  5. Hi everybody! I'm trying to install iAtkos L2 on my PC by DVD image (I burn the .dmg original image). These are the technical aspects of my Desktop: Motherboard: Intel DG43GT CPU: Intel? Pentium? Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz RAM: 8,00 GB Video Card: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD5450 Bios Settings that I changed: Execute Disable Bit: Enable XD: Enable Limite CPUID Max: disabilitato Virtualizzazione: feature is not present in bios Hyper-Threading: feature is not present in bios HPET: feature is not present in bios SATA Mode: feature is not present in bios I boot from the dvd and it loads iATKOS L2. After this I can see the picture of the apple but it remains in this state permanently, no signs of life and there isn't the loading wheel. In the boot menu of iAtkos L2, if I click "Boot Verbose" it freezes at the sentence "PCI Configuration Begin". I read that it's possible solve this problem by type in the boot line commands like these: "Boot up with -v -x npci=0x2000 pci=off busratio=20 (i've searched on the net...) or -v -x npci=0x3000 pci=off " you can see the thread at: Need to help! Freeze when just solve error "PCI Configuration Begin" So I tryed to type one of the command but in the iAtkos L2's boot line I cant't write the signs "-" and "=", if I try to write they come the signs "/" and "(". So I don't know how to solve these problems and continue the installation. Can you Help me please? Thanks you very much.
  6. Hi everyone, I am a bit of a newbie so please be nice First of all I would just like to say how great this site is, I love the free resources that you can download from here and I am seriously thinking about donating. Right basically I have a bit of a problem. I am trying with a hackintosh on my AMD system (I will post specs below), But I am having some issues with getting to the installation. I burned the retail.DMG of 10.6.3 snow leopard to a 8.5GB dvd on the slowest setting using Transmac. I also have a copy of Nawcoms ModCd 0.3.2. My problem is that when I come to swap the Mod CD with the retail DVD and hit F5, The bootloader just doesn't see the snow leopard DVD?. Bios is configured to ACHI Sleep is S3 only. I do not know why this is happening, would really love to get mac working on this machine so any help would be greatly appriceated Kind regards, Olly Specs: M/B: Asus M4A88TD-V Evo/Usb3 (BIOS Build 2201) CPU: AMD Phenom ii X4 965 Black Edition @3.4Ghz RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperXBlue KHX1600C9AD3B1K2/4G (4X2GB Sticks) GPU: AMD Radeon HD5670 1GB 2X LG SuperMulti IDE DVD-DL Drives Thanks again So much
  7. Folks, Tried to make my Hackintosh last night, but then a few problems showed up... 1. Installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail version using iB{censored}. Had no problems during the instalation proccess. When it ended up, installed Chameleon RC4 and then the first problem came up: when I tried to reboot my machine, got onto the Chameleon screen, choose the partition where I installed Mac OS and then I only got the system botting up over and over again. That's my first problem, the other one will show up when I'll try to setup my system with jext's, I know that. Can somebody help me out on this first problem? When I got my machine booting up propperly, I'll concern with the rest of it. Many thanks!, Rafael PS: used this guide: Snow Leopard on Hackintosh Second Method « Bassheadtech.com Oh! By the way, my machine is an Acer Aspire 4745-7636, as it shows on AS4745-7636 | Product Model.
  8. Hi. Today I installed OSX 10.6.3 (Retail version) with Nawcom ModCD. The installation process was successful, but after restart i couldnt boot into my new installation. I get the following error: I think i have a problem with the bootloader. I can start my newly installed system with the Nawcom ModCD. I tried to reinstall the bootloader with Cameleon Wizard, so now I have Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 - Chameleon v2.1svn r1791 bootloader. What could be my problem? Any idea how can I fix it? I have a working Windows 7 installation on an another partition, so i want a dual boot machine.
