  1. Hey. I have a problem with my installation of OSX on my computer. I finally got my memory stick set up to the point where I can start installing, but my hard drive is not detected by the system. I have tried to add some .ktext but it didn't work (not sure if they were working 100% tho) Anyways, all that shows up when I'm supposed to choose where I want to install my OSX is the Flash Drive I'm booting from. I have also tried to add another flash drive in one of the other USB ports, but they didn't show up either. Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth x58 socket 1366 Processor: Intel i7 3.20 GHZ Ram: Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6900-series Hard drive: Western Digital 250GB HDD
  2. Hi I need help installing Mac OS Sierra on my laptop (Samsung NP550P5C-S05IN). I have experience installing OS X - Mavericks & Yosemite previously on this laptop and now want to install Sierra. I have followed many guides available on the web for the installation and I have created a USB using "clover" and "createinstallmedia" command and is able to boot up to the installation window and proceed with the installation. The only problem I am facing is to after the first reboot, when I boot into 'Install Mac OS' the installation displays: Mac OS can't be installed on this computer. Unable to un-mount the volume for repair. I already tried changing various clover settings and also tried various SMBIOS but to no help. Thanks!!
  3. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've been trying to install Snow Leopard on my AMD based PC in a VM using Hazard's modified OSX installation ISO. The installation runs smoothly to around 3/4 completed, when I get an error stating that: "The Installer could not validate the contents of the 'OxFordDictionaries' package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.". I checked the customization options to make sure the package wasn't included with anything I selected and it was not listed there. It seems to be a core package but I'm unsure to what the problem is, is it corrupted? Should I re-download the ISO? I'm unsure as to what to do so please reply it will help alot! Since it is a VM i couldn't copy and paste a log from the installation but the lines towards the bottom of the errors log say: Dyld error message: unknown required load command 0x80000022 and, TheOxfordDictionaries package failed to validate. I'm unsure the Dyld error one has anything to do with it though because there are a few of them in the logs and the installation seems to continue fine. Please reply I know there is someone that can help, and sorry if this is a noob-ish question xD.

  6. Requirements and Support List: Intel Core2Duo and newer 64bit CPU, minimum 1GB RAM, minimum 15GB free space on target partition, compatible VGA card. Bootable USB with iAtkos ML2 installation http://www.iatkos.me/forum/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=23105 Before installation go to bios and reset your settings by default - BIOS settings: - Set your BIOS to its default settings. - Execute Disable bit: Enabled - XD (if exists): Enabled - Limit CPUID Max: Disabled - Set all cores of the CPU active/enabled. - Virtualization (if exists): Enabled or Disabled, try it. - Hyper-threading: Enabled or Disabled, try it. - HPET (High Precision Event Timer/PCH): Enabled - SATA Mode: AHCI - Set all the Overclock/Performance/Turbo etc. values to Auto. - Set the UEFI mode settings (if exists) to compatible mode Change only the settings you have. Boot your mountain lion installation with these boot flags -v PciRoot=0 USBBusFix=Yes White, black or blue screen freezes mostly mean that your graphics card(s) isn't functioning correctly at that time. - You can also try these commands (without quotes) for freezes: You can try combinations by adding a space between them, i.e. "-x -v cpus=1". "-f" "cpus=1" "npci=0x3000" Also there might be some commands that you need to enter just because of your faulty bootloader options selections. "UseKernelCache=No" "GraphicsEnabler=No" When you're successfully boot installation go to disk utilities and partition your hard drive Select your hard drive after you are done with partition and click install Is first installation failed you need to reinstall again ,second installation will be successful Download this zip file Extra.zip Copy DSDT,SSDT and Smbios in Extra folder install voodooHDA with kext wizard install lan RTL 8103LE Run kext utility and wait for it to finish edit org.chameleon.boot.plist in your extra folder and it should be looking like this ? Sound Enabler? http://www.hackintoshosx.com/file/3907-/ Thats it ,you only need to enable your graphics card ?

  15. So, after much much time of searching possibilities to install OS X on my PC, I finally decided to ask for help. So... My Hardware: ASUS P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 Intel Core i5-3450 @ 3,1GHz 8GB RAM NVidia Geforce GTX 650 I want to install Mac OS X Mountain Lion on my PC, but I have different Problems : 1. Some discs don't boot because my BIOS is an UEFI BIOS 2. Some discs don't want to install because I have an MBR Partition style 3. One disc didn't recognize my hard drive The disc which didn't recognize my hard drive was the N{censored} ML 10.8.2 Installation disk, but it had the perfect conditions : It accepted that I install on an MBR disk and was ready to boot BUT... It didn't recognize my hard drive because it is set to IDE, not to AHCI... But I already have Windows 8 Professional x64 installed on my PC and if I would Change now, Windows 8 wouldn't be recognized anymore. So I am asking myself whether somebody of you knows what I can do to install Mac OS X Mountain Lion on my PC! Thank you for helping me!
  16. Hello! This is my first post in this community. I am trying to install OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2 by Hazard on my computer. I've already created my USB drive using Ubuntu's built-in Disk Utility, since I don't have access to a Mac or a Hackintosh. The process is basically the same, but my problem is that I cannot get my computer to boot from it. I've already tried using Nawcom's ModCD, but it was useless for me, since it wouldn't show any USB drive. Is there any way to make it boot? Perhaps installing a bootloader in the flash drive? If so, how do I do that? Here are my specs, just in case you may need them: AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.1 GHz Zotac GeForce GT430 (1GB) 2GB DDR2 RAM ASRock Alive NF6P-VSTA motherboard 2 160GB SATA hard drives BTW: I have Ubuntu and Windows 7, and OS X is currently running on a virtual machine. My idea is to keep Ubuntu running in one hard drive and OS X in the other one, completely ditching Windows. Many, many thanks in advance for your help.

  21. Hi guys, I'm trying to hackintosh 10.6 my PC about a month with no success. I've already read in other forums people who got it working... Here are my tech specs: Motherboard: Asus P5KPL-AM SE Processor: Intel? Core2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80GHz Memory: 2GB Memória DDR2 SDRAM Graphics: Intel? G33/G31 Express Chipset Family (256 MB) Accelerator : Intel GMA 3100 Sound: Realtek ALC887 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller BIOS version: 0506 HD: Samsug SATA 500GB Wifi adapter: TP-Link TL-WN722N My display is an AOC Spectrum 5En, 15' old, a big box yet , I don't if it influences too, because the max resolution is 1024x768. I've already tried to install with multiple bootflags like: -v -x -f -s cpus=1 busratio=20 GraphicsEnabler=No , etc. Besides, I tried with: LegacyBootCD, BootCD, iB{censored}Legacy and iB{censored} and 3 different edited DVDs of Mac OS: Mac OS X Client Server SS2_SS3 10.6 by Hazard, Mac OS X 10.6 SS2_SS3 by Hazard and with iDeneb 10.5.8, I can't get boot in Leopard too... Is there another option to change in BIOS or is this configs wrong? Besides, I can't try with the retail CD, I don't have a Dual-Layer DVD and I don't know how to install via pen drive. Anyone can help or have the solution? Thanks for helping.
  22. In the past I have had just iATKOS s3 v2 on my laptop. But now I want to be able to dual boot to be able to get QE/CI within Windows 7. First step I took was deleting everything by deleting my OS X 10.6.6 partition (after backing up everything to my time machine) then I installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit to my machine. Partitioning half of my HDD, 125GB out of my 250GB. Now I have left my other 125GB unpartitioned for booting iATKOS s3 v2 on to it. What should my next step(s) be? Help is VERY much appreciated. My Hardware Specs: Dell Inspiron 1545 CPU: Pentium Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30GHZ RAM: 3GB Display adapter: Mobile Intel 45 Express Chipset Family
  23. How to format hard disk in mac OS file system? i'm has install mac os, but she (mac os) not see my disks, which are partitioned in the system NtFs. sorry for my bad english
  24. Okay so I was trying to install Mac OS X Lion (N{censored}12495's version) onto my computer (specs listed in my signature) earlier today and I have learnt that getting it to install is giving me more headaches than running Vista ever has. Ouch...so the problem is, once booting from the DVD (I have no USB drive available at this time), the thing would sit there and do nothing for about ten minutes and then a vague memory issue is displayed. A quick search on Google told me to input the command or string or parameter or whatever you call it 'GraphicsEnabler=No' before starting the installer and so I did. Well that got me to the Apple logo but not much further, unfortunately. Some other guys on Google told me to throw the command/string/parameter '-x -v PciRoot=1' in there as well. So I did and then, well...it said it could not load any drivers because it was in safemode or something...anyways, I've also tried using those commands piece by piece (-x first, -v next, -x and -v after that followed by just Pciroot=1 and so on and so forth) without any decent result. So if any of you highly-intellectual people could help me to at least get to the language selection screen, I would be most grateful. By the way you can just call me 'dummy' or 'noob' or 'dumbf*ck' or whatever, I'm totally new to Mac OS X so you'd be right.
