  1. In this short guide I will explain you how to install Mac OS X on old Elitegroup ECS 945GCT-M2/1333 (v1.0a) motherboard with Pentium Dual CPU which are 100% compactible. Check my signature for my full system spec! For this guide, I will use OS X Lion distribution - iAtkos L2 (search on google for download). After you downloaded iAtkos L2, burn it to DVD with CDBurnerXP . Now you have successfully burned iAtkos L2 to DVD! *Here starts booting & installation* - Put DVD in your CD/DVD drive and restart your PC. - Press F8 and select CD/DVD drive to boot from it. - When you see small countdown bar of iAtkos L2 install press F8 and type in cpus=1 to prevent some issues during installation and slap ENTER on keyboard to proceed(not necessary, but I did it). - After few minutes Language selection should pop out, choose your language and click on the arrow (which means "Next") - Go to top menu and go to "Utilities", than "Disk utility". Select your Hard Disk, click "Partition" and for "Volume scheme" set "1 partition". Name it "OS X Lion" and for "Format" select "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" and click Apply. - Close Disk Utility. - Click "Continue". - Click "Agree". - Now, select your "OS X Lion" disk and click "CUSTOMIZE". See this picture below to see what patches/drives you will need. CLICK HERE TO SEE CUSTOMIZE OPTIONS - Now click "Install". - After about 30 minutes installation of OS X should be done, click "Restart" or wait 10 seconds, it will restart automatically. - Now you should see Chameleon Bootloader, it will countdown 5 sec. till it starts OS X. After countdown, you should see Apple logo. (if you stuck at Apple logo, at Chamelon countdown thing press any key and type -v to boot with verbose mode to see what is problem.) - After Apple logo, Apple account setup should pop-out (select country, timezone, account name, etc...) - You are at desktop of your freshly installed OS X Lion! Now you should search kexts for audio, graphics card... After you all got ready, enjoy your OS X ! Feel free to update to 10.7.4! If you have any questions, please send me a message on my YouTube, or Tweeter !
2. O Iatkos vai iniciar. Espere ele carregar. > Instalação do Windows 8 4. Termine a instalação do Windows. Completada e com o windows funcionando, reinicie o computador. > Instalação do Iatkos L2 (Mac OS X Lion) 5. > Finalizando a instalação 6. > Iniciando a configuração 7. Agora você precisará do arquivo .zip requerido no começo do Post. Agora vamos a instalação. Vá em "System Preferences > Boot Loader. Selecione a aba "Bios" e clique no cadeado. > Rede 9. Concluido, repare as permissões e reinicie o computador. > Audio 10. Digite a senha do usuario, espere terminar a instalação, feche, repare as permissões e reinicie o computador. > Layout do Teclado 11. Agora só resta marcar a opção “Show Input Menu in Menu Bar??. Pronto! Pacote Positivo P5GC-MX para Mac.zip
  3. Hi everyone, ? I've got an Dell Latitude E5400 (Core2duo P8600, Geforce 9200M GS). I'm trying to install iAtkos on it. After checking HCL, i decided that iatkos L2 seems suitable for my lappy. But, the installation had stucked at [PCI configuration end, bridge=8 ]. I've tried several boot parameter, including default, [-v -f], [-x -v -f npci=0x2000 graphicsenabler=yes], npci from 0x2000 to 0x4000. All of them didn't get my installation work, it still stucking at the same line. Please help me Should I try iatkos SL or L1? ML doesn't support my little bit oldy cpu.

  7. It has been a little bit of trial and error, but extremely easy install of iAtkos L2 on a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6960: T6500 2.1ghz Dual Core Processor 4GB of RAM Intel GMA4500MHD integrated Graphics I swapped the Wifi Card for one out of a broken Mac Mini, so that has helped by working out of the box. **I have support for the graphics, but 1366x768 is either a really horribly grainy resolution for OSX or I am still missing something. I do not have a Battery bar, nor do I really know how to find one? Personally, it seems like an impossible task to track down compatible kexts, by hardware compatibility, and then by OS version. There has to be an easier way??? **I have USB mouse and keyboard, but no trackpad, or built in keyboard support, though they worked during install from the DVD. **USB only supports devices that were plugged in prior to boot. No hard drives, flash drives, iPhone, iPod etc **No Audio *I have a VGA & HDMI port, VGA only recognizes monitor if manually select detect display. I think I chose an incorrect resolution because no whenever I detect, laptop goes glue with a gritty curser all across it, and monitor says "Out of Range!" *I don't have any hangups during boot -v. It actually boots up with no boot flags from user. Basically I haven't messed with it too much, as this is my 3rd install & I haven't seen an error or panic yet. Also^ This is installed on a 160GB Intel Sata2 SSD. MBP with Windows 7. What do you guys know? I'm going to clone this to a couple other HDDs I have, so I can start digging around. Im headed to the downloads section to donate right now, so that I can download without limits. /Lucas *ALSO! My Finder crashes all the time, If I'm not clicking at "Grandma Speed" it will crash & the dock will drop & pop back up.
  8. Hello OSx86 team, It took me two days to download iATKOS L2. I burnt iATKOS L2 on the DVD using Leopard and booted from it. The installation went fine but the trouble is after the installation. It boots with Apple Spinning logo, and after sometime, the spinning wheel gets stop and nothing happens. I tried using bootflags like -v ,-f -x, -v GraphicsEnabler=No, cpus=2 busratio=23 maxmem=4096 but cannot be able to succeed. Whenever I try any of the bootflags, it stucks at Vodoo Battery. Please help me. I got Dell Vostro 1550. 11. I'm trying to get iAtkos L2 to work on my G570 with the following specs: Intel Pentium CPU B940 @ 2.00GHz 6GB RAM Intel HD3000 Graphics I've partitioned the hard drive so that one partition is for Windows 7 and one is for the Mac. I have then used Chameleon to install iAtkos L2 on to the second partition. It installs fine. However, when I boot into the Mac partition, it seems to load fine but then then circle indicator under the apple logo freezes after about 20 seconds. However, music is playing in the background when it freezes. I've read this is to do with the graphics, but I'm not sure how to fix it? Any ideas? Also, when I boot my laptop, I get the error Boot0. But this is fixed by booting from the Chameleon USB so not so much of a problem at the moment. Thanks in advance, Dan
  12. Dear All, My pc configuration. MB. Intel dh55hc Pro. Core i5 760 Ram. 4GB Vga. Geforce 9500GT (1GB) IATKOS L2 installation is successfully completed but when it restarts (booting from hdd) garbage type colors & slides are showing on screen. This happens when I select nvidia drivers from custom options. If I select only nvidia loader, monitor went to sleep after successful installation. Help me to resolve this issue. thanks.

  16. Hey everyone, Installed iAtkos onto my system, worked fine, but for XCode I needed to be above 10.7.4. So, I chose the highest and went for the 10.7.5 update. I downloaded the one off the apple website, not through the updater. I then installed the update, and once it had finished, I removed AppleHDA.kext (As I am using VoodooHDA) and did the 'repair permissions' and 'rebuild cache' via Kext Wizard. I then proceeded to reboot. No kernel panics - surprisingly - however my system still refused to boot. On verbose boot (-v) it seems to get past most sections, but stops at 'Failed to load kext com.apple.driver.airport.atheros9388' I have also tried other things including 'ignore system cache' and safe boot - to no avail. I would be very grateful if anyone else has attempted this update and succeeded and could give me some help - I'm a bit stuck!
  17. Hey guys, updated from 10.7.1 (I think) to 10.7.4 using the online download (not though the updater). Removed AppleHDA.kext before rebooting, rebooted and now it never boots :/ I've tried multiple boot flags, but nothing seems to make it boot. On verbose boot nothing obvious shows - check out the attached image. That's where it freezes, just after the ApplePS2ALPSGlidePoint stuff. (The 'unknown extended scan code' were my pressing of keys to see if it would do anything - obviously an unmapped button on my keyboard) I'm able to boot into single user mode if that helps... Boot flags tried so far (ALL give the same output): -x, -v, -f, -F, -s, EthernetBuiltIn=No, GraphicsEnabler=No Really need some help on this, it's annoying me now! If anyone's got any ideas or knows how to fix it please respond and I'll try it out! Thanks in advance.
  18. Hey guys, I installed iAtkos L2 succesfully on my Laptop (Acer Aspire 5742g) Here are the specs: Intel Core i5 480m Nvidia GT 540m (that's the problem) 8 Gigs Ram After the installation, iAtkos told me to reboot, i rebooted, but I get an error, something like (nvidia ROM failed) I read, that I have to delete some kexts with "Appleintel..." But how can I delete the files ? I tried the windows application "MacDrive", but the partition wasn't found, so I tried a Linux Live CD, then I could see the partiition, but when I wanted to delete the files, Linux said, I could just read the partition, not write. I woukd be very happy, if somebody could help me
  19. Hey guys, I previously installed Snow Leopard onto my laptop (Acer Aspire 5742 - Specs Below), but I decided to upgrade to Lion by doing a fresh installation of iATKOS L2. I downloaded to dmg, burnt it to a disk, and I managed to run a clean install on a partition on my drive. (I chose no customisation options - I would like to make sure I can run it first before playing around with it!) To choose boot options when my laptop turns on I use EasyBCD, which when I choose Mac OSX, it takes me to Chameleon. When I try to boot into Lion, using either Chameleon or the iAtkos disk, it always gets stuck at the apple boot screen with the apple logo and the spinning activity indicator. Any ideas? :/ Help is really appreciated! Acer Aspire 5742 Specs: HDD : 320GB Graphics : Intel HD Graphics CPU : Intel Core i3-370M RAM : 8GB DDR3 Screen Size : 15.6" (1366x768) WIFI : Atheros AR5B97 (Any other specs needed just ask) I have given Lion 25GB of space. I also have ubuntu and windows on the same harddive. Bootflags I have used so far: -v, -x, busratio=17, cpus=1, -f, maxmem=4096 Usually I have to use: busratio=17 cpus=1 maxmem=4096 to get to the boot screen. //UPDATE// I read a few other tutorials on pretty much the same specs, minus the graphics (they used nVidia, Whereas I use Intel HD). I copied their setup for installation, and now when I boot lion through the installation DVD (using bootflags busratio=17 cpus=1 maxmem=4096), I get stuck at the same point, however it does load music in the background, indicating that I think it is my graphics that are causing the problem. For installation I used (in the customise section on installation): - Original Apple Logo - AHCI SATA - CPU - VoodooHDA 2.1 - PS/2 - Laptop Battery - Atheros AR9287 ///UPDATE/// I managed to fix the Booting error I was having post install of iAtkos L2, here's what I did to save you scanning through the whole post!: The code I used is below: boot -s At the prompt "root:" Type: mount -uw / cd /System/Library/Extensions mkdir IntelBack mv AppleIntelHD* IntelBack/ mv AppleIntelSNB* IntelBack/ reboot That fixed it for me! Posting this right now from lion As for the VoodooHDA, I had problems using 2.7.3, so in the customise section in iAtkos l2 Installation, I chose version 2.1
  20. Hey all, I'm running iAtkos L2, and just did the 10.7.4 update, it took a while to do - got sorta stuck around 'registering update' - but finally did it. Only problem being now that I cannot boot into Lion. -.- When it loads up it gets stuck at the boot logo with the spinning activity indicator. I know I have to remove AppleHDA.kext as I'm using VoodooHDA.kext, however as I cannot boot into Lion I'm not sure how to go about this... (I could get up a terminal using the install DVD, but I dont know the code needed to do this) However I'm almost positive this is not the thing that is stopping me booting. Booting in safe mode gets me to the apple boot screen with an eternally spinning activity indicator, and single user just stops booting (Picture below...) When I installed 10.7.2 I had this boot problem, and i solved it by: boot -s At the prompt "root:" Type: mount -uw / cd /System/Library/Extensions mkdir IntelBack mv AppleIntelHD* IntelBack/ mv AppleIntelSNB* IntelBack/ reboot However I cannot get into single user mode. Any ideas? My specs: Acer Aspire 5742 Specs: HDD : 320GB Graphics : Intel HD Graphics CPU : Intel Core i3-370M RAM : 8GB DDR3 Screen Size : 15.6" (1366x768) WIFI : Atheros AR5B97 (Any other specs needed just ask) I have given Lion 25GB of space. 21. Hi everybody! I'm about to install Mac OS X Lion for quite a long time and finally -after a long period of research- I decided to start this project. I found a lot of threads in numerous forums so this thread could or should be used as a compendium of gathered information for everybody because it was quite time-killing to get all of the pieces of information. It can also be used for other Notebooks with the following specs: Acer JE50_HR Motherboard Intel Core i7-2630QM 2GHz CPU 8 GB DDR3 Memory NVIDIA Geforce GT 540m BIOS V 1.16 (unlocked) Acer Crystal Eye webcam I am using the iAtkos L2 but we got a problem starting off at the beginning: THE DVD DOES NOT BOOT! It just shows the iAtkos Screen and stands still. Also pressing f8 does not cure the problem? 22. hey everyone i installed iAtkos L2 on my HP G62-455tx. At first, it didn't boot up and i had to restart my computer again and again. Next, i somehow managed to install it using "cpus=1" (i don't even know what it is ). the real problems start now. #1) whenever i turn it on, i have to boot using the boot flag "cpus=1" then only it starts otherwise it gives taht restart error. #2) i couldn't find a working kext for its graphic card. my model is ati radeon mobility 6370m. #3) i couldn't even find a working kext for the wi-fi and ethernet. it means i can't access the internet. (i am using my pc right now) please help with these 3 problems :(
  23. After hours, days and weeks of Trials and Errors! I was able to Install a clean copy OS X 10.7.2 Just Follow This Steps: 1. First of you need a good copy of iATKOS L2 in DVD or USB (recommended) Download iATKOS DMG Here [mod edit]Please no illegal links Google it Burn or Restore DMG file to DVD or USB If DVD is not working or you are experiencing errors Try this combinations (busratio=20 cpus=1 -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No) This solve most of my errors 2. If you pass the boot problem the WELCOME Screen in many languages will appear. 3. Open Disk Utility and Partition or Format (Mac OS Extended Journaled)the drive you want to use for OSX 4. In the Installation window you will see CUSTOMIZE Button a chameleon boot options don't forget to UNCHECK Graphics Enabler CHECK Built-in Ethernet CHECK USB CHECK Audio (VoodooHDA v2.1) CHECK PS/2 CHECK Laptop Battery This is all working settings I use you can try others but I recommend this. 5. PRESS "OK" Then "INSTALL" Wait 'til Installation finish or it will automatically restart. 6. REMOVE DVD or USB Installers 7. If you follow this tutorial using Samsung R440 you will see a log in screen and working OSX Hackintosh. ENJOY! TO ENABLE QE/CI use kext found in here. Tested to work in ATI Mobility 5470 for Samsung R440 NOTE: if you forgot to uncheck Graphics Enabler you will END in a White or Black Screen, You need to Restart PC and use (GraphicsEnabler=No) before boot. Most of the Laptop Function will work Except Wireless Lan and Mic. Still working on MIC kext but WIFI (VEN/DEV 14E4 4727 ) is not possible I check every possible solution
