  1. Hi, guys. I’m facing a problem with a wifi/bluetooth combo card. I bought this PCI-e 1X adapter and a BCM943224PCIEBT2 (BCM43224) card, which is a common module on Macbook Air models from 2010 up to 2012. The items were bought separately, and when they both arrived I installed on a PCIe slot of my machine running OSX 10.11.5 (El Capitan) and connected the mandatory micro usb port of the module on a USB port on the back of my Gigabyte motherboard using the provided cable. The wifi is fully recognised and works effortlessly and though the bluetooth module is present on the Preferences Pane and on OSX menu bar, it simply doesn’t recognise my Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard (they both are recognised by my Macbook Pro). I tried to make it recognise something else (an AirTracks bluetooth headphone), but it was to no avail. Strangely, there is a unknown device which appears on the bluetooth panel which I have no idea what it is (it is not mine for sure, it could be from a neighbour or it simply could be an error, since it doesn’t recognise my Apple devices which are in front of it). This unknown device is shown with the Magic Mouse icon, but it doesn’t connect too and it is not shown on the Magic Mouse portion of the Pref Pane. I installed Sierra and Mavericks on a separate partition to verify if it was not simply an El Capitan issue, but it worked the same way on both: wifi fully working, bluetooth present on Preferences Panel, but nothing is recognised. I also have installed both BrcmFirmwareData.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2 following the instructions here first on S/L/E then on Clover/Kexts/10.11 folder on EFI partition and things are the same. I’m already providing the System Information screenshots showing the wifi, bluetooth and USB Hub info for you to check what is possibly wrong here. My setup is made of an Intel i7 4770 on a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H with 16Gb of ram (2x8 HyperX modules) and OSX installed on a SanDisk SDSSDA240G. I’m using Intel onboard graphics. Can you guys help solve this issue? Thanks a lot!

Bluetooth Re-Enabler after 10.8.5 Update The 2 kexts (IOBluetoothHIDDriver.kext & IOBluetoothFamily.kext) are from OSX 10.8.2 with version 4.1.2, they fixed my bluetooth problem for me in OSX 10.8.5. After last 10.8.5 update these 2 kexts where updated to version 4.1.7, this gave several issues with my internal Bluetooth device on my Lenovo T61 ThinkPad. I wasn't able to use Bluetooth in OSX anymore!! But these 2 kexts from 10.8.2 worked fine for me! Drag and drop these two kexts into Kextutility or install manually.. Reboot.. Good hack!! ProtocolX™

  6. Hi there! ? I'm trying to make a Hackintosh from my notebook. So far, I have launched N{censored} Mavericks, but I haven't updated it yet to the latest version (10.9.5, I think). With GE=Yes and IntelCapriFB=3, my HD4000 works.? ? CPU: i7-3630QM IGPU: Intel HD4000 (Capri) GPU: Radeon HD7670M 2GB Chipset: Intel HM76 (Chief River) RAM: 8GB LAN: Realtek RTL8168/8111 Gigabit-LAN (10/100/1000MBit)? WLAN: Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter (b\g\n) WLAN2: TP-Link TL-WN725N V2 (working) BT: 4.0 Bluetooth? ? What's not working: Bluetooth (system shows it as Enabled, but I can't even find my Hackintosh with my phone);Power Management (not using AICPUPM nor NullCPUPM);Internal WiFi (but I'm pretty sure it won't work, so I'm using TP-Link);Discrete GPU (AFAIK my BIOS is locked, so I can't turn off IGPU; if I'm wrong - tell me more about it);Function keys (kind of; when I turn the volume up with Fn keys, it's going up, but even when I stop pressing the keys, it constantly volumes up);Display brightness (I don't even have a brightness bar in System Preferences);Sleep (instant wake up, keyboard and touchpad not working, random reboot);Webcam (I mean - it's working, but it's very dark; need some control panel to increase brightness and contrast);? My boot log: PasteBin ? 7. So I'm trying to install N{censored}'s?Mavericks 10.9 in VirtualBox 4.3.14?on Windows 7, but I really have no idea what I'm doing and can't even get to the welcome screen while trying to install OS X. I was using the macbreaker guild, but I got stuck at the apple logo. When I boot using "-v" I get the lovely Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport error. I'm attaching a screenshot of that. Thanks to google, I've found a few suggestions for other things to boot with, but none so far have helped. So any suggestions are completely welcome! ? Since I'm using virtualbox, I have no idea of my pc stats are relevant, but here they are: os: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 cpu: Intel? Core i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 cores) mobo: MSI?Z87-G43 (MS-7816) video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 ? Thank you for reading my post and please let me know if there's any other info I should give. ? EDIT: Sorry for posting in post installation, I miss-clicked. If someone could move this over the correct section that would be great.
  8. Hi all, first off thanks to everyone on these forums I almost have a 100% working hackintosh but have a last hurdle that is bugging the hell out of me and I can't work it out. Would greatly appreciate some help ? Now the issue is getting all of the USB's detected and working. I have played around with Boot Flags and BIOS options and am nowhere closer to solving this. ? I have 4 USB ports on my laptop (series 7 Ivy Bridge i5 chipset) the two on the left are USB3 and the two on the right are USB2, now my camera, card reader & bluetooth all run off of what I assume is another USB hub on the motherboard. ? Now I can get all 4 USB ports working but no camera or I can get 3 USB ports and the camera working which is what I've settled on right now so I can still use FaceTime & Skype, I have tried USBBusFix=Yes & EHCIHard=Yes and neither seem to fix the problem. I have an unlocked BIOS on my laptop so have access to a lot of advanced USB chipset options which I've attached a picture off. ? Other people that have installed on the Y580 have had the card reader & bluetooth working but I am having no luck. I need it to at least be detected under the USB section before I can even start attempting to get it working with kexts etc ? Can anyone help please. ?

  11. Hi, ? So I installed mavericks on my laptop (Asus X54C) with clover bootloader and everything went well until the first boot from the hard drive. First boot took quite long time so I booted again with -v to see whats wrong. Boot stops at IOBluetoothHCI.. and I know this is not related to bluetooth but the next step after that: graphics. I know this has been asked before but no proper solution has been posted and after trying to add fakesmc.kext, nullcpupowermanagement.kext, deleting kexts and booting with different settings I havent been able to solve this. ? Boot with -v:?https://www.dropbox.com/s/tqd9r5dijoa1m2e/Foto%2029.12.13%2021%2039%2050.jpg ? My graphics card is Intel HD Graphics 3000 and again, Im using clover not chimera or chameleon. ? Thanks ? EDIT: ? Specs Intel Core i3 2,2 GHz (2. gen) Intel HD Graphics 3000 OS X 10.9.1

  15. Hi, I have a iogear usb bluetooth module connected to my Gigabyte DS3H/I5-2500K based system, and it generally works great, even allowing me to wake from sleep, with no drivers needed. However, I've done something twice so far, not sure what, that mucks up the connection to my trackpad and magic mouse in a weird way. It appears to be connected, but the cursor movement is very erratic and unpredictable. If I lift the mouse at all while moving it, the cursor jumps half way across the screen. The trackpad is also jumpy and iffy, disconnecting and reconnecting on its own and rapidly, and tapping stops working -- only real clicks. Finally, clicking on the bluetooth menu in the menu bar takes about 5 seconds to appear every time. No idea what causes this to happen, but last night it occurred when I started Parallels and the windows machine thought a bluetooth device had been connected and took it over. Even after I disabled bluetooth devices in the windows machine, and shut it down, the devices wouldn't work properly on the Mac side, and restarting did not help. The solution, both times that this happened, was to simply unplug the bluetooth dongle and plug it back into different USB port. Hope this helps someone who is experiencing strange bluetooth behavior!
  16. Hi everybody, hope y'all good! Today I installed Mountain Lion using a kit made for my laptop. Before I installed ML, i had Lion perfectly running, wifi, bluetooth, sleep, ethernet, graphics, usb, hdmi etc... everything was working. But now, I get some issues with the Bluetooth, the Sleep, and a bit with WiFi. For the bluetooth, I tried a kext called IOBluetoothFamily, a version supposed to support Mountain Lion, it worked one time. The Sleep, i tried a 10.8 compatible version of SleepEnabler, but even with or not, the system falls in sleep, but at wake I got artefacts and nothing work except mouse. Here are the Kext I installed : AHCIPortInjector.kext AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext FakeSMC.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext VoodooHDA.kext AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext IO80211Family.kext IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext PXHCD.kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext IOUSBFamily.kext RealtekRTL81xx.kext They were all in a kit I downloaded I checked for NullCPUPM because I heard that he prevented system from sleep For the wifi it's simple it found my network but I connect he give a random adress that doesn't match my dhcp, in ethernet it's ok If anyone of you had similar issues or hint it will be helpful, here's my configuration Asus G74Sx 750gb HDD Intel i7 2630QM 8Gb Ram nVidia GTX 560M Thank you so much everybody!
