  1. Hi, guys. I’m facing a problem with a wifi/bluetooth combo card. I bought this PCI-e 1X adapter and a BCM943224PCIEBT2 (BCM43224) card, which is a common module on Macbook Air models from 2010 up to 2012. The items were bought separately, and when they both arrived I installed on a PCIe slot of my machine running OSX 10.11.5 (El Capitan) and connected the mandatory micro usb port of the module on a USB port on the back of my Gigabyte motherboard using the provided cable. The wifi is fully recognised and works effortlessly and though the bluetooth module is present on the Preferences Pane and on OSX menu bar, it simply doesn’t recognise my Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard (they both are recognised by my Macbook Pro). I tried to make it recognise something else (an AirTracks bluetooth headphone), but it was to no avail. Strangely, there is a unknown device which appears on the bluetooth panel which I have no idea what it is (it is not mine for sure, it could be from a neighbour or it simply could be an error, since it doesn’t recognise my Apple devices which are in front of it). This unknown device is shown with the Magic Mouse icon, but it doesn’t connect too and it is not shown on the Magic Mouse portion of the Pref Pane. I installed Sierra and Mavericks on a separate partition to verify if it was not simply an El Capitan issue, but it worked the same way on both: wifi fully working, bluetooth present on Preferences Panel, but nothing is recognised. I also have installed both BrcmFirmwareData.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2 following the instructions here first on S/L/E then on Clover/Kexts/10.11 folder on EFI partition and things are the same. I’m already providing the System Information screenshots showing the wifi, bluetooth and USB Hub info for you to check what is possibly wrong here. My setup is made of an Intel i7 4770 on a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H with 16Gb of ram (2x8 HyperX modules) and OSX installed on a SanDisk SDSSDA240G. I’m using Intel onboard graphics. Can you guys help solve this issue? Thanks a lot!

  6. Hi guys, I have attached my screenshot of my Wifi Whitelist here. I can only these wifi cards. I am currently using CLOVER efi as my boot loader. I was wondering that, lets say, I use one of the cards mentioned in the title of this thread as a replacement to my current intel centrino 1030n, can I get it to work using the fake-id within clover? I managed to even spoof my intel card into being recognised as a broadcom card but of course it won't work because there are no drivers for intel cards. However in case of broadcom tthere is support.? ? Can I spoof a 4727 to work as a 4233 or other working bcm cards using clover? anyone with any insight on this, please help me out. ? My whitelist as attached allows me only to use Broadcom 4727 and Atheros 5390/92. I want to spoof either the atheros into thinking its a 9285 or any other working wifi on osx is this possible?

  8. Version 2

Moutain Lion !! After a mandatory update from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5 ~Not all Broadcom devices where not supported in this new update. For device 8449 that is 0x2101 that was not working anymore after the update to 10.8.5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Open up your "SystemInformation" goto "USB" and find your BluetoothDevice. Get the "ProductID" in this case its 0x2101 convert this Hex number to DEC and you will get 8449. In case of broadcom look for it inside the IOBluetootfam.kext The name or ID that is in the info.plist that is closest to your own ID " in SystemInformation 8449"
  9. Is there anybody who has luck with BCm43225? (4357) There is no kext for it and I can't rebrand it It's very common wifi card and it's a shame that it isn't supported yet. It would be great if someone can post a solution
  10. Howdy! I have a Broadcom BCM4312 chip (Radio Model 94312HMG) installed in my Hackintosh Netbook and I don't get the WiFi working in Snow Leopard 10.6.6i by Hazard. I already tried Hackintosh IOPCIFamily FOR BROADCOM WIRELESS 10.6.6 - Downloads - OSx86.net and Hackintosh Broadcom Fix - Downloads - OSx86.net but None of them worked. Has anybody an idea? Thank you in advance Florent1510
  11. Hi there, I'm a newbie in hackintosh and I tried every way possible to make my wireless card work, changing the Info.plist file, various diferent kexts... Then my last hope was rebranding the hardware. I have tried on ubuntu 10.10 and 12.04. On 10.10 it lacks package sources(maybe because its too old). I did echo $SSB_SPROM and it showed to me "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.2/0000:02:00.0/ssb_sprom" and when I did "ssb-sprom -i ssb_sprom_copy -P" it showed "Ilegal value for sprom_rev", so now I'm stuck and don't know what else to do. Any help would be much appreciated and sorry about my english. Thanks!
  12. Hello guys. At first sorry for my english. So i have Lenovo Y560 with i5 m450 2.53GHz and managed to instal firstly 10.6.3 then make a flash drive with 10.8.2 with myHack utility. In two days i have reinstalled both 10.6.3 and 10.8.2 about 30 times. For the first time i launched 10.6.3 install it even played some music after install without any kexts or anything i don't even launched MB{censored} and sound worked fine but then i installed 10.8.2 and no sound at all and by now if i try 10.6.3 it has no sound and also PS/2 Keyboard and Touchpad do not work at 10.6.3 but they do at 10.8.2. Yesterday i also managed to run Ethernet in 10.6.3 once with kext for Athreos/Realtek lan then tried kext for audio and had kernel panic so i just reinstalled from flash drive 10.8.2 because it's easyer than to do that crap what people do while kernel panic. So my Lan is: Netlink Gigabit ethernet Broadcom BCM57780 And my Wifi is: BCM94313HMG2L also broadcom (find out this by unscrewing laptop bottom and looking on the wifi itself) And my Soundcard is: High De?nition (HD) Audio RealTek ALC272 codec. Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 with 2GB of memory and Intel HD GMA or something. About Lan there is interesting moment that after installation done while first boot mac osx detects lan and want's to connect to internet but if i press next it starts from the begining where you choose language. One more problem is that every time i restart mac my graphics turn from Discrete to Switchable and if switchable launch in mac i have a snow effect on display and bios reset after each time i turn off mac. Used patch for it but never helped. Once Got Chimera instead of Chameleon and it do not reset bios but now with Chameleon it resets and some strange Boot its looks like computer reset three times in a row after starting. And the one really strange thing is that bluetooth that actullay one thing with wifi on MiniPCI slot works under both 10.6.3 and 10.8.2 but it does not work under Windows 7/8 and Ubuntu 12.04 Also i tried creating DSDT on Ubuntu 12.04 and have now aml and dsl file from it but still do not know what to do with it:D Please help me get Wifi, Ethernet and Sound work. While waiting for the reply to my post try to install 10.6.3 on GA-MA69GM-S2H with AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+ 2.9GHz and ATI Radeon HD 4850 - it seem easyer to get mac work on this crappy desktop with amd cpu than on my lenovo laptop
  13. I've searched far and wide on the Internet and can't find a driver that will activate my Broadcom BCM4401-B0 802.11 wiress adapter. AppleBCM440XEthernet.kext powers my ethernet with no problem. Back when I had Leopard install the wireless actually worked, but now: dead as a doornail. If you have the kext that will get me the last mile, please let me know...Thanks!
  14. Hello guys, all in peace? Well, I'm with this WiFi and can not find a solution. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? Please, I want to be an alternative without changing the board.
  15. OK. I've searched and I can't get WIFI working on SL or L. The card is showing up as a Broadcom 4312 (4315 ID). I've edited the kext files and installed kext from all over the net and can't seem to get it working. When I first install leopard (iPC 10.5.6) the card works. If I install SL (iATKOS dvd) (either update or fresh install) the wifi triangle appears but no airport card detected. There is a "hard switch" on the board (like most or all HP DV's) and it lights up as active (Blue). I have had NO success on Lion with this card. Everything else is working on all installations (L, SN, L). Any help is greatly appreciated. If it all works..i'm purchasing OSX. If not..I'm sticking with Ubuntu.
  16. I've been searching for days but cannot seem to find a definite answer to my question. I have a Lenovo B570 with Mountain Lion 10.8.0 installed. Everything is working great aside from the WiFi. The WiFi option doesn't show up as an option in SysPrefs>Network. As far as I can tell (based off of what I've read online), my WiFi card is currently unsupported - a Broadcom 4313. First Question: Is it true that there are no kexts/drivers/etc. for the Broadcom 4313 WiFi card? Second: If it is unfortunately true, then if I replace that card with an Atheros AR9285, will WiFi suddenly work? ...or are there additional steps I would need to take in order to activate the AirPort/WiFi option in SysPrefs>Network? I have all of the necessary kexts needed for WiFi to be working with the Atheros AR9285, but I'd just like to make sure this plan will work. I obtained the kexts, drivers, and everything else necessary from this install guide: Lenovo B570 Mountain Lion Guide - Notebooks - InsanelyMac Forum This guide contains the IO80211Family.kext file necessary for the Atheros WiFi card to work. So to sum up, when I install the new card, which it looks like I'll need to, is there anything else I'll need to do if I already have a kext file that supports that card? You can probably tell I'm quite new to this, so I truly appreciate all of the help. Thanks, Andrew
  17. Hello I Need Help Polishing Of My Hackintosh. Current List Of Problems: Broadcom 4313 Is Not Working (Can't Find Solution) Can't Boot Using Charmelion (Can With iB{censored}) (Cpu Halted Error, Then Restart)*FIXED WITH MAXMEM=4096* Need Help Updating 10.6 To 10.6.8 Any Help Is MASSIVELY Appreciated Thanks In Advance!!
  18. I just installed Iatkos L2.. Everything works fine. But i can't find a Wireless kext.. I've got an Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter. Can someone help me.? Thanks Kind Regards
  19. Hi. I posted this message on another hackintosh forum, but no one answered so I thought I should post if here too. I finally managed to install iAtkos V7 on my HP 625 AMD-powered laptop and then updated it to Snow Leopard GM using some tutorial over at geeknizer.com. The install of iAtkos went smooth with the noapic cpus=1 flags but the system would only boot with the cpus=1 flag even with Snow Leopard. Otherwise it would get stuck at IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors different numbers:different numbers. I found most of the kexts that are compatible with my hardware, but none that work with my network card, a Broadcom 4313. Since I've read that this card is mostly incompatible, I want to buy a network adapter for my laptop. So, my questions would be: 1. If in the description of the usb adapter it is mentioned that it works with Mac, will it work with my hackintosh too? 2. Why will the system boot only with the cpus=1 flag? What does it mean? 3. After updating the system to Snow Leopard GM, can I update the OS easily with the software updater? 4. Is there any chance to get my current network card working? If yes, how?
  20. Hey people, I just installed iATKOS v7 (10.5.7) on my friends netbook. Before i started the installation i saw that the netbook (Acer Aspire one D260) had a broadcom (no more information was given) wifi adapter. on installation i clicked on the broadcom driver that was included but after installation there was no internet. Are there also any program that i need for wifi (i know kismac but the newest version does not work on 10.5 so if anyone has an older version for me....) Help would be appreciated
