  5. Version Driver: Utility:

This is a new updated kext and utility directly from MediaTek for the MT7610U and MT7612U network chipset. This utility was updated and released on January 20th 2016 on MediaTek website. I have the Netgear A6210 AC1200-WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter and it works perfectly under OSX 10.11.6 with USB 3.0 and 5GHz networks being recognized. It should work for any card with one of those two chips. UPDATE 10/1/2016 I have had some serious trouble updating my system to macOS 10.12 Sierra but I have finally seemed to have gotten it working. When I have done a clean install and installing this package afterwards, It didn't seem to work. However after updating a working copy of El Capitan to Sierra with this package already installed, it seems to work. So as of this post, this same package does work under macOS 10.12 Sierra but you might have some trouble like I have until mediatek performs their own official update. UPDATE 10/26/16 I have finally figured out what is going on with this installer package. When you run this package as is, it will not install the kext on macOS sierra. It will install the wireless utility and all associated files but not the actual kext. I have included the kext as a standalone as well. Install the Kext with kext utility then run the installer pkg. Reboot and you will have a perfectly working USB wireless stick. Confirmed working macOS 10.12.1 RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext.zip

  17. Hi everyone, my laptop is Lenovo G470 which is listed in top ten of laptop to install Hackintosh here: The Best Hackintosh Laptops of 2012 - For Mountain Lion After setup and install more kexts, almost seems working perfectly except wireless card. My wireless is: Broadcom BCM4313, Vendor ID = 0x14e4, Device ID = 0x4727, identified by "Systeminfo version 0.5" downloaded here: http://www.osx86.net/view/1479-system_info.html I've read info in here: http://legacy.{censored}.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Chipset_Database to see no support for any OS X wifi feature. I've download some kexts here: http://www.osx86.net/view/2608-wifi_drivers-kexts_not_proven_to_work.html and it didn't work. I've read info here: 802.11 Linux STA driver | Broadcom to see capable of driver for linux kernel. So, please tell me the final solution for this problem: can BCM4313 wireless work with Hackintosh? if yes, how to do it? Best regard!

  24. Hello all! So back in March 2012 sometime I installed iDeneb Hackintosh onto my Toshiba laptop but using a spare hard drive, I didn't stick with it and went back to my original hard drive with Windows on it. Now the otherday my hard drive stopped working so I am using the one with iDeneb on it. I updated it using "Software Update..." and I am running version 10.5.8! It all works fine, I have my iTunes & Skype etc but there are a few problems I have encountered and I will list them below. If anyone could help me with my problem that'd be great! Baring in mind this is my only working hard drive though, and as a student I am very low on money! List of problems: - Cannot connect wirelessly (Assuming it's the network card not being compatible, but what can I do about this?) - 3.5mm Audio and mic jacks not working - Minecraft (Crashes, I have seeked help on their forum and they believe it is the display drivers that are out of date, how do I update them on a Hackintosh? I have tried "Software Update..." but it finds no drivers!) My specs: Toshiba Satellite L300-13R 2GB RAM 1.87 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor 120GB HDD I believe these are the only problems I have encountered as of yet, I will edit this post (If I can, this is my first post on this forum) if anymore creep up! Please post for more information if needed! Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help you offer!
