  2. i have a problem with graphics on my Intel HD 4000. i have installed yosemite with U{censored} without any bootflag, but when i come to login screen i get flickering screen and scrambled graphic but on HDMI out i dont have almost any problem and the same is in safe boot but only for 5-7 hours then it starts but its almost not noticable, comparing to normal mode without safe boot. i dont know much about dsdt patching and mac files editing. My Specs are:? CPU: i3-3110M GPU Intel HD 4000 ? ? i think that that specs only matters for graphics and i cannot set memory for graphic in bios. ? i can set in bios to use both(legacy and uefi), and which is first. please help me i dont know what to do anymore, i tried to fix it but i couldnt cause lack of mac knowledge. Thanks in advance. there are 2 pics and also video from youtube. yt :?https://youtu.be/b5h1aYCrn70

Installed Yosemite with Clover bootloader(using MacPwn), using VESA graphics with no kexts whatsoever, just booting with cpus=1. ? Are there any kexts I need to install? ?Bootflags? ?Injections? ? ? 4. I am about to get a new laptop and I absolutely hate Windows 8 and wanted to make it a hackintosh. The laptop is the Asus X55CA and the specs are: Intel® Core™ i5 3337U ProcessorWindows 8Intel® HM76 Chipset?6 GB DDR3 MHz SDRAM15.6" 16:9Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4000500GB HDD 5400Super-Multi DVD3 -in-1 card reader ( SD/ SDHC/ SDXC)HD Web CameraIntegrated network Built-in Bluetooth™ V4.0? 10/100/1000 Base T1 x COMBO audio jack? 1 x VGA port/Mini D-sub 15-pin for external monitor 1 x USB 3.0 port(s)? 1 x USB 2.0 port(s) 1 x RJ45 LAN Jack for LAN insert? 1 x HDMIBuilt-in Speakers And Microphone SonicMasterLink: http://www.asus.com/uk/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X550CA/specifications/ ? Could someone please tell me how I should make this Laptop into a hackintosh? I am mostly concerned about the bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SD card reader, the camera, USB ports and the reader because I don't know whether you would have to get specific drivers and make them run on mac. In case i ever needed windows 8, how do I dual boot it with Mavericks? If dual booting is really fiddly, I won't bother with it. BTW, I have a mac mini capable of running U{censored} and I have already got a copy of Mac OS X Mavericks. ? Thanks
  5. My situation is really strange. I installed Windows 8.1 and Mavericks in one hard disk drive with three partitions, one for each operating system and one just for storage purpose. Since my wireless network card (BCM943142HM) is not usable in OS X, I bought a USB Wifi Adapter (TP-LINK TL-WN725N) so that I could access internet. But when I use a lot of internet bandwidth (downloading torrents) the computer freezes completely. So I decided to work heavy internet use in Windows and just specific tasks on OS X. I’ve been using my computer in this way for almost 8 months without any additional issues.? ? But recently I found somewhere that in order to stop the random freezes caused by the high internet’s bandwidth use, I had to disable Spotlight. So I did it, but the freezes continued. However I noticed that I could use the computer for a longer period of time before it froze again. ? So here is the problem. Yesterday, after some of this freezes I restarted the computer and now it beeps 8 times while booting indicating a display problem according to Dell, and the display shows up like this while booting and in Windows: ? ? ? But inside OS X the screen turns off. When I perform the display test according to Dell (holding down the D key and then pressing the Power button to turn on the computer) it shows solid colours indicating that the display panel is working correctly. Right now I’m using an external monitor connected to the HDMI port which is working correctly in both operating systems.? ? Inside OS X it’s like there is no display panel connected to the graphics adapter, and in Windows it detects the display panel as a generic monitor. ? I’m really concerned about this. I know this is not a common problem, so I would appreciate any help!
  6. Can somebody help me? I own a Acer Aspire V3-571G and my problem is that there is a HM77 Chipset in it with an Intel Processor what uses an Integrated Intel HD 4000 Card. in the newest chameleon is written that there has to be 64,96 or 192 mb as graphical memory, BUT NOT 128MB as i have. my problem - i have a VERY restricted bios, and NO its not possible to update it, so i get a very big problem that no driver works for me. is there some how a patch/fix or some other programme what will allow me to use my HD4000 even with 128MB video ram? i am a bit upset^^. please answer somebody. i REALLY would appreciate it.
  7. Hi, I have an hd4000 ivy bridge and I get full qe/ci. But I want to know if I can get my GPU HD 4000 frequency in mac, to test power consumption ?
  8. Hi, My bios is locked and I can't change video memory to 96, 64 or 32 mb, the video ram is locked at 128mb. My bios is UEFI bios 2.X therefore there aren't mod bios for my laptop. I want to know if I can get full qe/ci, please. ? My Laptop (Acer Aspire V3 771): Maverick 13A598ChameleonSMBios: MacBookPro 9,1i5 3230m 3rd gen Ivy Bridge HD4000 128mb to bios (without discrete card)?2x(4go) ram (Dual Channel)
  9. Ok. So I have Lenovo IdeaPad G780 Specs are Processor: Intel Core i7 3612-QM Motherboard: Intel panther Point HM76, Intel Ivy bridge GPU'S: Intel HD 4000 and Nvidia GT630 2GB(Not hoping to get this one working on Hackintosh) RAM: 8GB BIOS: Insyde I successfully installed ML, which as I understood was iAtkos build, from this site Open Mac: OS X 10.8 ML bootable USB for Intel PCs It installed perfectly and booted as well. I run the MB{censored} but it didn't wanted to boot by using Chimera. So I used the Chameleon bootloader from the USB and it booted fine. The problem is - I don't have the option in Bios to change the memory of Intel HD 4000 and I guess that is the reason why Chimera is failing to boot. ( I used the EasyBeast and user DSDT from the MB{censored}) I tried using flags like -f -x -s cpu=1 but each one of them failed. some gave Kernel panic, some just froze the booting. So Is there a way to enable graphics without having the memory option in Bios? And Is Chimera not booting the Hackintosh because of the HD 4000 or could it bee something else? I haven't installed anything else just EasyBeast and User DSTS. Tried to give you as much information as i could remember.
