  1. Recently, I've set-up a PC built a while back to run macOS Sierra, 10.12.6, and have got it to boot from clover, with the NVIDIA Web Drivers (I use a 1060), and work on my AMD CPU (Athlon X4 860K). It boots correctly and functions normally, except I can't find a way to get the ethernet and audio working. They are both built into my motherboard (Gigabyte F2A68HM-H Link:https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-F2A68HM-H-rev-10#ov) and I've tried using MB{censored} to install all the Realtek ethernet drivers available through it, and have tried both the legacy and normal versions of the ALC887 driver from Realtek, along with some other random Voodoo drivers just to see if they would work. This is my first time setting up a Hackintosh and I'm pretty lost at this point. If anyone who knows about these problems could help me out, that'd be great.

  7. Setup : ? Raspberry Pi connected headless via Ethernet to Macbook Pro 2011 connected to Wifi network. ? Issues : ? Unable to ping Mac bridge0 interface, cannot pass traffic from Ethernet over Wifi, cannot ping bridge0, cannot modify netmask of bridge0.? ? Prior Troubleshooting : ? First, I am able to ssh to the Raspberry Pi from the Mac. Before Yosemite, I ran a bridged connection between the Pi and Macbook. On the Mac side, I enabled ipfw and was able to forward internet traffic from the Pi to the Mac, from the Mac to the Pi, etc.? ? Given that ipfw is now removed, I have added rules to pf.anchors and created a ruleset to forward traffic to/from the lo0 (localhost) over certain ports, but this fails. I have tried modifying the rdr pass rules to specify bridge0, en0, and en1 respectively. ? bridge0 no longer functions as a FreeBSD bridge. ? My biggest issue with this so far is that bridge0 has for some reason been assigned as a thunderbolt-bridge, which it was not, technically, in my machine prior to yosemite. Bond0 used to be assigned as the thunderbolt-bridge, the collection of default interfaces as members accessible through command line, by editing the XML, or through X-Code. Now it is true that these assignments, once modified in either terminal (does not recognize timestamp) or X-Code (unable to modify unless "unlocked") default to presets upon restart. <-- In other words, I cannot reassign the bridge0 to any interface specifications. So, off to ifconfig. No Problem. ? By default Bridge0 initializes recognizing en2, thunderbolt, as a member. So, let's remove that interface and add Ethernet and Wifi. ? Running: ? ifconfig bridge0 deletem en2 #removes thunderbolt as bridge member ifconfig bridge0 addm en0 addm en1? ifconfig bridge0 up ifconfig bridge0 ifconfig bridge0 broadcast ? I am unable to change the net mask of the bridge0. Running : ifconfig bridge0 netmask ... throws an error. The default netmask for the yosemite bridge0 is ? rc.conf as also been removed. ? Networking the Pi side : ? Raspberry Pi running Debian has a static host set to I can SSH to the Pi and from the Pi, ping my .local of my Macbook, including the Ethernet's static IP, different than that of the Pi. Pinging from Mac is successful once SSH has been established. No open web packets pass through Ethernet to Mac to web. Ethernet on the Mac is set to a static address of (no router specified). Back to the Mac : ? Even after adding members to the bridge0 as specified above, I cannot pass frames over en0 (Ethernet) to en1 (wifi). Neither can I ping bridge0 ( Bridge0 fails to ping from both Pi side and Mac side. ? Internet sharing is enabled. Managed virtual interfaces have been modified to exclude thunderbolt from the bridge0 and bond0 both, but there is no option to add Ethernet interface as a managed virtual interface (System pref -> cog -> manage virtual interfaces). ? I have further tried to establish routes to attempt to pass traffic from Ethernet over wifi, bridge0 to wifi, and others. ? route -n ? Bridge0 does not ping, even after establishing its ip and other network specifications. ? Finally, I loaded Debian in VMWare fusion, which is able to pass internet traffic to/from Mac over a vlan0 "shared" connection. Modifying the Pi's network config (etc/network/interfaces) to appear similar to the VM network configuration yielded no result. ? The issue seems to be that certain traffic over SSH is simply not passing over Ethernet to Wifi, either through Bridge0 or the default internet sharing option. Pf rules and pfctl -E is not recognizing/allowing ports/interfaces to pass traffic. ? Questions :? ? Do I need to buy Server to enable BIND the easy way? Is there a cert problem for the wifi in keychain possibly? Is there a missing Ethernet configuration in Yosemite since most of the new laptops come without Ethernet ports?? ? Prior to this, considering myself a bit of a networking expert, I am at a loss and have to throw out my black belt in interface integration.? ? Might downgrade to Mavericks? ? Thanks, ? deepgreen ?

  14. Hi guys! I'm having two big problems, first, I'm sorry if already another topic about this (I've been really searching solution for it, for 3 days), I'm sorry too if the category for topic is wrong, and if I make a mistake in the text (my english is weak)

First my hardware: AMD Athlon II x2, MB Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2P, 4gb DDR3, VGA Asus GeForce GT630 2gb

So I recently installed the Mavericks 10.9.0 by N{censored} distro on the hardware above? in a 160gb SATA HDD with GPT, during the installation I kept all the others HDDs disconnected Now the problems: In the first boot I look the first problem, it does not found an ethernet card, but I proceed with the configuration, when the OS is running, using another PC I search for a kext to my realtek ethernet, I found it in this link: http://www.N{censored}12495.com/files/file/83-realtek-816968-for-maverick-109-1091/, but I tried to install this with 3 methods, using "Kext Utility", using "Kext Helper", and coping manually to /System/Library/Extensions, but after reboot nothing happens like if had not installed anything, in one reboot, it returned me an error dialog: After I fixed permissions with EFIStudio, this error apparently stopped (but I guess this information is important) But after all attempts, it's not working, see this link to look two other errors: http://i.imgur.com/VvqG8zO.png ? The second problem is with my video card, I installed following this topic: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3566-new-109-nvidia-gt-630-native-lastest-driver/ but identically to the above, after installed, nothing happens ? Here, some screenshots at the installation process, as I said before, I tried to install the video kext with the three ways, although have only one screenshot when I tried to install with the Kext Utility: http://i.imgur.com/35c2ahn.png ? And here, two screenshots of my boot.plist: http://i.imgur.com/ljyvAxp.png ? Well, I'm sorry that the topic was gigantic, and thanks if someone can help me

  20. Hi, I was wondering if any of you could help. Here's a screenshot of the problem I have: View image: Screen Shot 2013 06 14 at 19 41 07 I've just installed Mountain Lion on my system and everything works except for the Internet. I searched around for a kext for the Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30) and found a few that said they would do the job, and seen to for a lot of people. However, when i installed the kext and rebooted I found that it now shows I have an ethernet card installed in System Information but it isn't selectable to set up in my network configuration. Any advice would be greatfully recieved. Thanks in advance, Rob

  23. Hi can someone help me please, ok i have iatkos l2 installed on (asus k53e bbr19), it runs great but one little problem i cant get the internet to work, any solutions?
  24. Can someone help me to get working Realtek 8139 ? I tried many kexts/plugins and EFI String but none of them work, in Network it just recognize my DWL G-122 WLAN USB which is ok but I can't login to iCloud, App Store (An unknown error has accoured when try to login) and FaceTime (The server encountered and error processing information). 25. Greetings all, I've been searching high and low for this, all through the interwebs, but haven't found a solution yet. It's been a couple of days pulling my hair out, so I'm hoping someone might be able to help here. I've installed Lion 10.7.2 on an ExoPC tablet (via iAtkos L2 because I had trouble with my original purchased Lion DVD and I'm a noob at this) and updated it to Lion 10.7.3 via Software Update. Most everything works alright, though there is no sound yet and the graphics are choppy (because the chip is not supported GMA3150). My main issue is that, like so many others, I can not get the App Store to work. I get the error message (as everyone else): "Your device or computer could not be verified." The solutions I've seen mostly center around getting the ethernet card up on en0. My problem is though that the ExoPC does not have an Ethernet card. So, everything I've tried, doesn't work. I've tried: EFIStudio / Ethernet / Add Device: I get "Device path not found! Ethernet not available on this machine!" Removing devices in System/Network Preferences and removing /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist Setting EthernetBuiltIn to Yes Setting PCIRootID to 1 or to 0 Setting my device as a MacBook Air, via Champlist, since those do not have ethernet either. Installing PDANet to try to act as a fake ethernet adapter (but I can't move it from en1 to en0) And a wide variety of other solutions So, is there any solution for this little machine? I figure there must be a way to get to the app store without an ethernet card, as the MacBook Air's only have WiFi, which is on en0 (I have one, with OSX Lion 10.7.3, so I've been comparing the configs). Is it possible to use a USB ethernet card to get into the app store? Thanks for everything. Please let me know if there is any other information I could provide. George
