu (it just turns the screen and sound off). ? - WiFi (AR9285) work OOB with russian DSDT (if I patch the kext because it doesn't have the DSDT patch), but does not detect any network if I use my patched DSDT with AR9285 WLAN patch from RehabMan. WiFi seems to work and searching for available network but just not detect anything. I tried with and without DSDT patch, and with and without kext patch (and with both or without both, even if it's seems useless to me). ? ? ? About the WiFi, I really don't understand because both DSDT are identical for this device. I can't get what makes the difference in the russian DSDT because some parts are really differents, for exemple, the guy who write it used a OSDW method that check if the actual OS is darwin, and used it in a lot of method I haven't in my OEM DSDT/SSDTs. Here are the patches I applied to mine :? # ? [Graphics Patches]# ? ? —> [NVidia] Disable from _INI ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?(Disable Nvidia Card on startup)# ? ? —> [NVidia] Disable/Enable on _WAK/_PTS ? ? ? ?(Disable Nvidia Card on wake)# ? ? —> [intel] Rename GFX0 to IGPU ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?(Rename GFX0 to IGPU for better power management)# ? ? —> [intel] HD4000 High Resolution ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I also tried to apply the content of SSDTs (IDE0 and IDE1 methods and devices) but didn't change anything.?I'd really like to get them to work because my actual DSDT brings a lot of improvements over the russian, like 4 levels for keyboard backlight, or the Asus specific button to work, or the battery level. Also I'd be proud having my own working DSDT? ???Less important but if anyone could answer me, that would be awesome :?I found this post :?http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/297917-enabling-gt-650m-optimus-disabled-via-bios/ I already brick a laptop (Acer V3-771G) disabling the IGPU with a modded BIOS, two years ago (today, I'm sure it won't work anymore because I burn the screen, I thought maybe I just connected the display in the wrong way but the smoke that goes out of the screen confirms me I didn't? ). Today, I know that you only can deactivate if you have a muxed connection, but I'd like to know if N76VZ is also muxed ?? Or if anyone could tell me how to test it the safer I can ??I'm an experienced user, I already broke what I had to broke, and I won't make the same mistakes I'm learning computer science since 2 years and I love hacking on Linux and OS X, I learned a lot with hackintosh and DSDT andthis is why I'm trying to fully understand how to make a complete DSDT.?Hope I didn't made too spelling mistakes in this post, I'm French ?Thanks !? If needed, here are my specs :? Software :? - OS X Yosemite 10.10.3- Clover Bootloader (revision 3202) - UEFI laptop Hardware :? - Laptop : Asus N76VZ?- Graphics : Intel HD 4000 / NVidia 650M (Optimus)- Sound : ALC 663 - Touchpad : Elan touchpad V4 hardware- WiFi : AR9285- Bluetooth : AR3011 I joined some files :?- config.plist : my actual Clover's config?- untouched_dsdt.dsl : the DSDT just extracted from Linux with ACPIDump - patched_dsdt.dsl : the DSDT I extracted patched personally- russian_dsdt.aml : the DSDT found a year ago with google (seems to be for N56VZ which is very similar)files.zip

  17. My Lenovo L520 had a whitelist which stopped boot with the error: ? "1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card (1199/0218)" (or something similar) ? As the installed intel centrino wireless card did not work with OSX I bought a very cheap ( <5€ ) Atheros AR9285 mini pci card.? ? The site bios-mods.com has many solutions for problems like this. 22. hi all, ? a couple of week ago I was able to install Hackintosh-Mavericks 10.9.2 on a Samsung NP530U3B Ultrabook laptop. Thanks m.gbt for the guide on this forum (http://www.osx86.net/topic/20310-guide-uefi-mavericks-1092-on-samsung-np530u3b-laptop/) because after some issues it WORKED!? ? One hardware thing I did differently from the guide is that I replaced the original wifi card (not mackintosh compatible). In stead of using an WiFi USB ?adaptor, I bought and installed an?Atheros AR5B95 mini PCI-E adaptor and after installing the AirPortAtheros40.kext the WiFi worked.? ? But unfortunately, I keep on running into the same wifi-after-sleep problem over and over again: going into sleep-mode, it seems that the hardware is powering off the wifi card, since the small LED on the left-front side goes out and does nor re-light again after the system awakens. The system utility->network->wifi indicator is saying it is has status ‘on’ but is showing a yellow bulb. Turning wifi off and on again doe NOT solve the problem, it looks like the power-connection to the wifi adapter broke down and is not re-set after the awake. The LED on front is nor re-lightned and wifi does not work anymore. The system needs a shutdown and re-start to get wifi working again ? any ideas how to solve this? Caren

  25. Hi guys, I have attached my screenshot of my Wifi Whitelist here. I can only these wifi cards. I am currently using CLOVER efi as my boot loader. I was wondering that, lets say, I use one of the cards mentioned in the title of this thread as a replacement to my current intel centrino 1030n, can I get it to work using the fake-id within clover? I managed to even spoof my intel card into being recognised as a broadcom card but of course it won't work because there are no drivers for intel cards. However in case of broadcom tthere is support.? ? Can I spoof a 4727 to work as a 4233 or other working bcm cards using clover? anyone with any insight on this, please help me out. ? My whitelist as attached allows me only to use Broadcom 4727 and Atheros 5390/92. I want to spoof either the atheros into thinking its a 9285 or any other working wifi on osx is this possible?
