  1. Hello, I have a Gateway NE56R10u and I have a problem with Iatkos Mountain Lion booting. it will not go past apple logo with spinning wheel, but I can hear voiceover instructions after a few minutes. My pc specs are: Intel Celeron 1.7 GHz dual-core cpu Intel integrated HD graphics 4 Gb of ram 320 GB WD HDD. Running Windows 7,8.1 and mountain lion. I used easyBCD to make it work. Snow leopard worked fine when I used it. Refer to picture it never moves from there when done. There is disk activity at random times. I have tried -x and DSDT=null and cpus=1 someone please help.

iAtkos L2 Startup Problem - After Install

Hardware Info: Motherboard : Intel D945GCPE Processor : Core 2 Duo E4500 RAM : 1 Gib Intergrated Chipset : GMA950 ? Problem: So i wanted a Hackintosh system and i did have Snow Leopard on my Spare System but as the Snow Leopard Disc started acting up i left the plan of installing the Snow Leopard instead i found out that my Hardware Supported Lion so instead of trying to get the .app from App Store i downloaded iAtkos L2 and then installed it using the USB Installer. The Distro Installs fine without any error and during boot it shows the Apple Logo and just gets stuck at it with the music playing in background. Thinking of it as a Graphical issue i used GraphicsEnabler=No and that din't help either. I tried using ncpi=0x2000 but that dint fix any issues. The Verbose output picture is Uploaded below ? ScreenShots/Images: ?
  3. Hi everyone! I've been at this for a while now and had no luck whatsoever. ? I have followed multiple videos and tutorials but I can't get past the initial boot and start the installation process. Is there any chance someone can advise me what files I need to download or tools I need etc... that will work best with my system? ? If you need my specs, I've attached a screenshot to this post. ? I really want to be able to use Mac in VirtualBox to test it out, if anyone can give me some advice that would be great! ? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hello OSx86 Community! Glad to have joined this website, since I have found a lot of information on getting my PC finally Hackintoshed.. After trial and error I managed to install iAtkos L2 successfully on my Dell OptiPlex 745.. but there are a few issues.. First I must always start up with the "-x" command in Chameleon bootloader.. or else it will give me an error "System Uptime in Nanoseconds" (and nanoseconds after it).. but that's not really the worry I have.. From what I understand, the "-x" command starts up Hackintosh in Safe Mode, which means the Video settings are not as right as they should be (don't know how to explain, basically bad resolution).. and I only get one resolution in the system settings.. (1280x1024).. I only have iAtkos L2 on the hard drive, no dual booting or any other Operating System.. I was typing this thread from my laptop with Windows 7 on it.. so I can use Windows apps to fix issues.. but there is a problem - For some reason iAtkos will only mount drives with the HFS format.. but that would mean I cannot mount it in Windows 7.. so I cannot transfer Kexts or any other files/programs ( I can't connect to the internet on iAtkos since I'm on Wifi, and the router is nowhere near my Desktop, and I don't have the Kext for it.. ).. so that's a problem.. it won't mount Fat32, nor NTFS.. it will mount my 8 GB USB with the iAtkos setup because it is formatted as HFS ( I used TransMac to put the .dgm file on the USB stick, and another USB stick with Chameleon bootloader ).. so how can I make it possible to see the contents of an USB drive on both iAtkos and Windows 7? ^^' I know I've written a lot, but here are the main issues I have - "-x" command MUST be used to startup my PC properly.. Does not mount Fat32/NTFS USB drives No Wireless driver Only one video resolution No sound.. Since I would be able to fix driver issues, I would need an USB drive which mounts on both systems, to transfer apps that I download on the laptop, and Kext files.. but I cannot do that .. PC Specs - System = OptiPlex 745 BIOS Version = 2.6.6 Intel DuoCore 6600 @ 2.40GH Bus Speed = 1066 MHz RAM - 2GB I know I don't have enough information.. urgh.. I got them from the BIOS settings.. doesn't show me more than that.. but if you want some specific specs please let me know and I'll try to look further.. So, since I wrote way too much, but it's good to give as much info as possible.. but my main question is.. how do I get my USB drive to mount on both systems.. ? Thanks.

    iAtkos S3 V2 Boot error

I have a problem with booting into the iAtkos V2 S3 using Nawcom OSX86 ModCD. I took all steps in a tutorial that I saw on youtube by 32darkness48 on hownto make an amd hackintosh Snow Leopard. I followed all the steps and got all the files and everything but this happens when I try to refesh the boot loader to boot from the iAtkos CD and install it. Here is my error, I dont know quite how to explain it but lets say lines of colors appear on the top of the screen when i hit f5 with the iAtkos disk in. I uploaded a picture of the colors and my specs. Thank you.

Pois bem, tudo começou desde a instalação do sistema. Alguém sabe me dizer o que posso fazer? Desde ja muito obrigado
  13. I have installed iatkos 10.6.3 s3 version 2 on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite L40-139) and i'm stuck on this: ?? Need Help! ?
  14. Hello guys. I have recently installed OS X on my AMD PC. I used iATKOS S3 v2 and mostly all is working fine. But I have a serious issue. Whenever I insert a DVD or CD into the disk tray, OS X does not mount it. I went to Disk Utility and the disk is listed there, but it cannot be mounted onto the desktop which means I can't open it. Also, I can only boot in safe mode. If I don't type "-x", it just completely restarts the entire system. Should I try to re install OS X (again...)? I also believe I selected the correct drivers and kexts in the customization screen during the OS X installation. Please help. Thank you!
  15. I choose to install iAtkos ML2 on my computer. I successfully installed it but when I reboot into OSX I get greeted with some music and a BLACK SCREEN and the monitor lost signal. I am assuming this is a problem with my video card, so I reboot back into my Windows partition and use TransMac to navigate my OSX drive. I find a kext file for the video card I am using and decide to drop that into the System/Library/Extentions folder. I deleted all of the cached kext files and rebooted to no avail. Of course I tried all kinds of boot flags without any success. Single user mode wont start neither will safe mode. Because my mobo is Dual UEFI I decide to use iAtkos ML3. I install OSX and get the same problem after the installation. I had no idea how to use the Clover boot loader at all so I could not try any bootloader flags. Here are my system specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 Processor: 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 3570 4 cores - 3.50Ghz & 3.80Ghz Turbo Broken Integrated Graphics Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 630 (MSI brand) RAM: 16GB of DDR3 Ram distributed into two slots Network: Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller Display: Samsung Syncmaster 2494HM and Syncmaster SA450 Sound: Realtek Card Storage: I am planning to install OSX on a 750 GB HDD (I have Windows 7 on a ssd and a 2tb storage drive) I have changed a few BIOS settings enabled AHCI Sata disabled Intel Vt-d Hopefully somebody can help me with this, I want to run Mountain Lion also I have access to another PC running OSX

  17. I have been hackintoshing for a while now, and have decided to try my hand at 10.8 on my amd rig.? The only build I have been able to get working on this rig is 10.6.8, but that was about a year ago. ? So following this guide --->?http://www.osx86.net/topic/17579-guide-mountain-lion-1083-on-amd-with-biostar-board/?, I have been able to get it to load all the kexts, by using the boot flags?-v -x cpus=1 maxmem=2048 amd_kernel. The problem is that as soon as the kexts are loaded, my computer instantly reboots. No install screen, just the "Reading HFS+ File...." lines and it suddenly reboots. ? Can anybody help me, are there any boot flags I'm not using, or is there a setup problem, or what? ? My build: Amd phenom II x4 4 gb ddr2 ram gigabyte ga-ma790x-ud4p motherboard ?

  19. I've installed iAtkos ML2 onto virtualbox. ?It runs really well but hangs everytime I shut it down. ?Sometimes it will hang after "System uptime in nanoseconds ###########", and other times it will produce the output shown in the image below. 21. Hey osx86.net, I've been having a little problem. ? I've not been able to get iAtkos L2 working on my desktop pc for the life of me, no matter what I seem to try. I've tried every boot flag combination possible, every option I can think of from bus ratios to maxmem to cpus and architectures. ? My issue is this BSD root error, I keep getting stuck at this no matter what I try. I am using an AMD machine, and using iAtkos L2 install via USB drive w/ latest Chameleon bootloader. The kernel i'm using is?2584-mach_kernel_v4_bronzovka. I can boot from the kernel, and the installer recognizes my video card as well (GTX 560 Ti) but it just won't load. ? Any help or tips would be appreciated! ? System specs:?http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c02481315 (Yes, it's a prebuilt, it was a gift. AHCI can be enabled in the bios though, and it is. Replace the graphics card with a Zotac GTX 560 Ti 1024 mb) ? A picture of my hanging screen is below. I can still type and everything in this, it just wont load. ? ? ?

  23. Hey Guys, I'm new to the hackintosh scene, and I need a hand with installing OS X on my Toshiba Satellite L850. I have got USB's for iAtkos ML2, iAtkos ML3U (My computer is UEFI and pre-installed Windows 8) and iAtkos Snow Leopard. Here is some info of my attempts at installing: ML2: I had trouble with this version after installing all the drivers in the Laptop category in the customize menu, but I also installed Graphics Enabler too. After install had finished, it went to the boot screen fine, but then froze on the spinning wheel after about 15 seconds. I tried running with GraphicsEnabler=No and Safe Mode, but still, no luck. ML3U: My friend, who has 3 PC's running OS X ML, as well as a Macbook, gave me ML3U after trying ML2. It was on a USB Stick like normal, and he isn't a dick so he wouldn't simply fake installing it. After I booted in UEFI mode and Secure Boot Disabled, I selected USB, and It gave me a Black Screen. Nothing. Nothing at all. Snow Leopard: My friend gave me a DVD of Snow Leopard iAtkos and when we installed, we installed with totally bare drivers. No Drivers at all. Then, after install we got a boot loop when you could J u s t see the apple logo, for like a millisecond, then my laptop would reboot. Any Help Would Be Appreciated! Thanks, itonykexts86
