  4. First of all, hello guys and thanks in advance for your support. I desperately need your help. ? I have a laptop, Acer E1-570 where I successfully managed to install N{censored} Mavericks 10.9 ? I have Chameleon bootloader and at first the system didn't want to boot. It only booted with -x boot flag that's it safe mode. ? After some advices around forums, I removed all the kexts files relating the graphics from /System/Extensions/Library and now it's booting fine without any boot flag but I have no internet and no graphic acceleration. ? The graphic card is correctly identified but no kext are loaded. ? As I said, I have the HD 4000 integrated graphic card and I don't know what to do to install the correct kext file. Could you please, please, give a hand with this? ? Thanks again guys
  5. Does this really increase VRAM or just show a fake value ? Does this really improve performance too ? Thank you.

  7. My situation is really strange. I installed Windows 8.1 and Mavericks in one hard disk drive with three partitions, one for each operating system and one just for storage purpose. Since my wireless network card (BCM943142HM) is not usable in OS X, I bought a USB Wifi Adapter (TP-LINK TL-WN725N) so that I could access internet. But when I use a lot of internet bandwidth (downloading torrents) the computer freezes completely. So I decided to work heavy internet use in Windows and just specific tasks on OS X. I’ve been using my computer in this way for almost 8 months without any additional issues.? ? But recently I found somewhere that in order to stop the random freezes caused by the high internet’s bandwidth use, I had to disable Spotlight. So I did it, but the freezes continued. However I noticed that I could use the computer for a longer period of time before it froze again. ? So here is the problem. Yesterday, after some of this freezes I restarted the computer and now it beeps 8 times while booting indicating a display problem according to Dell, and the display shows up like this while booting and in Windows: ? ? ? But inside OS X the screen turns off. When I perform the display test according to Dell (holding down the D key and then pressing the Power button to turn on the computer) it shows solid colours indicating that the display panel is working correctly. Right now I’m using an external monitor connected to the HDMI port which is working correctly in both operating systems.? ? Inside OS X it’s like there is no display panel connected to the graphics adapter, and in Windows it detects the display panel as a generic monitor. ? I’m really concerned about this. I know this is not a common problem, so I would appreciate any help!

  10. Hello I have samsung np350e5c-s04pl (hd4000 + amd 7670m) HM76 chipset. I was able to get everything (I need) working except QE/CI. I am trying to get it on HD4000 ofc, cos I'm not able to disable Intel gfx in BIOS. No matter what I try it's the same either dimmed display on IntelCapriFB=3 or no display at all. What is interesting; some time ago i was trying to boot same os x installation from Vmware, installed something (as vmware tools or sth) and after some time (week or two) booted it normal way and got shocked because EVERYTHING worked even QE/CI on intel.?I was happy as hell, but after reboot i couldn't get it to work again. I don't know what exacly caused that QE/CI worked but now I know that it IS possible to get it.Now I am trying many different things for some time to get it work again but without effect As far as I know it might be connectors problem.? ?
  11. I've gotten most of the hardware for my Dell XPS 13 (L322X) working, but HD4000 graphics just won't work. I can turn on GraphicsEnabler and set my resolution to 1080p in Chameleon, and it will boot in 1080p, but Graphics Acceleration doesn't work (non-translucent menu bar). ? I have an i7-3537u. I've tried multiple SMBios presets, but at this point I'm lost. I have to boot with -f, or else it won't boot, so would that be a problem?
  12. Hi, I have an hd4000 ivy bridge and I get full qe/ci. But I want to know if I can get my GPU HD 4000 frequency in mac, to test power consumption ?
  13. Hi, I have a strange problem I have HD4000 QE/CI with 1024mb (with 0x01660004 inject intel id) but AppleGraphicsPowerManager.kext is not load. I check it with kextwizard and kextstat and nothing. How can I get it load, please?

  15. I'm having difficulties booting after installation with a MyHack usb. If I boot with -x I can get in, however if I boot with -v -f dart=0 IGPlatform=01660003 IGPEnabler=Y and no flags in the org.chameleon.boot.plist it hangs after DSMOS has arrived. If I delete the IntelHD related kexts I can boot without -x but I'd like to get my HD4000 working. I've uploaded a photo of where it hangs (you'll have to excuse the reflection). Specs are: Intel Core i5 3337u HM76 chipset Intel HD4000 @ 1366*768 Synaptics touchpad (I think those are all that are relevant)

This is a patched version of the AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext to get HDMI to work on Notebooks with IntelCapriFB=4 boot flag in chameleon, it works only with Mavericks (10.9+). I used the following command to patch. NOTE: The kext is already patched, only use this command if you don't want to download the kext, but patch it yourself. sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x04\x00\x00\x81.{107}\x04\x00\x66\x01.{108}|\x08\x00\x00\x06\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x11\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x04\x00\x66\x01\x01\x02\x04\x02\x00\x00\x00\x04\x00\x00\x00\x01\x00\x00\x00\x40\x10\x07\x00\x00\x10\x07\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x05\x03\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00\x30\x02\x00\x00\x02\x05\x00\x00\x00\x04\x00\x00\x07\x04\x00\x00\x03\x04\x00\x00\x00\x04\x00\x00\x81\x00\x00\x00\x04\x06\x00\x00\x00\x08\x00\x00\x06\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x11\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00|' ~/Desktop/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri A big thank you to pokenguyen over InsanelyMac. 17. Hi, My bios is locked and I can't change video memory to 96, 64 or 32 mb, the video ram is locked at 128mb. My bios is UEFI bios 2.X therefore there aren't mod bios for my laptop. I want to know if I can get full qe/ci, please. ? 18. Here I am again. I have an Acer Aspire V3-571G, to be exact, the Acer Aspire V3-571G-53218G75Makk. It's came preloaded with Windows 7 and with an EFI BIOS - not an UEFI one. Upon booting with Chameleon, it notices me I need to set the memory to 64MB of VRAM. However, I can't change anything in the BIOS. It's just locked. Are there any ways around this or can I just forget about graphics acceleration? I want to use OS X fulltime if I can get brightness, sleep and graphics acceleration to work.

Patch type : Audio HDMI Computer : Intel NUC DC3217BY (D33217CK motherboard) - Bios rev. 42 ONLY (actual latest*, download and install update from Intel site first) Package content : -DSDT.aml file (copy to /Extra and use Chameleon Wizard to use it at startup via DSDT option) -Binary patched AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext (install using Kext Wizard, and then rebuild permissions and kext cache) Once both of these files are properly installed, you should have HDMI audio working ! Brought to you by EmphasiS Credits : TOLEDA (DSDT patching method) / a Japanese person whom I don't know the name for the binaries to modify / EmphasiS (DSDT patching and kext binary edition) * Newer bios to come (rev. 46), I will add the new DSDT soon.

  22. Hi, I'm looking for help installing the drivers for my hackintosh I have a H61M-DS2 rev 3.0, installed ML via myhack+MB{censored} (sound worked via Voodo, ethernet still works), updated to 10.8.3 and sound stopped working. I had to delete AppleHDA.kext to be able to boot in normal mode. I have tried all sorts of things, I'm not quite sure in what state this machine is. I'd be happy if graphics accel+resolution+sound worked. No sleep is fine In case it's some use, the CPU is an Intel Core i5-3330 3.0Ghz
